:00:12. > :00:16.Good evening. Residents of Luchelney on the Somerset Levels held their

:00:17. > :00:20.final flood lunch today. Evdry Sunday since the village has been

:00:21. > :00:24.cut off, 50 people have gathered for a weekly meal. Now, the roads are

:00:25. > :00:38.open and life is slowly rettrning to normal. Muchelney Church, place of

:00:39. > :00:44.worship, village hall and communal dining room. The first week we were

:00:45. > :00:48.flooded we had the need to be together and we have always been a

:00:49. > :00:51.community minded village. They have held what they called a flood lunch

:00:52. > :00:55.here every Sunday since the village was cut off. People bringing and

:00:56. > :01:01.sharing what they can. My contribution was a lemon drhzzle

:01:02. > :01:08.cake. Moist, sour, lovely, thank you very much. Not the ideal wax to meet

:01:09. > :01:14.neighbours, but it has been positive in that sense. Another positive is

:01:15. > :01:23.that this flooded house is beginning to dry out. The McDonaghs only moved

:01:24. > :01:30.in in November. The Christm`s cards a poignant reminder of their first

:01:31. > :01:38.happy days. We have been out of the house longer than we were in it The

:01:39. > :01:42.worst does seem to be over. By this time last week it was still cut off

:01:43. > :01:47.but what a difference the wdek makes. Three out of four ro`ds can

:01:48. > :01:52.be used by cars and it is only this last one you have to pass whth care.

:01:53. > :01:56.That is using a 4x4 vehicle. Thoughts now are turning to the

:01:57. > :01:59.future. Dredging of the Rivdr Tone and Parrett should start anx day.

:02:00. > :02:05.Which people here hope will save the village from another winter of

:02:06. > :02:08.discontent. The Kennet and @von Canal remains partially closed in

:02:09. > :02:14.Bath after a narrow boat capsized in a lock at Widcombe. It happdned

:02:15. > :02:18.yesterday afternoon and, although no one was hurt, the stretch whll stay

:02:19. > :02:21.shut until a crane can lift it out in two days' time. The Paralympic

:02:22. > :02:25.gold medallist Richard Whitdhead says he is disappointed mord is not

:02:26. > :02:28.being done here to support xoung people in sport. Richard, who is

:02:29. > :02:31.president of the North Somerset Athletics Club, was in

:02:32. > :02:41.Weston`super`Mare at the st`rt of a 24`hour fundraising relay around the

:02:42. > :02:44.pier. Springing into action in the spring sunshine. Members of North

:02:45. > :02:53.Somerset Athletics Club running for 24 hours to raise money to build

:02:54. > :02:56.their own training facility. At the moment there is no dedicated

:02:57. > :03:03.facilities and we have to trade in school playing fields, sports halls,

:03:04. > :03:07.and we are a club with 650 lembers and nowhere to train properly. They

:03:08. > :03:13.have the backing of Paralympian gold medal sprinter Richard Whitdhead. It

:03:14. > :03:15.is disappointing the county does not have a training facility for the

:03:16. > :03:21.young people to continue thdir dreams in athletics. For me, it is

:03:22. > :03:25.important facilities are av`ilable and hopefully, after 2012, there is

:03:26. > :03:31.more positive thinking to provide such services. The pier provided the

:03:32. > :03:35.training ground for the last 24 hours with some runners doing a full

:03:36. > :03:43.marathon. I did this shift from 9pm on Saturday and I am staying until

:03:44. > :03:47.12 today. We ran a marathon, me and my team`mates. A couple of weeks, I

:03:48. > :03:51.thought it would be easy, btt I realise now it is quite hard. Hard

:03:52. > :03:57.work but worth it. They need to raise 100,000 and today werd off to

:03:58. > :04:03.a very good start. It's been another warm and sunny

:04:04. > :04:09.day. Next week is not looking quite so good. Here's Holly Green with the

:04:10. > :04:13.forecast. We have seen beautiful blue skies

:04:14. > :04:16.but the cloud is thickening up and that process will continue tonight.

:04:17. > :04:23.The cloud is streaming in from the west. It is low and we could see

:04:24. > :04:31.mist and fog, maybe drizzle here and there. It will be a mild picture.

:04:32. > :04:36.Tomorrow, it starts on a grdy note. We will see brightness breaking

:04:37. > :04:45.through, but more limited than today and around the coast, we cotld keep

:04:46. > :04:49.a lot of cloud and perhaps drizzle. In any sunshine it will feel

:04:50. > :04:53.reasonably warm. Towards thd middle of the week, it is looking cloudy

:04:54. > :04:58.and breezy but Thursday could bring rain and perhaps gales.

:04:59. > :04:59.And that's all from the teal this evening. We'll be back with

:05:00. > :05:11.Breakfast from six. Goodnight. Good evening. Spring well and truly

:05:12. > :05:14.sprung this week. Yet again, today was a beautiful day, with lots of

:05:15. > :05:20.sunshine around, particularly in the south-east. Highs of 20 Celsius in

:05:21. > :05:24.St James's Park. A different story further west with thicker cloud

:05:25. > :05:28.Only nine Celsius, the high here. I suspect this week cloud will be more

:05:29. > :05:33.of an issue and we will see some rain around as well. Not quite as

:05:34. > :05:37.warm as in recent days. In fact we start off Monday on a pretty

:05:38. > :05:41.overcast note across the country. There'll be rain as well in

:05:42. > :05:45.Scotland. Steadily pushing into the Northern Isles. Breezy, not the

:05:46. > :05:47.strong winds we have seen today Nevertheless,
