:00:00. > 3:59:59one of his daughter's friends. That's all from the BBC News at Six,

:00:00. > :00:09.so it's Welcome to BBC Points West with

:00:10. > :00:15.David Garmston and Alex Lovell. Our main story tonight: Hinkley in

:00:16. > :00:18.the balance. Doubts emerge over whether the new

:00:19. > :00:21.nuclear power station will ever be built, but the Prime Minister says

:00:22. > :00:24.it will go ahead. And is absolutely right that

:00:25. > :00:29.countries in Europe should be able to invest in nuclear energy as part

:00:30. > :00:31.of a balanced plan to provide core energy and keep carbon emissions

:00:32. > :00:33.down. We'll be looking at the obstacles that could prevent the

:00:34. > :00:45.deal happening. Our other headlines tonight: Not

:00:46. > :00:48.out! Cricketers campaign to keep a player

:00:49. > :00:51.in Britain after he's refused asylum.

:00:52. > :00:58.The jet planes that were made in Gloucestershire ` now at last

:00:59. > :01:02.there's a museum for them. And hoping to hit even more highs `

:01:03. > :01:10.a record deal in prospect for the voice of Bristol.

:01:11. > :01:15.Good evening. The Prime Minister says he's confident a new nuclear

:01:16. > :01:18.power station at Hinkley Point in Somerset will get built, amid

:01:19. > :01:24.growing worries that the deal may collapse. There are concerns that

:01:25. > :01:27.the European Union may decide that the financial guarantees offered by

:01:28. > :01:32.the government breach the rules and the whole project could then be in

:01:33. > :01:35.jeopardy. The plans for a new power station are already behind schedule

:01:36. > :01:39.` we had been told that we would be cooking our Christmas dinner on its

:01:40. > :01:47.energy in just three years' time, now it will be a decade at least.

:01:48. > :01:50.Clinton Rogers reports. In corridors of power there are

:01:51. > :01:56.plainly nerves about the future of Hinkley C.

:01:57. > :02:01.Could we please have time to debate this? But that call by the local MP

:02:02. > :02:04.has been seized upon by anti nuclear campaigners as proof that the

:02:05. > :02:12.project is in their words looking more and more flaky.

:02:13. > :02:18.It's clear that Mr Granger is panicking, and he should be, because

:02:19. > :02:21.he has edged his political future to a project that in my opinion has no

:02:22. > :02:25.future. Now, while it might be argued "he would say that, wouldn't

:02:26. > :02:27.he?" it's been a difficult few months for Hinkley C, with the

:02:28. > :02:30.European Union now investigating whether the deal between the

:02:31. > :02:34.government and the French power company EDF amounts to illegal state

:02:35. > :02:42.subsidy and a legal academic arguing it may be invalid.

:02:43. > :02:48.Enter the Prime Minister no less to say fear not Hinkley C will be

:02:49. > :02:51.built. Countries in Europe should be able

:02:52. > :02:56.to invest in nuclear energy as part of a balanced plan to provide core

:02:57. > :03:00.energy and to keep carbon emissions down. That is what we are doing. I'm

:03:01. > :03:04.sure the commission will see that, and I am confident the deal will go

:03:05. > :03:11.ahead. And you could argue, he would say

:03:12. > :03:14.that, wouldn't he? The reality is that the European Union decision is

:03:15. > :03:18.key to the entire future of Hinkley C. If they decide that the deal

:03:19. > :03:21.between the government and EDF does amount to an illegal subsidy, there

:03:22. > :03:26.are those who believe that at that point the EDF will walk away and the

:03:27. > :03:29.entire project will collapse. Yet this week after a long pause the

:03:30. > :03:35.company restarted engineering work to prepare this huge site in

:03:36. > :03:38.readiness for Hinkley C. An investment of several million pounds

:03:39. > :03:40.` a pretty clear indication you might think their confident the EU

:03:41. > :03:55.decision will go their way. Well, with us is our political

:03:56. > :03:58.editor Paul Barltrop. Paul, the question is whether this project is

:03:59. > :04:03.being unfairly subsidised ` but the government subsidises other things

:04:04. > :04:06.doesn't it? Subsidy is permissible, although the

:04:07. > :04:09.government don't like to call it that. Under European rules you can

:04:10. > :04:13.have a subsidy where there is market failure, with things otherwise would

:04:14. > :04:17.not be provided by the open market, but there should be competition

:04:18. > :04:22.between suppliers. That easily done with something like a wind farm but

:04:23. > :04:26.not so easy with a nuclear power station. Deal with EDF was done

:04:27. > :04:30.behind closed doors and that will be scrutinised very carefully, and

:04:31. > :04:34.there will probably not be a decision before the end of this

:04:35. > :04:45.year. If they come out against it, David Cameron's energy policy is in

:04:46. > :04:48.crisis. And on a lighter note, the Prime Minister caused a bit of

:04:49. > :04:54.excitement in a Bristol restaurant last night.

