:00:51. > :00:55.said more than 600 children had been referred to it since 2012

:00:56. > :00:59.as being possible risk of sexual exploitation.

:01:04. > :01:07.It is our responsibility to protect them.

:01:08. > :01:12.In Oxfordshire a centre called the Kingfisher Unit was set up to

:01:13. > :01:16.allow police and social workers to pool information.

:01:17. > :01:30.Now they are setting up similar centres.

:01:31. > :01:35.They are rolling it out to cover all people at risk of any kind of abuse.

:01:36. > :01:39.Inside, police officers will sit alongside social workers,

:01:40. > :01:42.people from health care agencies, to try to make sure that nobodx at risk

:01:43. > :01:47.Some had questioned in a 17`year`old Jayden Parkinson

:01:48. > :01:54.Homeless and vulnerable, shd was murdered by her ex`boyfriend.

:01:55. > :01:56.When we realised she was missing and things have happened

:01:57. > :02:12.which should not have happened, we immediately referred it to

:02:13. > :02:20.the IPCC, which I think is just evidence of us taking it seriously.

:02:21. > :02:21.Thames Valley Police has latnched an investigation

:02:22. > :02:25.after a pedestrian was killdd when he was hit by a police car

:02:26. > :02:30.It's been referred to the Independent Police Complaints

:02:31. > :02:40.A focus of intense police activity, Wokingham Road was sealed

:02:41. > :02:43.off from the early hours of this morning after a police patrol car

:02:44. > :02:47.collided with a person and ` police officer while on an emergency call.

:02:48. > :02:49.The car had been sent to reports of an attempted burglary

:02:50. > :02:52.at a cycle shop near to where the collision happened.

:02:53. > :02:55.The officer was hurt and taken to hospital.

:02:56. > :02:57.His injuries are not thought to be life`threatening.

:05:46. > :05:48.Earth Trust's chief executive said the charity wanted to provide

:05:49. > :05:50.a safe place where people could watch the demolition.

:05:51. > :05:54.I think we got it about right. We're used to running big events hn the

:05:55. > :05:57.daytime. We've never run an event of that scale in the darkness

:05:58. > :06:05.There are things we have learned about the site.

:06:10. > :06:11.South Oxfordshire District Council's already donated ?1,000.

:06:12. > :06:14.Now Npower, which runs the power station, has pledged a further
