:00:23. > :00:31.That's why 15 officers are carrying out a fingertip search of a garden

:00:32. > :00:37.They believe the final clues may lie herd in the

:00:38. > :00:43.We are looking for items of her personal effects which are

:00:44. > :00:47.missing, which include a handbag, a mobile telephone and a di`ry.

:00:48. > :00:52.And also a weapon which we believe was used in that murder

:00:53. > :00:55.Patricia Goodband was 76 when she died in December 2012.

:00:56. > :01:00.Her body was found concealed in a well in the grounds of her home near

:01:01. > :01:06.Christopher Symons, her bushness partner for more than 30 ye`rs,

:01:07. > :01:10.was convicted of her murder and sentenced to life imprisonment.

:01:11. > :01:13.It's believed he was after her considerable financial estate.

:01:14. > :01:16.The house being searched is that of Robert Taft, a friend of Christopher

:01:17. > :01:21.Symons, who during the Patrhcia Goodband murder trial was convicted

:01:22. > :01:24.of perverting the course of justice and jailed for ten months.

:01:25. > :01:28.Police say though that todax's operation is down to new

:01:29. > :01:33.We had information that suggested that items of property may be

:01:34. > :01:36.at this address, we are acthng on that information and carrying out

:01:37. > :01:39.the search, so whilst the mtrder investigation is concluded, these

:01:40. > :01:42.items that are missing, it hs important that we locate thdse.

:01:43. > :01:49.His house was searched as p`rt of the original investigation

:01:50. > :01:54.Now officers could take up to three days to see if

:01:55. > :02:02.the answers to what exactly happened to Patricia Goodband lie here.

:02:43. > :02:51.The decision to foster a child shouldn't be taken lightly.

:02:52. > :02:55.But for Christine it's been part of her life for the last 15 years.

:02:56. > :02:59.In that time she's looked after more than 150 children for anythhng

:03:00. > :03:06.At the moment she's caring for three ` two sisters and their brother

:03:07. > :03:11.It can be heartbreaking when they leave but when thdy come

:03:12. > :03:14.they are not staying, so yot have to build yourself against that,

:03:15. > :03:21.Watching them be happy, plaxing joining in with the family,

:03:22. > :03:26.because they are treated as part of our family and while thex are

:03:27. > :03:31.But in Buckinghamshire, there is a shortage of people like

:03:32. > :03:35.Christine prepared to look `fter children from the same family.

:03:36. > :03:38.It means many siblings kept together have to be found a

:03:39. > :03:43.In all, there are only 53 foster carers

:03:44. > :03:47.willing to look after children from the same family in Buckingh`mshire.

:03:48. > :03:53.It means around one third of all siblings are being separated.

:03:54. > :03:58.One concern is that the mondy paid to foster carers by the council for

:03:59. > :04:03.It's something those in charge say is under revidw.

:04:04. > :04:10.Allowances possibly haven't kept up with inflation in recent ye`rs,

:04:11. > :04:13.so what we are working on the moment is a new and improved package

:04:14. > :04:19.of allowances for all of our foster carers to make sure that we can

:04:20. > :04:28.attract foster carers and that they are properly rewarded for doing it.

:04:29. > :04:31.The problem isn't one which only affects Buckingh`mshire.

:04:32. > :04:37.But it is an issue the county needs to tackle.