:04:55. > :04:59.He was working locally, and popped into a local restaurant, and what

:05:00. > :05:03.happens is people get their phones out and start taking pictures. Let's

:05:04. > :05:07.have a look at some of them. Hazel was out with a group of friends and

:05:08. > :05:12.got the PM to pose with them for this lovely snap Tom and then Becky

:05:13. > :05:17.Smith, a Bristol University student, but the PM to pose with her for this

:05:18. > :05:23.rather wacky picture. Downing Street has said it was a bit of spontaneous

:05:24. > :05:26.fun. Some other news now ` and tours at

:05:27. > :05:29.Wells Cathedral are still suspended while officials investigate how a

:05:30. > :05:36.68`year`old woman was able to fall 20 feet from a tower last month.

:05:37. > :05:40.The woman ` who still hasn't been named ` was airlifted to hospital

:05:41. > :05:44.with injuries to her hips, arms and legs. She'd been part of a group on

:05:45. > :05:47.what's called the 'High Parts' tour. Mendip District Council today

:05:48. > :05:49.confirmed it will be carrying out a full investigation.

:05:50. > :05:52.An 18`year`old man from Cheltenham has appeared in court charged with

:05:53. > :05:54.the murder of his pregnant girlfriend. 16`year`old Kayleigh

:05:55. > :05:57.Palmer was five months pregnant at the time of her death. Aston

:05:58. > :06:04.Robinson from Humber Road appeared via video link at Bristol Crown

:06:05. > :06:13.Court. He did not enter a plea. He's due to face trial in September.

:06:14. > :06:16.The former snooker player Stephen Lee has been charged with fraud. The

:06:17. > :06:21.news comes as the 39`year`old was due to launch the second part of an

:06:22. > :06:25.appeal against a 12 year ban for match fixing. Stephen Lee, who dies

:06:26. > :06:27.committing any offence, lost the first stage of his appeal in

:06:28. > :06:31.February. A cricket club in Bristol is

:06:32. > :06:35.campaigning to stop one of its players being deported to Pakistan.

:06:36. > :06:38.Ahad Rizvi played for the Easton Cowboys after moving to the UK with

:06:39. > :06:41.his family last year. They say they'll face religious persecution

:06:42. > :06:46.if they go back, but the Home Office has refused permission for them to

:06:47. > :06:52.stay. Will Glennon reports. Ahad Rizvi is a 19`year`old student

:06:53. > :06:55.from Pakistan. For the past year, he and his brothers have played cricket

:06:56. > :07:00.with the Easton Cowboys. They've become valued members of the team

:07:01. > :07:03.and the community. Since the end of March, though, Ahad has been here `

:07:04. > :07:09.the Colnbrook Detention Centre in Middlesex. The Home Office has told

:07:10. > :07:12.him he must go back to Pakistan. Ahad's sister Anum is in Yarl's Wood

:07:13. > :07:20.Detention Centre for Women, also being deported.

:07:21. > :07:26.I don't want them to leave this country. I hope that the Home Office

:07:27. > :07:32.will give them leave to remain and stay in the UK.

:07:33. > :07:35.They have got no family back in Pakistan and they can't go back to

:07:36. > :07:39.the neighbourhood with a brought up because they will be in extreme

:07:40. > :07:45.danger. Difficult back it will be living on the streets in Pakistan

:07:46. > :07:48.with nobody, and the other community here it is happy to welcome them as

:07:49. > :07:52.part of the community. It's left their father Syed devastated. He

:07:53. > :07:55.wants them to stay in Bristol, as a family, all seeking asylum together.

