:00:17. > :00:19.severely damaged by fire. Crews were called to Moles nightclub and

:00:20. > :00:23.recording studios on George Street around nine this morning. At one

:00:24. > :00:27.stage its thought members of a band were still inside the venue. Here's

:00:32. > :00:36.last 35 years. The Eurythmics, Blur and the Smiths have all plaxed here.

:00:37. > :00:46.But this morning the old venue was battered by fire. When you see black

:00:47. > :00:51.smoke coming out like that, and behind the Windows as well, the heat

:00:52. > :00:55.must be pretty bad. The building also houses a recording studio. And

:00:56. > :01:03.there were fears a band was using it at the time. When the responsible

:01:04. > :01:07.person arrived on scene he hnformed us that the band were performing at

:01:08. > :01:14.the time and he was not abld to locate them. As it turned ott they

:01:15. > :01:17.have now been safely located. News of the fire spread via soci`l

:01:18. > :01:24.networking sites. With many people showing concern for the vente. It is

:01:25. > :01:28.a very special place for me. Hopefully there is not too luch

:01:29. > :01:33.damage. The electrical supply is being looked at as one posshble

:01:34. > :01:37.cause of the fire. While thd ground floor took the brunt of the damage,

:01:38. > :01:42.Moles is still expected to be closed for some time.

:01:43. > :01:44.Residents in Swindon who fe`r nearby excavation work has damaged their

:01:45. > :01:50.homes and businesses have mdt with developers to voice their concerns.

:01:51. > :01:56.Construction work started on a 50 million retail and leisure complex

:01:57. > :01:59.at Regent Circus last April. But cracks have been appearing hn

:02:00. > :02:03.buildings close to the development. The problem is so severe a chapel

:02:04. > :02:12.has been forced to close. A public meeting was held last night. The
