:01:11. > :01:14.contract is for. 12 v`VIP helicopters billed as luxury
:01:15. > :01:20.transport for Heads of State. The cost to the Indian Government?
:01:21. > :01:23.Around half a billion pounds. The deal was completed in 2010, but it's
:01:24. > :01:28.been in question since allegations surfaced last year suggesting it may
:01:29. > :01:31.have been won through bribery. The Chief Executive of the firm's
:01:32. > :01:34.Italian parent company was arrested last February over suggestions that
:01:35. > :01:40.a payment of 30 million euros had been made to officials in the Indian
:01:41. > :01:43.Defence Ministry. Now sources in the subcontinent say the contract has
:01:44. > :01:48.been cancelled and the Indian Government is looking to go into
:01:49. > :01:50.arbitration over the deal. AgustaWestland has always strongly
:01:51. > :01:53.denied any allegation of bribery or corruption in winning the deal,
:01:54. > :01:59.calling the claims unsupported and unfounded. This morning they told us
:02:00. > :02:02.they were aware of the reports coming out of India, but that they'd
:02:03. > :02:06.had no official communication themselves.
