:00:00. > :00:11.Good evening. A struggling xouth by Boko Haram, but now on BBC One,
:00:12. > :00:15.Good evening. A struggling xouth club is the proud owner of ` Banksy
:00:16. > :00:19.tonight after the secretive artist sent them a note officially giving
:00:20. > :00:25.them his latest piece of work. It could be worth a small forttne and
:00:26. > :00:28.had been housed in the city museum. The Mobile Lovers appeared on
:00:29. > :00:31.Clement Street close to the Broad Plain Boys Club. But the City
:00:32. > :00:35.Council said the work was on its land and it was taken to thd museum
:00:36. > :00:40.for safe keeping. 3000 people a day have been to the gallery to view it
:00:41. > :00:43.but tonight a note from Banksy was delivered to the club saying that
:00:44. > :00:47.they could keep it. It's a financial lifeline for the boys club `nd just
:00:48. > :00:52.before we came on air I spoke to one of their leaders Denis Stinchcombe,
:00:53. > :00:55.who opened the note from Banksy You look very pleased. How `re you
:00:56. > :00:59.feeling? I'm probably the happiest m`n in
:01:00. > :01:03.Bristol or around the world because what Banksy has done for us is
:01:04. > :01:06.phenomenal, it really is. It is safeguarding the club for a long
:01:07. > :01:08.time. He sent you a letter, you'vd got it
:01:09. > :01:13.there. I've got it in my hand, yes.
:01:14. > :01:21.What did it say? Basically, he hopes that he finds me
:01:22. > :01:33.well, which was nice. He saxs, as you know I recently painted on your
:01:34. > :01:36.doorway. This was meant to be a small visual present to the area but
:01:37. > :01:39.apparently a financial one would have been more useful. I don't
:01:40. > :01:42.normally admit to causing criminal damage but as charges likelx won't
:01:43. > :01:46.be brought any time soon, you certainly have my blessing to do
:01:47. > :01:47.what you feel is right with the piece.
:01:48. > :01:51.And what will you do? Basically, it is in the musdum at
:01:52. > :01:55.this moment in time. Some 20,00 people have seen it over thd last
:01:56. > :01:59.few weekends. It can certainly stay there for a while whilst we sit down
:02:00. > :02:03.with the trustees and managdment board to discuss it and get a proper
:02:04. > :02:12.strategy in place of what wd are going to do with it. We are going to
:02:13. > :02:16.sell it at some stage, that's for sure, because, at the end of the
:02:17. > :02:20.day, we are out to make as luch money as we possibly can for the
:02:21. > :02:27.club so that it can't continue for the young people of this arda.
:02:28. > :02:32.In a word, how much money are you hoping for?
:02:33. > :02:35.I think we can come up to a couple of million pounds at least. Sure we
:02:36. > :02:38.can go up there. Thank you for joining us.
:02:39. > :02:46.Congratulations. Pleasure, sir. And thank yot for
:02:47. > :02:50.your help. Pictures have emerged of thd moment
:02:51. > :02:53.a police dog attacked a suspect who was already on the ground, `fter a
:02:54. > :02:57.fight in Weston`super`Mare. The images appear to show the m`n being
:02:58. > :03:00.bitten in the neck and the police have started an internal inpuiry
:03:01. > :03:05.into what happened. We should warn you that we are going to show
:03:06. > :03:09.excerpts from the video. Here's Clinton Rogers.
:03:10. > :03:14.In the cold light of day, the footage does look shocking. The dog
:03:15. > :03:23.apparently out of control, lunges at the man as he lies on the ground.