:07:56. > :08:05.He says as minority Shia Muslims in Karachi they've been persecuted,

:08:06. > :08:13.attacked and threatened. When I came here, I wanted to leave

:08:14. > :08:18.the place for safety. They said, we don't want you to be here. So many

:08:19. > :08:23.people of my family have been killed. They have been killed. They

:08:24. > :08:26.are now more in this world. The Home Office said it won't comment on

:08:27. > :08:29.individual cases but official documents shown to me indicate that

:08:30. > :08:32.both Ahad and his sister have exhausted their appeals. It has not

:08:33. > :08:37.been accepted that they'll be unsafe in Pakistan and they are due to be

:08:38. > :08:41.sent home, forcibly if necessary. The cricket club is helping the

:08:42. > :08:46.Rizvis launch one more appeal with a new legal team. They're hoping to

:08:47. > :09:01.get their star player back, but for now at least Ahad's time in Easton

:09:02. > :09:05.may be over. It's Friday and we are live here on

:09:06. > :09:11.BBC One. We will have the weekend weather shortly. And if you haven't

:09:12. > :09:14.decided what's for tea tonight ` how about dandelion, nettle or cow

:09:15. > :09:28.parsley? The food that's free ` but how does it taste?

:09:29. > :09:34.They were some of Gloucestershire's most historic aircraft, but some of

:09:35. > :09:47.the creations were left to the elements unseen and unprotected.

:09:48. > :09:54.But now they have a new home. Once upon a time, Gloucestershire

:09:55. > :09:58.ruled the skies. These jet planes helped build the area's aviation

:09:59. > :10:03.Heritage. But for almost 30 years, the fight has been on to give these

:10:04. > :10:09.military marvels at home. From today, this is it. No longer

:10:10. > :10:14.battered and bruised by the elements, these planes are here to

:10:15. > :10:20.help inspire the next generation of pilots and engineers. Talking of

:10:21. > :10:25.which, the red carpet was laid ready for a legend of the skies.

:10:26. > :10:28.The guest of honour has just arrived, the last man to fly the

:10:29. > :10:35.real version of one of these, one of the most decorated British pilots

:10:36. > :10:38.around, Captain Eric Brown who is here unveiled a plaque, now aged

:10:39. > :10:46.95. I just wish some of those wonderful

:10:47. > :10:51.days could happen again, not war, but we had wonderful spirit none

:10:52. > :10:57.better than here in the Gloucester factory which was set up in World

:10:58. > :11:04.War I and prospered through World War II. I shall never forget the

:11:05. > :11:11.wonderful people. What a heritage we have. Don't lose it. You have set it

:11:12. > :11:16.up Tom and I hope it stays forever. Thank you.

:11:17. > :11:20.From the past to the future. You could feel the life coming back into

:11:21. > :11:28.this place and into these aeroplanes. Even the wine was jet

:11:29. > :11:32.fuel. The museum is open, everything is

:11:33. > :11:48.ready to go. Let's make our own piece of aviation history. Where

:11:49. > :11:52.shall we go? Police in Bristol are investigating

:11:53. > :11:54.a series of arson attacks after cars were set alight in the street over

:11:55. > :11:58.the bank holiday weekend. Several vehicles were set on fire in

:11:59. > :12:01.Henbury and Southmead in the early hours of Sunday morning. Police are

:12:02. > :12:09.asking anyone with information or who saw anything that night to get

:12:10. > :12:13.in touch we are appealing for members of the local community to

:12:14. > :12:16.examine their own consciences. If they know something about these

:12:17. > :12:30.offences it is vitally important they reported to us.

:12:31. > :12:33.The biggest food festival ever held in Bristol comes to a close this

:12:34. > :12:36.weekend. There have been events held right

:12:37. > :12:39.across the city. Sally Challoner joins us from the festival site now.

:12:40. > :12:44.IMac Queen Square and I'm surrounded by a village of pop`up restaurants

:12:45. > :12:48.and tents. There are still days of events for people to catch up with.

:12:49. > :12:55.Street food, food trails and celebrity chefs. One event got my

:12:56. > :13:02.eye that is on tomorrow. It is foraging, and I had a goal earlier

:13:03. > :13:05.this morning. Not since the Second World War have

:13:06. > :13:12.so many people taken to foraging for food. It is free on the good for

:13:13. > :13:16.you, and fun. And you can eat these?

:13:17. > :13:24.You can eat every part of the dandelion. Belief, even the flower

:13:25. > :13:28.head. It is quite bitter, so it might be something that you need to

:13:29. > :13:33.get used to. Mrs Trudy, she is leading a foraging

:13:34. > :13:39.walk tomorrow as part of the Bristol food connections Festival.

