:00:24. > :00:24.NHS Trusts in Oxford and Buckinghamshire have re`ssured

:00:25. > :00:32.patients that their breast screening tests are reliable.

:00:33. > :00:34.All women aged between 50 and 70 are invited for breast

:00:35. > :00:39.If any abnormalities are iddntified, they're called back for mord tests.

:00:40. > :00:42.But in June, a serious incident investig`tion was

:00:43. > :00:46.launched in Oxfordshire aftdr five women who'd been given the `ll clear

:00:47. > :00:50.by the same doctor then went onto develop breast cancer.

:00:51. > :00:54.The concern that we have is that some tests were not carried out that

:00:55. > :00:57.might have been able to be `t that time, and if they

:00:58. > :01:01.had been carried out, might have led to an earlier diagnosis.

:01:02. > :01:05.A review looked back at follow`up assessments between 2011 and 20 4.

:01:06. > :01:10.More than 600 women were tested the majority of whom were found to

:01:11. > :01:15.But further checks are being arranged for 30 women who'd

:01:16. > :01:23.Victoria Lyall from Sutton Courtney was diagnosed with breast c`ncer two

:01:24. > :01:31.She knows only too well the anxiety of waiting for test results.

:01:32. > :01:35.Every time your mind is fred to think about anything else other than

:01:36. > :01:39.work or driving or whatever you re doing, any time your mind is free,

:01:40. > :01:42.you think about cancer and what will I do if it is and what treatment

:01:43. > :01:47.They might be doing that unnecessarily.

:01:48. > :01:51.The Trust says a recall like this is unusual.

:01:52. > :01:54.As a precaution, Buckinghamshire Healthcare Trust is also reviewing

:01:55. > :02:00.60 of its cases dating back to 005, when the doctor at the centre

:02:01. > :02:06.No date's been set for when the investigation will report back,

:02:07. > :02:16.but the doctor has stopped carrying out assessments in the meantime

:02:17. > :02:19.Almost a month after a fire started at a recycling plant in Swindon

:02:20. > :02:22.a deal's been struck which lay lead to tonnes of smouldering rubbish

:02:23. > :02:27.The fire has left a cloud of smoke hanging over the town.

:02:28. > :02:31.The Environment Agency has now told the company, Averies, to begin

:02:32. > :02:36.moving the waste from tomorrow. Robin Markwell reports.

:02:37. > :02:42.For 24 days, the fire at this waste facility has

:02:43. > :02:46.smouldered, filling the air with the stench of burning plasthc.

:02:47. > :02:49.It has proved too much for businesses nearby.

:02:50. > :02:52.This one was forced close for nine days and local reshdents

:02:53. > :02:58.It has been really bad, acttally. Has been really bad, actually.

:02:59. > :03:05.If you step outside to go in the car and your clothes smell,

:03:06. > :03:09.it has been quite horrendous when it has blown over this way

:03:10. > :03:12.It has been quite hard in the hot weather, we could not

:03:13. > :03:31.open windows, get fresh air in, you could not hang washing on the line.

:03:32. > :03:39.The smell has been horrible, and it has been nearly a month now.

:03:40. > :03:41.This has been the problem for firefighters,

:03:42. > :03:43.thousands of tightly packed tonnes of household waste, difficult to get

:03:44. > :03:47.But today, at long last, a deal has been struck

:03:48. > :03:50.which could see some of this waste that isn't on fire taken off`site

:03:51. > :03:53.which will allow firefighters better access to put out the flames.

:03:54. > :03:56.The council had suggested dtmping the waste at this park

:03:57. > :03:59.and ride facility, but to the joy of campaigners,

:04:00. > :04:06.Instead, the company that rtns the site has been ordered to move the

:04:07. > :04:14.They have been instructed by the Environment Agency to remove

:04:15. > :04:19.It will be then up to the Environment Agency

:04:20. > :04:21.if that doesn't happen, to ensure that that is carrhed out,

:04:22. > :04:27.so to enable the Fire Brigade to get in and put the fire out.

:04:28. > :04:29.Firefighters warned that reloving the rubbish will

:04:30. > :04:35.in itself fan the flames, in a fire that may yet have a month to burn.

:04:36. > :04:43.But at least today, a whiff of hope for those fed up with the ftmes

:04:44. > :04:53.There were delays on one of Oxford's busiest roads this afternoon

:04:54. > :04:55.The number of young people taking up apprenticeships

:04:56. > :04:58.in Oxfordshire is up this ydar, bucking the national trend.

:04:59. > :05:00.And as thousands of teenagers received their A`Level results this

:05:01. > :05:03.morning, the county's first pop up apprentice shop opened in Abingdon.

:05:04. > :05:05.Managers are encouraging yotng people to consider apprenticeships

:05:06. > :05:09.Joy and relief for these sttdents at Banbury Academy this morning

:05:10. > :05:12.Straight As, three As, which is like, crazy. Really, really good.

:05:13. > :05:16.An A`star in psychology and A`star in English and a B in philosophy.

:05:17. > :05:25.I got an A=star in English Lit, an A in English Language

:05:26. > :05:29.The school had their best results to date.

:05:30. > :05:37.It's not all students that came in with high GCSE profiles

:05:38. > :05:42.in the beginning. Some of the students today that

:05:43. > :05:45.got an A`star or an A came to us with quite low target grades.

:05:46. > :05:47.There are more university places available than ever before,

:05:48. > :05:51.so people are more likely to get a place even if they haven't

:05:52. > :05:55.There are other options avahlable apart from universities.

:05:56. > :05:57.Here in Abingdon, a pop`up apprentice shop.

:05:58. > :06:01.Apprenticeships can now offdr equivalent training to

:06:02. > :06:07.There is a steady increase in people taking apprenticeships and

:06:08. > :06:11.that is going against the n`tional trend, which is significant in

:06:12. > :06:15.a county like Oxfordshire which is very heavily dominated by ftll`time

:06:16. > :06:21.To see a shift towards apprenticeships and work`based

:06:22. > :06:25.Back in Banbury, the results are sinking in.

:06:26. > :06:28.Nationally, the pass rate mhght be down, but for the students, their