:03:24. > :03:27.Another police officer behind him. It is of course difficult to see
:03:28. > :03:30.this in context. The 15 second film on the internet plainly doesn't show
:03:31. > :03:35.what happens leading up to the dog attack here. What we do know is the
:03:36. > :03:39.police were called here in the early hours of Monday morning to break up
:03:40. > :03:42.a fight involving a large group of people. This afternoon, the police
:03:43. > :03:44.confirmed they had referred the matter to the Independent Police
:03:45. > :03:48.Complaints Commission. I think it looks awful. But that
:03:49. > :03:53.footage does not show everything that happened. Our dogs are trained
:03:54. > :03:57.to help us in detaining people so when they bite somebody, thdy hold
:03:58. > :04:00.on. But you are right, therd is a clip which shows the officer having
:04:01. > :04:06.some difficulty removing thd dog and therefore it is really important we
:04:07. > :04:10.understand what happened. All police dogs, and this isn't the
:04:11. > :04:13.one who was involved in the attack, are trained for at least three
:04:14. > :04:20.months before being allowed out onto the streets. The dog at the centre
:04:21. > :04:22.of the attack will now be rdtrained. Police say this man had been
:04:23. > :04:29.arrested for allegedly assatlting police officers. After the dog
:04:30. > :04:37.attack, he was taken to hospital. Police say he had wounds to his
:04:38. > :04:40.shoulder and wasn't badly htrt. The youngest patients at Frdnchay
:04:41. > :04:43.Hospital in Bristol have moved out today as final preparations are made
:04:44. > :04:47.for the hospital's closure `t the end of the month. The Children's
:04:48. > :04:51.Unit and Children's A are both closing and patients are moving to
:04:52. > :04:57.Bristol Children's Hospital. Here's our health correspondent, M`tthew
:04:58. > :05:00.Hill. Harry is one of the last chhldren to
:05:01. > :05:03.leave Frenchay. From today, all youngsters like him who havd had
:05:04. > :05:09.specialist brain surgery or burns and skin operations will no longer
:05:10. > :05:12.be cared for here. As much as we'd love to go home
:05:13. > :05:16.they have made our stay wonderful. It is a wonderful place and we have
:05:17. > :05:19.to see what the Children's Hospital brings.
:05:20. > :05:22.This major logistical exerchse to turn the hospital into the region's
:05:23. > :05:26.designated major trauma centre for children has taken a decade. It will
:05:27. > :05:29.mean new wards, two more intensive care beds and extra consult`nts
:05:30. > :05:36.working at the paediatric accident and emergency centre.
:05:37. > :05:40.We had a consultant from eight o'clock in the morning till 10: 0
:05:41. > :05:43.during the week and at the weekends from eight o'clock in the morning
:05:44. > :05:47.till 5:30 in the afternoon. They will have them from eight o'clock to
:05:48. > :05:51.midnight seven days a week which gives us consistent service.
:05:52. > :05:57.This is the final piece of the jigsaw. A ?3 million helipad on top
:05:58. > :06:00.of the teaching hospital. So sick and injured children can be flown
:06:01. > :06:10.here in the quickest time, time that may well save their lives. @fter a
:06:11. > :06:18.final test landing, the children's hospital is now fully open for
:06:19. > :06:23.business. That's all from me. Newsnight's
:06:24. > :06:25.getting started over on BBC Two now here's a look at the forecast with
:06:26. > :06:36.Ian. Tomorrow will bring some wet
:06:37. > :06:40.weather. The first of that will be with us fairly early in the morning.
:06:41. > :06:49.Then a bit of rain throughott the day. Another fairly mild dax despite
:06:50. > :06:54.being breezy. There are a fdw showers around at the moment. There
:06:55. > :07:05.is a good deal of cloud but temperatures are mild. It is pretty
:07:06. > :07:09.wet at rush hour tomorrow. There will still be some spots of rain
:07:10. > :07:16.intermittently throughout the day. Some intermittent heavy and thundery
:07:17. > :07:28.rain. Eventually, all that clears away and things improve in the
:07:29. > :07:29.afternoon. A few showers around on Friday but some sunny spells as
:07:30. > :07:35.well. A looks right as we look into Friday.
:07:36. > :07:41.But more rain for the weekend. Now we have the UK outlook.
:07:42. > :07:42.Spring last year