:13:40. > :13:44.Mrs cow parsley. It is edible, but is in the same family as hemlock. If

:13:45. > :13:53.you're not absolutely certain it is cow parsley, don't eat it. The walk

:13:54. > :13:56.is organised by the Knowle West Media Centre, who want to encourage

:13:57. > :13:57.people into this area of countryside, in the heart of the

:13:58. > :14:01.city. It's really versatile, you can even

:14:02. > :14:07.make a porridge out of it. Samuel Pepys but in his diary that he ate

:14:08. > :14:11.Nettle porridge. We wanted to show that all this food is wild and

:14:12. > :14:15.local, you can go and find it so you don't have to pay for it, but think

:14:16. > :14:20.about the health benefits, as well. We will have a panel discussion

:14:21. > :14:29.about legality, what you can eat and what you can eat.

:14:30. > :14:37.I also made blackberry whisky. Today BBC Gardener's Question Time was in

:14:38. > :14:44.town, and I had a question for them. First of all, what should I not

:14:45. > :14:49.porridge ? I would be careful of some of the

:14:50. > :14:53.fun guy and toadstools, because although there are some wonderful

:14:54. > :14:57.things out there, there are some things that can look like something

:14:58. > :15:02.good but could give you a gastric upset or something worse. Seek

:15:03. > :15:08.advice or only go for things you are 100 present sure about.

:15:09. > :15:13.I look for dead meat along the roads, and it might sound

:15:14. > :15:20.disgusting, but a nice plump rabbit is marvellous, and if I can't eat

:15:21. > :15:23.it, the CAT scan. The programme they were recording

:15:24. > :15:29.will go out next Friday and Sunday on Radio 4. And here is what I

:15:30. > :15:37.foraged earlier. Nettles and dandelions. David, I picked this for

:15:38. > :15:41.you it is cow parsley. But as Trudy said earlier, it is very similar to

:15:42. > :15:45.hemlock, so I will bring it back and see what you think.

:15:46. > :15:51.I think I might stick to a cheese omelette.

:15:52. > :15:57.We have been doing a few turns down at the food festival and we appear

:15:58. > :16:01.again on Saturday and Sunday. Bath rugby have a huge game ahead of

:16:02. > :16:04.them this weekend. They go head to head with

:16:05. > :16:07.Harlequins, and whoever wins will get the last place in the

:16:08. > :16:11.Premiership playoff. Bath are having their best season for years ` they

:16:12. > :16:14.haven't been out of the top four. They beat Quins at home earlier in

:16:15. > :16:17.the season and they're feeling pretty confident.

:16:18. > :16:23.We gave Northampton a pretty tough test this weekend. We are proud of

:16:24. > :16:28.what we have done, and we want to really put it to Quins. If we play

:16:29. > :16:31.the game we have showed in the last few weeks I think we will do a good

:16:32. > :16:35.job. And Bristol Rugby are already

:16:36. > :16:37.through to their play offs ` their fight for promotion starts this

:16:38. > :16:40.weekend against Rotherham. They've been trying to get back into

:16:41. > :16:44.top flight rugby ever since they were relegated back in 2009. And

:16:45. > :16:48.they're hoping with a new coaching team at the top ` this will be their

:16:49. > :16:51.year ` as Damian Derrick reports. Two very different men with

:16:52. > :16:54.different backgrounds, but one goal ` to get Bristol back into the

:16:55. > :16:58.Premiership. Andy Robinson ` World Cup winner and former England and

:16:59. > :17:06.Scotland head coach. Sean Holley ` four times a league winner with

:17:07. > :17:09.Welsh side Ospreys. I've not been involved in a play`off

:17:10. > :17:14.situation before. We have achieved our first objective which was to get

:17:15. > :17:20.to the play`offs, and now it is vital that we perform.

:17:21. > :17:23.Like Andy, I want to be involved in big games and cope with the pressure

:17:24. > :17:30.and take these boys to a different level. But Bristol have been here

:17:31. > :17:35.before. The final score, if you are a

:17:36. > :17:40.Bristol supporter, you don't want to hear it. A mad 20 minutes against

:17:41. > :17:44.Cornish Pirates two years ago cost them a place in the play`off final.

:17:45. > :17:47.But now they have another chance and there's a good feeling this time,

:17:48. > :17:55.even though the tension will be there come kick off.

:17:56. > :18:03.What a surprise me is how can he is during games. Really amazing.

:18:04. > :18:09.I need a heart rate monitor at times.

