:00:14. > :00:16.The 17`year`old was found stabbed multiple times at his flat in Oxford

:00:17. > :00:20.The court heard Will Blencowe, from Banbury, attacked Connor

:00:21. > :00:23.because he was jealous he was seeing his ex`girlfriend.

:00:24. > :00:29.A jealous killer who planned and carried out a frenzied attack

:00:30. > :00:36.Today 21`year`old Will Blencowe was found guilty of murdering

:00:37. > :00:42.Today in court, Connor Tremble's family cheered as the jury returned

:00:43. > :00:49.We also heard an emotional plea from Connor Tremble's mother, Lisa.

:00:50. > :00:51.She spoke of the sleepless nights she'd had

:00:52. > :00:55.since Connor's death, the horrific impact it had had on both her life

:00:56. > :01:00.She said she's on medication for her anxiety.

:01:10. > :01:11.My life, Connor's dad's life and every member

:01:12. > :01:14.It's a living nightmare that will never end.

:01:18. > :01:22.Connor was a very special young man who was vulnerable due to

:01:23. > :01:26.He touched the hearts of everyone who knew him

:01:27. > :01:32.Connor was a charming, cheeky, happy`go`lucky lad who was just

:01:33. > :01:36.beginning to live an independent life.

:01:37. > :01:39.It was here at Fairacres Road in Oxford that Will Blencowe

:01:40. > :01:47.Five on his front and ten times on his back.

:01:48. > :01:53.Two other defendants in this case were today found not guilty of

:01:54. > :02:02.Judge Eccles will sentence Will Blencowe for murder tomorrow.

:02:03. > :02:04.A 49`year`old homeless man has pleaded guilty to setting fire to

:02:05. > :02:10.Colin Aries set fire to three cashpoints in the high street

:02:11. > :02:13.in June and also set fire to Freemasons Hall in the town.

:02:14. > :02:17.He's admitted four counts of arson and threatening to damage property.

:02:18. > :02:23.Multi`million pound plans to modernise Swindon's Oasis Leisure

:02:24. > :02:26.Centre are on hold for now after the firm behind the project

:02:27. > :02:32.Labour councillors now say they want the current agreement to upgrade

:02:33. > :02:35.the pool and build an indoor ski slope handed to another firm.

:02:36. > :02:43.The Oasis Leisure Centre has been part of Swindon since the 1970s.

:02:44. > :02:48.The water is warm and there's a machine that actually creates waves.

:02:49. > :02:52.But crying out for a facelift, Swindon Borough Council leased it

:02:53. > :02:55.to a firm called Moirai Capital Investments on the condition it

:02:56. > :03:01.modernised it and added an indoor ski slope, bowling alley and cinema.

:03:02. > :03:05.But some councillors say Moirai have failed to meet a planning deadline

:03:06. > :03:09.and claims its sister company, MW Contract Services, who are running

:03:10. > :03:14.the centre, has gone bust, owing local firms thousands of pounds.

:03:15. > :03:18.Now some want the whole deal torn up.

:03:19. > :03:21.It doesn't reflect well on the Council or the people of Swindon

:03:22. > :03:25.if we are in partnership with a company that is prepared to in

:03:26. > :03:30.effect rip`off local businesses to the amount of money they have and I

:03:31. > :03:32.think that we find that unacceptable and I think that,

:03:33. > :03:36.for that reason alone, I don't think we should continue the contract.

:03:37. > :03:40.I think we should scrap it now and get a new partner.

:03:41. > :03:44.One of the local firms who have lost out is Storm Recruitment in Swindon.

:03:45. > :03:46.They were employed to maintain the grounds but

:03:47. > :03:52.when the management company folded, they lost around ?4,500.

:03:53. > :03:57.You have this fantastic company come to Swindon with an amazing project,

:03:58. > :03:59.that not only are businesses excited about

:04:00. > :04:03.but the residents are also, so to be involved in that was excellent.

:04:04. > :04:09.The fact that it's then turned into such a sour ending was terrible.

:04:10. > :04:12.Despite those problems and the delayed planning application,

:04:13. > :04:16.Swindon Borough Council are seemingly being patient with Moirai.

:04:17. > :04:34.As for Moirai, well, they were unavailable for comment

:04:35. > :04:38.today but everyone seems to agree that development here is needed.

:04:39. > :04:45.The question now seems to be who should deliver it?

:04:46. > :04:48.Around ?1 million is being made available to help victims of crime

:04:49. > :04:53.The Police and Crime Commissioner, Anthony Stansfeld says that

:04:54. > :04:55.supporting people who have experienced crime is one

:04:56. > :04:59.He says he's particularly keen to see applications from organisations

:05:00. > :05:03.that help those who have suffered domestic violence, sexual violence

:05:04. > :05:08.Thousands of people have been attending one
