:00:13. > :00:15.say they may challenge the decision not to bring criminal chargds

:00:16. > :00:19.Habib Ullah died in a car p`rk in High Wycombe in 2008, after he

:00:20. > :00:22.was stopped by officers who believed he was hiding drugs in his louth.

:00:23. > :00:33.He's been described by his family as loving, caring and thoughftul.

:00:34. > :00:35.39 year old Habib Ullah died after being restrained

:00:36. > :00:42.by a group of police officers during a drugs search six years ago.

:00:43. > :00:44.It's claimed the father of three has been hiding Cl`ss A

:00:45. > :00:47.drugs in his mouth, when he was forced to the ground by polhce

:00:48. > :00:56.Since his death, Habib's family and friends have been

:00:57. > :01:06.Last night they held a press conference in response to

:01:07. > :01:08.a recent decision made by prosecutors to not press ch`rges

:01:09. > :01:21.From day one, I didn't have much faith in the CPS, so the decision

:01:22. > :01:28.has not been welcomed happily. That doesn't mean we're going to

:01:29. > :01:30.stop here. But the police watchdog,

:01:31. > :01:33.the Independent Police Complaints Commission, says it will be looking

:01:34. > :01:35.into claims of gross misconduct If proved, this could lead to

:01:36. > :01:38.the officers involved being sacked In a statement, the IPPC has called

:01:39. > :01:43.this case "a complex investhgation" and say all the officers will now

:01:44. > :01:48.face "gross misconduct hearhngs . That's despite the CPS saying

:01:49. > :01:50.in their one, there was "insufficient evidence" and "no

:01:51. > :01:55.criminal action should be t`ken . An inquest

:01:56. > :01:56.into Habib Ullah's death st`rted This was because of concerns about

:01:57. > :02:01.the differences in statements the officers had given to the coroner,

:02:02. > :02:04.and what they had previouslx told For the family of Habib Ull`h `

:02:05. > :02:08.they say they'll keep fighthng An inquest into the death

:02:09. > :02:17.of mother and daughter ` found in their home in Oxford last

:02:18. > :02:21.year ` has revealed one of the women Environmental health officers had

:02:22. > :02:25.been called to the house You may find some of the detail

:02:26. > :02:28.in Charlotte Stacey's report What emerged was a picture of two

:02:29. > :02:34.lonely women who had shut themselves The coroner described

:02:35. > :02:47.the case as sad and unusual. He said the bodies

:02:48. > :02:50.of the two women had been in such an advanced state of decomposition that

:02:51. > :02:53.initial postmortems had been unable It appeared as though

:02:54. > :02:56.Caroline Jessett, who was 50 and had a history of mental health

:02:57. > :02:59.problems, had been unable to cope when her mother Pauline died, likely

:03:00. > :03:02.to be sometime in March 2012. She placed her body

:03:03. > :03:05.in the downstairs bath and covered Caroline carried on living

:03:06. > :03:17.in the house but it is thought she died sometime in 2013,

:03:18. > :03:20.most likely from a brain tulour Neighbours had initially called

:03:21. > :03:26.environmental health becausd of concerns about the property in

:03:27. > :03:53.Littlemore in November last year. Caroline's body was describdd

:03:54. > :03:57.as mummified in the police report. It took forensic techniques

:03:58. > :03:59.to identify her. Pauline's body was eventually

:04:00. > :04:02.identified from a serial nulber This afternoon the coroner recorded

:04:03. > :04:09.a verdict of death by natural causes for Carolhne,

:04:10. > :04:13.most likely from a brain tulour For Pauline,

:04:14. > :04:23.he recorded an open verdict. A woman whose baby died

:04:24. > :04:26.from a rare genetic disorder is now helping families who find themselves

:04:27. > :04:30.in a similar situation. Katie Elmer from Milton Keynes has

:04:31. > :04:33.helped around 500 families through Katharine Da Costa has

:04:34. > :04:46.been to meet her. Within days, Emily was diagnosed

:04:47. > :04:48.with Edwards syndrome, I took her shopping, we werdn't

:04:49. > :05:07.going to be able to do it when We just tried to live as anxbody

:05:08. > :05:12.would when they bring home a newborn baby and it was ilportant

:05:13. > :05:15.we were able to do that at home Like Downs, Edwards' syndrole,

:05:16. > :05:18.also known as trisomy 18, In most cases, the child develops

:05:19. > :05:21.three copies of chromosome 08, Babies with Edwards' syndrole often

:05:22. > :05:25.have a low birth weight, problems with their heart

:05:26. > :05:27.and kidneys, as well as difficulty One in 2,500 babies are born with

:05:28. > :05:34.Downs, compared to one in But unlike Downs,

:05:35. > :05:40.Edwards' syndrome is associ`ted with a shortened lifespan `

:05:41. > :05:47.most babies live less than ` year. Within weeks

:05:48. > :05:49.of losing her own daughter, Katie She set up the charity Emilx's Star,

:05:50. > :05:56.providing hospital gift boxds for premature babies, photo shoots and

:05:57. > :06:00.family days out for terminally ill children and she's determindd to

:06:01. > :06:06.raise the profile of the condition. A lot of people get told wh`t it is

:06:07. > :06:10.and have do their own research, we want to give people just a bit of

:06:11. > :06:14.hope and see that there are other So far they have raised over ?5 ,000

:06:15. > :06:21.and helped 5000 families in Katie is hoping to extend

:06:22. > :06:24.the charity to support children The British Moto GP will no longer

:06:25. > :06:32.be held at Silverstone The motorcycling event's taken place

:06:33. > :06:35.at the Northamptonshire vente It attracted around 150,000

:06:36. > :06:57.people over three days last year. Very like last night, the rhsk of a

:06:58. > :07:07.shower through the course of the night but not dry weather as well.

:07:08. > :07:10.`` a lot of dry weather. It will be a mainly dry start the day but it

:07:11. > :07:15.won't stay that way, there hs the risk we could have some heavy

:07:16. > :07:20.showers during the afternoon in amongst some sunny spells. Showers

:07:21. > :07:28.will be hit and miss, a lot of dry weather as well. And look ahead to

:07:29. > :07:31.the rest of the week, thunddry showers are a possibility, further

:07:32. > :07:33.showers on Friday, Saturday looking fairly pleasant.

:07:34. > :07:46.Good evening. Most of the weather action today has been centred across

:07:47. > :07:50.central Europe, with some stormy weather moving through France,

:07:51. > :07:54.across Germany, through the Alps, clusters of thunder storms,

:07:55. > :08:00.responsible for exacerbating the mudslide situation in Switzerland

:08:01. > :08:06.and delaying the evening start of the athletics championships in

:08:07. > :08:10.Zurich. Back to the UK, any showers inland starting to fade tonight We

:08:11. > :08:15.keep a few showers in the far north of Scotland, Northern Ireland and

:08:16. > :08:21.north Wales. Clearer skies in central and eastern areas. 11-1

:08:22. > :08:24.Celsius. A more comfortable night. Tomorrow, relatively quiet. But it

:08:25. > :08:31.won't be long before showers develop, some heavy and slow moving.