:18:10. > :18:12.I've known him for a long time at Edinburgh and Scotland, and he is a

:18:13. > :18:17.real enthusiast and brings out the best in players. Sean brings a

:18:18. > :18:23.complete different aspects. He is a very good communicator, very clear

:18:24. > :18:28.on what he wants. Contrasting personalities, but

:18:29. > :18:34.mutual respect. I love the clarity of message that

:18:35. > :18:39.John has and how he puts that across the.

:18:40. > :18:43.I love the integrity and humility of how he goes about his business... He

:18:44. > :18:47.is a real rugby man, and let's hope that comes across to the squad.

:18:48. > :18:54.Let's hope they're still smiling after tomorrow's match.

:18:55. > :18:59.Now you might remember this face ` or more likely this voice. It's

:19:00. > :19:04.Christina`Marie, from Bristol, who made it to the final of the BBC

:19:05. > :19:07.talent show The Voice. Since then she's been toing and froing from

:19:08. > :19:10.Bristol to London, seeing record producers, writing music, and hoping

:19:11. > :19:14.every minute to hear the news she's longing for ` that a record company

:19:15. > :19:22.wants to sign her. So what's the latest? I caught up with her.

:19:23. > :19:28.I have not been signed as yet. Lots of discussions and meetings still

:19:29. > :19:35.being held. It is looking promising. There is lots of

:19:36. > :19:40.interest, but there is a 45 day waiting period, so I have to wait

:19:41. > :19:44.and see what happens. You have been on parole and since

:19:45. > :19:48.the end of the show, haven't you? Yes, it has been crazy having to

:19:49. > :19:55.come back from London to Bristol and I just, and in between I have been

:19:56. > :20:15.recording and writing and try to keep the energy as much as

:20:16. > :20:26.possible. SHE SINGS.

:20:27. > :20:31.My own personal stuff would be a little different to what I have done

:20:32. > :20:37.on the show. Who I am as a musician is not necessarily a diva in a big

:20:38. > :20:45.dress. I am more live sounding with drums, big and beautiful. Date if

:20:46. > :20:51.the real drums with some synthesisers and a live sounding

:20:52. > :20:54.vibe. I want to bring that out. What is like coming back to Bristol

:20:55. > :20:58.and seeing friends and family again after TV stardom?

:20:59. > :21:03.It's been great. It is a bit strange at first, but it is great to see

:21:04. > :21:07.friends and family and spend some real`time without cameras they and

:21:08. > :21:11.have some privacy. When I came back from the show I went into hiding for

:21:12. > :21:13.a couple of days and didn't really see anyone other than the people

:21:14. > :21:19.closest to me which was nice. It's been nice to have a breeder, that's

:21:20. > :21:34.what is nice but coming home. SHE SINGS.

:21:35. > :21:37.What is the dream for the future? Just to carry on doing what I love

:21:38. > :21:42.and to be able to survive I doing that and not have to go back to what

:21:43. > :21:46.I was doing before for work. This is my dream, and it would be great to

:21:47. > :21:48.be signed and without the music I love as a recording artist. That is

:21:49. > :21:53.Michael. We're right behind you. Thanks for

:21:54. > :22:03.entertaining us and allowing us to find out the latest.

:22:04. > :22:05.Thank you. And Christina`Marie performed some

:22:06. > :22:10.songs especially for us. You can see all of those exclusive

:22:11. > :22:14.tracks on our facebook page: facebook.com/pointswest.

:22:15. > :22:18.And that was filmed in the BBC garden ` looking lovely too ` and if

:22:19. > :22:22.you want to help make it even nicer ` then now is your chance. Back in

:22:23. > :22:25.August a team of volunteers built the BBC Bristol Garden, but two of

:22:26. > :22:29.the planters were never finished, so now, if you're under 16, we'd like

:22:30. > :22:33.you to design them. Our garden design competition is open to all

:22:34. > :22:36.schools in the west for teams of up to five people. Two planters need

:22:37. > :22:40.designing ` one is for under 11s, the other for under 16s. We'll have

:22:41. > :22:43.details of how your school can enter in a moment, but first, Jules Hyam

:22:44. > :22:50.teamed up with Rebecca Bevan from the BBC's gardening programmes to

:22:51. > :22:52.give you some tips. One of the first things to think

:22:53. > :22:59.about when you are designing is, where is the sum? Unfortunately, in

:23:00. > :23:03.the case of this bed, the Sun spends most of its time behind the shed, so

:23:04. > :23:07.you need to think about plants that are suitable for the shade. There

:23:08. > :23:13.are lots of them, including useful herbs like mint and chives.

