:00:00. > :00:17.Good evening. Thousands of people turned out on

:00:18. > :00:21.the streets of Bath today to cheer on the runners in the city's annual

:00:22. > :00:26.half marathon. More than 11,000 crossed the start line, braving the

:00:27. > :00:29.wet and windy conditions. Both the men's and women's races were won by

:00:30. > :00:37.Kenyan athletes and more than ? million has been raised for good

:00:38. > :00:42.causes. Will Glennon was there. 11.00am and they're off. 13.1 miles

:00:43. > :00:58.of challening tarmac ahead, and enough lycra to stretch to the moon.

:00:59. > :01:02.Such an emotional moment when we see them all go. When they cross the

:01:03. > :01:07.finish line they are full of excitement and joy and absolutely

:01:08. > :01:10.exhausted. It is an amazing feeling. And in the middle of all this, one

:01:11. > :01:13.amazing man who's been running almost nonstop since Thursday, all

:01:14. > :01:22.over the West, completing a 206`mile challenge. A little bit tired, but

:01:23. > :01:25.were on the final leg now. It's been a fantastic journey and the

:01:26. > :01:30.atmosphere here is always amazing. What a great way to finish this run.

:01:31. > :01:33.Some were clearly going to take longer than others. But the winner

:01:34. > :01:43.from Kenya needed just over an hour, a personal best time. I was not

:01:44. > :01:47.expecting to win. Like the men, Kenya's women managed a 1`2 as well.

:01:48. > :01:56.But local runner Lucy McAlister came in third. I possibly went out and

:01:57. > :02:01.little hard, a little optimistic, but I was pleased to hold onto the

:02:02. > :02:07.position if not the time. The crowd was amazing. But if you're not in

:02:08. > :02:12.the medals, why put yourself through the pain? Each and every runner has

:02:13. > :02:20.a reason. My husband has cancer so we wanted to raise money for the

:02:21. > :02:23.unit. We've raised ?6,000. Last year, more than ?2 million was

:02:24. > :02:25.raised here for charity. They're confident that's one record that's

:02:26. > :02:29.been broken again. The MP for the Cotswolds says we're

:02:30. > :02:31.creating problems for the future by continuing to build on flood planes.

:02:32. > :02:35.Gloucestershire has experienced weeks of heavy rain and some of the

:02:36. > :02:38.worst flooding seen since 2007. Geoffrey Clifton Brown is due to

:02:39. > :02:42.raise the issue in the commons tomorrow where he'll say we must

:02:43. > :02:48.ensure that new homes are built in the right places.

:02:49. > :02:51.Final preparations are underway ahead of Jenny Jones' bus tour

:02:52. > :02:54.through Bristol tomorrow. She'll leave Downend School at four o'clock

:02:55. > :03:02.on this double decker with her family and friends. They'll then

:03:03. > :03:05.make their way into Bristol City centre for a ceremony at City Hall

:03:06. > :03:10.to mark the snowboarder's achievements at Sochi where she won

:03:11. > :03:13.a bronze medal. Bristol boxer Lee Haskins was

:03:14. > :03:16.victorious again last night as he easily beat Belfast's Luke Wilton.

:03:17. > :03:19.Haskins always looked likely to win on home turf, and the referee

:03:20. > :03:23.stopped the contest in the second round after Wilton ` a late stand in

:03:24. > :03:28.` hit the canvas for the second time at the City Academy.

:03:29. > :03:31.Now if you were caught up in traffic along the M4 or the A419 in

:03:32. > :03:38.Wiltshire this afternoon, it could have been this ` the fuselage of an

:03:39. > :03:42.Airbus A321. The load was almost 50 metres long and five metres wide and

:03:43. > :03:44.took up two lanes, as it made its three hour journey from junction 15

:03:45. > :03:59.of the M4 to RAF Kemble. Let's have a look at the weather.

:04:00. > :04:03.We've got some heavy thundery showers through tonight and into

:04:04. > :04:09.tomorrow. By that time, we could see a bit of snow. Those showers develop

:04:10. > :04:16.quite quickly, bringing that risk of hail and thunder. Some clear spells

:04:17. > :04:21.as well, so it could be chilly with frost and ice. Tomorrow, a risk of

:04:22. > :04:27.some snow, if few centimetres above 300 metres. Where those showers do

:04:28. > :04:34.fall they will be heavy and slow moving, so there could be a fair bit

:04:35. > :04:37.of surface water on the roads. There will be sunny spells as well through

:04:38. > :04:42.the day, top temperatures between six and eight degrees. Through the

:04:43. > :04:49.rest of the working week, some sunny spells from time to time, but also a

:04:50. > :04:50.continued risk of rain and showers. That's it from us. Have a good

:04:51. > :05:11.evening. Good evening. After all of the rain

:05:12. > :05:15.today, a chilly night on the way. Cold enough for some ice across

:05:16. > :05:21.parts of Northern Ireland, Scotland and all the way down as far south as

:05:22. > :05:27.Wales and parts of the Midlands too. This is the thrust of the rain.

:05:28. > :05:32.The skies clear and there's the pevential for the icy stretches and

:05:33. > :05:36.showering will be coming in behind the main band of rain. The showers

:05:37. > :05:39.first thing across the south-west of England and Wales could be quite

:05:40. > :05:47.wintry so don't be surprised if there is a bit of sleet or snow

:05:48. > :05:51.particularly across Dartmoor, Exmoor and the Brecon Beacons. A showery

:05:52. > :05:53.day across the south of the country, sunshine in-between and hail and

:05:54. > :05:54.thunder not
