:00:12. > :00:16.Good evening, the latest now from Points West. The high capacity Dutch

:00:17. > :00:20.pumps on the flooded Somerset Levels have had to be turned off because of

:00:21. > :00:24.damage to the river bank. The pumps had already moved a million tonnes

:00:25. > :00:27.of water. Engineers are now looking at ways of stabilising the bank

:00:28. > :00:32.Meanwhile for some families it's been a heartbreaking day, watching

:00:33. > :00:37.their homes succumb to the water. Fiona Lamdin reports.

:00:38. > :00:41.Homeless and now Churchless. With Moorland well under the water, today

:00:42. > :00:50.they came to worship on higher ground. Our church has gone at the

:00:51. > :00:57.moment. We can't use it. Praying for those like Leslie, where the waters

:00:58. > :01:03.won this war. We were fighting hard to try and keep it out. We were

:01:04. > :01:08.working with family and friends We even had sex policeman on Sunday. We

:01:09. > :01:14.worked all day putting sandbags up. And you have so many sandbags but it

:01:15. > :01:19.still came in? About 2000. Winded it coming? Wednesday. We got up in the

:01:20. > :01:23.morning and it was all here. It s just devastating. You don't see how

:01:24. > :01:27.it's ever going to go. In fact, it just keeps on rising. This is their

:01:28. > :01:32.neighbour's front door a week ago. Today the water's above the knocker.

:01:33. > :01:36.The grand plan to get the water off the levels lies here at Dunball but

:01:37. > :01:40.these Dutch pumps are idle. They've been turned off, just too strong for

:01:41. > :01:49.the river banks, which are starting to give way. We're just making a

:01:50. > :01:52.small collection for the people that are flooded. Back in East Lying

:01:53. > :01:55.there's no shortage of a new type of visitor. The flood tourists. And so

:01:56. > :01:59.why not charge them? Hundreds made every hour. Clare and Mark built

:02:00. > :02:06.this boat in four hours this morning. It's my friend's birthday.

:02:07. > :02:10.The level for that side of the flood so we thought we would build a boat

:02:11. > :02:19.and beat them there for lunch. As we start week six, locals are clearly

:02:20. > :02:25.adapting. Meanwhile, the threat of flooding

:02:26. > :02:31.has receded to stop the danger of water rising above flood defences

:02:32. > :02:34.has gone for the time being at the island. Part of the cycle path which

:02:35. > :02:37.links Bath and Bristol has been closed after it became submerged. A

:02:38. > :02:41.200m stretch of the path near Newbridge is under about two foot of

:02:42. > :02:44.water. But earlier some cyclists were choosing to ignore that! The

:02:45. > :02:46.council will decide tomorrow if the water can be pumped away from the

:02:47. > :02:50.path. A statue which was once deemed too

:02:51. > :02:54.shocking to go on public view is now on display in Cheltenham. The Kiss

:02:55. > :02:56.by Rodin is worth ?10 million. Here's Zoe Gough.

:02:57. > :03:01.Iconic, popular and in its time highly controversial. The Kiss is

:03:02. > :03:04.once again attracting crowds in Cheltenham, 78 years after it first

:03:05. > :03:11.went on display here. But a few years before that... Auguste Rodin's

:03:12. > :03:25.famous marble pose was removed from view. When this culture first went

:03:26. > :03:29.on public display in 1914, it's intimate nature caused quite a stir.

:03:30. > :03:32.Almost 20 years later, when it first came here to Cheltenham, public

:03:33. > :03:39.opinion was far more favourable And it seems that's still true today.

:03:40. > :03:45.You embrace it as well, as kind of an expression of love and you enjoy

:03:46. > :03:47.it for that reason. It would be wonderful if it could remain

:03:48. > :03:52.permanently here but one has to appreciate that works of art get

:03:53. > :03:56.moved round. We have to share them. In the '30s, The Kiss had a three

:03:57. > :03:59.year stay in Cheltenham. While no longer controversial, its popularity

:04:00. > :04:04.means this time it'll only be around for a few months. Zoe Gough, BBC

:04:05. > :04:07.Points West, Cheltenham. Football now and Bristol City

:04:08. > :04:10.manager Steve Cotterill wants his team to focus on the positives after

:04:11. > :04:14.being held to a draw at home yesterday. Despite taking the lead

:04:15. > :04:17.twice, first through Sam Baldock and then twelve minutes before time by

:04:18. > :04:23.Derrick Williams, City failed to hold on for the win. But the manager

:04:24. > :04:31.isn't thinking of it as two points dropped. I think a little bit

:04:32. > :04:35.earlier on, when I first arrived, I think that would have been a keen

:04:36. > :04:40.that we would have got beaten. I think that we would have perhaps it

:04:41. > :04:42.lost a runner or lost concentration and I think we would have been

:04:43. > :04:46.beaten. Rugby. And in the Premiership, a

:04:47. > :04:49.penalty from Cook and this try from Sharples wasn't enough to prevent

:04:50. > :04:53.defeat for Gloucester at the hands of Leicester. Final score Leicester

:04:54. > :04:55.11, Gloucester eight. While in the Championship, Bristol

:04:56. > :04:59.enjoyed a narrow victory over Nottingham by 25`24. Nicky

:05:00. > :05:06.Robinson's last`gasp penalty sealed a fifth successive league victory

:05:07. > :05:08.for the visitors. The latest weather prospects now,

:05:09. > :05:14.with Hollie Green. with

:05:15. > :05:18.Good evening. We saw some beautiful blue skies today but we have someone

:05:19. > :05:22.on way. It is dry at first with a dip in temperatures but then some

:05:23. > :05:25.showers therein and more outbreaks of friends of the night. We have a

:05:26. > :05:30.Met Office yellow warning in force for parts of western Somerset and

:05:31. > :05:35.Dorset. Rain falling on saturated services. Lows of around 45 degrees

:05:36. > :05:39.but tending to pick up as the main page then. Outbreaks of grain to

:05:40. > :05:46.start the day tomorrow and they continue on and off through the day.

:05:47. > :05:50.Breezy and blustery at times. Thereafter, Tuesday and Wednesday

:05:51. > :05:52.bring bright spells and showers but Wednesday night and Thursday bring

:05:53. > :05:55.wet and windy conditions. And do remember, you can watch

:05:56. > :05:57.Points West bulletins and today s edition of the Politics Show in the

:05:58. > :06:02.West they are our website. Until then, have a very good

:06:03. > :06:20.evening. Whilst we are talking about wet and

:06:21. > :06:26.windy weather in the week ahead we will lose the extremes of last week.

:06:27. > :06:32.The first glow of the week will approach overnight. Clear skies will

:06:33. > :06:36.cause temperatures to fall awake, and we are looking at a frost in

:06:37. > :06:41.eastern England and for northern Scotland with Pitt -- patches of

:06:42. > :06:44.mist and fog. Temperatures will rise through the night as the cloud comes

:06:45. > :06:50.in and the wind begins to lift and the rain arrives. The far north of

:06:51. > :06:55.Scotland will get off to a frosty start. Further south, outbreaks of

:06:56. > :06:58.rain for the rush hour. Rain from Northern Ireland and across northern

:06:59. > :07:02.England. In the East, contending with more stubborn patches of fog.

:07:03. > :07:06.Grey skies of East Anglia and the far south-east of England but

:07:07. > :07:07.essentially