:23:14. > :23:17.We won't give you a lot of sun to play with, but we also want give you

:23:18. > :23:22.a lot of soil. We really need to keep the weight down, so we won't be

:23:23. > :23:27.planting the entire plant and soil, we will only be giving you about

:23:28. > :23:30.that much. You have really got to think about what goes in their.

:23:31. > :23:34.There is no point putting in big trees and bushes, but think about

:23:35. > :23:39.smaller plants or plant whose roots will spread sideways.

:23:40. > :23:42.These beds are some of the first you will see when you come out of these

:23:43. > :23:46.doors, so they need to create a good impact. You can do that with flowers

:23:47. > :23:52.like these, but you can also do it with leaves. Think about the

:23:53. > :23:59.texture, the colour and the shape. And have loads of fun designing good

:24:00. > :24:07.contrasts. This area is not about contrasts, it

:24:08. > :24:10.is about wildlife. That tree is there for a reason, and the reason

:24:11. > :24:16.is it gives the garden visibility. It means birds and insects can see

:24:17. > :24:21.that it is here. So in terms of these beds, think about what else

:24:22. > :24:24.will work for wildlife. Maybe think about things that will attract

:24:25. > :24:29.insects or some kind of water feature.

:24:30. > :24:33.Quite a challenge! I have designed a few beds and borders in my time, and

:24:34. > :24:36.the thing to do is really look into your plants. Do some research and

:24:37. > :24:40.make sure you have left enough space for everything. Good luck, and we

:24:41. > :24:44.looking forward to seeing your results.

:24:45. > :24:47.Well, Beccy really is looking forward to seeing your designs

:24:48. > :24:49.because she is one of the judges, alongside the head gardener at

:24:50. > :24:55.Stourhead, the Natural History Unit's One Show series producer, and

:24:56. > :24:58.me! Perhaps we could have a swimming

:24:59. > :25:02.pool. We've put plans, photos and all the details you need in an entry

:25:03. > :25:10.pack, and you can get one by emailing bbcbristolgarden@bbc.co.uk.

:25:11. > :25:14.There's also details of how to enter, as well as all the terms and

:25:15. > :25:21.conditions, on our web page: bbc.co.uk/pointswest. Really hope

:25:22. > :25:30.you'll get involved! Now the weather: the cloud has been

:25:31. > :25:33.streaming steadily over the last 40 minutes, and that is a taste of the

:25:34. > :25:40.weekend. Low`pressure dominating the patent.

:25:41. > :25:46.It will be very windy through Saturday and Sunday. Some heavy rain

:25:47. > :25:51.later tonight. That will give way to bright spells and showers.

:25:52. > :25:57.Differences in parts of the region on how many showers you will catch,

:25:58. > :25:59.but it will be unsettled. That is the low`pressure bringing rain

:26:00. > :26:04.towards us later tonight. Some of that will turn heavy, it will clear

:26:05. > :26:11.before daybreak. Thereafter the showers packed in across many

:26:12. > :26:16.districts. And so it will continue into Sunday. There are signs that

:26:17. > :26:20.the showers will fade on Sunday afternoon and evening. Dry

:26:21. > :26:26.conditions at the moment. Cloud is thickening as we speak ahead of the

:26:27. > :26:35.band of rain. Around midnight will be in most of the region. It will be

:26:36. > :26:42.breezy during the night. Some hill fog, temperatures will be mild, nine

:26:43. > :26:45.up to 11 Celsius. Tomorrow that band of rain clears to the east and

:26:46. > :26:50.things will brighten, but more showers will follow. Differences of

:26:51. > :26:56.wind direction and topography will determine which areas seem more or

:26:57. > :26:59.less showers, but most of us will see some showers at some point.

:27:00. > :27:07.Winds will strengthen into the afternoon and evening. A yellow

:27:08. > :27:19.warning in western parts. Strong gusts, perhaps up to 40 or 50 mph.

:27:20. > :27:24.Not a day to have your gazebo up! Are very similar pattern into

:27:25. > :27:29.Sunday. The showers will fade. If you can delay things, next weekend.

:27:30. > :27:37.High`pressure could dominate them and it will be a different story.

:27:38. > :27:42.We are down at the food connections Festival in Bristol this weekend,

:27:43. > :27:47.maybe we can see you there. Otherwise the late news returns

:27:48. > :27:48.after ten and we will see you on Monday.
