:01:24. > :01:28.I opened my curtains and thdre they were, so a bit of a surprise.

:01:29. > :01:31.Officers suspect the items found at the house were stolen

:01:32. > :01:33.from protected and heritage sites with the help of a metal detector.

:01:34. > :01:35.It follows yesterday's raid in Hertfordshire where,

:01:36. > :01:37.in a normal`looking garage on a suburban street,

:01:38. > :01:39.an arsenal of historic weapons and munitions were discoverdd.

:01:40. > :01:43.English Heritage are working with police on the case,

:01:44. > :01:45.but they insist most within the metal detecting community act

:01:46. > :01:52.They are as horrified as we are by the actions of the tiny criminal

:01:53. > :01:56.minority who do not take account of the law, remove property without

:01:57. > :02:01.permission and of course, in this case, not only removing property

:03:15. > :03:23.When asbestos was found earlier this year it pushed the cost up by more

:03:24. > :03:28.than ?1 million and forced plans for a covered walkway to be scr`pped.

:03:29. > :03:32.The whole thing is a sort of compromise because we are lhmited

:03:33. > :03:37.with space and the amount of facilities we want to provide so

:03:38. > :03:40.we have had to do a bit of cutting here and there to make

:03:41. > :03:43.sure that everything we want to be here is here.

:03:44. > :03:55.But some people who use the station say more needs to be done.

:03:56. > :03:57.The roads could be a bit larger than what it is,

:03:58. > :04:02.We have not seen the improvement because there has

:04:03. > :04:05.With the improvements now fhnished, it's hoped the three million

:04:06. > :04:10.passengers who use this station will benefit from the effects.

:04:11. > :04:13.Motorists have been promised that the cause of major delays on the A34

:04:14. > :04:17.during this morning's rush hour won't be repeated.

:05:09. > :05:22.From the farming side, the harvest has been quite good

:05:23. > :05:25.but the income will not be puite as good as in the past.

:05:47. > :05:49.will contribute to thinking across the county about how to support

:05:50. > :06:00.the elderly, how to make sure that housing growth is managed in a

:06:16. > :06:17.My issues are with public transport being taken away from villages

:06:18. > :06:21.so that the older population will not have means to get into lajor

:06:22. > :06:25.I have a problem with the towns swallowing up the villages

:06:26. > :06:34.Today's meeting hopes to sthmulate debate about what steps need to be

:06:35. > :06:36.taken to support the elderlx, make villages more affordable places

:06:37. > :06:40.to live in and keep rural businesses competitive.
