:01:10. > :01:15.It will eventually be home to 200 people aged over 55.
:01:16. > :01:19.Some criticise the idea of separating older people
:01:20. > :01:23.But those moving in say they're buying into a lifestyle.
:01:24. > :01:28.This site near Witney is destined to become one of the largest
:01:29. > :01:32.Within two years, an entire new village will spring up here.
:01:33. > :01:35.But to live in it you'll have to be 55 or older.
:01:36. > :01:38.It'll have a mix of properties to buy, a care home
:01:39. > :01:46.Witney's a thriving market town and it's an ideal location.
:01:47. > :01:53.There's the wealth here that can support a facility like this.
:01:54. > :01:56.Richmond have already built a retirement village in Oxfordshire,
:01:57. > :01:59.a county where the elderly population is growing rapidly.
:02:00. > :02:03.But the very concept has been questioned by some.
:02:04. > :02:07.Elizabeth Mills is the director of a scheme designed to help people stay
:02:08. > :02:15.It's almost like ghetto`izing older people into a community of the same
:02:16. > :02:18.age, when actually most people probably don't have anything in
:02:19. > :02:26.I think most people want to remain in a community of all ages,
:02:27. > :02:31.because that's the way of the realities of life.
:02:32. > :02:35.This kind of retirement comes with a price tag.
:02:36. > :02:40.Homes start at ?200,000 and go up to half a million.
:02:41. > :02:43.But with facilities inlcuding a spa, swimming pool and even
:02:44. > :02:47.a bowling green it's proving popular.
:02:48. > :02:54.I think the fact that we came here at a stage where we were able to
:02:55. > :02:57.enjoy all the facilities was a very good start actually.
:02:58. > :03:05.Be it land or be it a house, and so this is our investment in property.
:03:06. > :03:08.I must say it is quite nice sometimes to get out into what I
:03:09. > :03:17.And we may well see more of these purpose`built sites in future.

:09:27. > :09:30.vision is to bring together the best of surgery and radiotherapy and of
