:00:10. > :00:11.Hello. First tonight, hospitals in direction.

:00:12. > :00:14.Hello. First tonight, hospitals in some parts of the West say they re

:00:15. > :00:18.treating increasing numbers of teenagers who've been drinkhng too

:00:19. > :00:20.much alcohol. New figures from Public Health England show

:00:21. > :00:25.admissions in Wiltshire, Bath and parts of Somerset are significantly

:00:26. > :00:30.higher than the average. Here's Will Glennon.

:00:31. > :00:34.They're not even old enough to legally drink alcohol. But lore and

:00:35. > :00:43.more under`18s are turning tp at A, especially in South Solerset.

:00:44. > :00:51.Some are too drunk to stand, others have been in fights or falsd. They

:00:52. > :00:55.have even taken drugs. It is a worrying trend I have seen getting

:00:56. > :00:57.worse. It is a huge drain on resources of the health card system,

:00:58. > :01:03.not only the emergency department but also the prehospital, you

:01:04. > :01:10.paramedics, and Bill and crdw, they are the ones who have to tr`nsport

:01:11. > :01:15.the patients here. They reqtire a large amount of support. Whhle

:01:16. > :01:20.teenagers have always experhmented with alcohol, nowadays, there is a

:01:21. > :01:25.tendency to binge drink and to get out of control as quickly as

:01:26. > :01:29.possible. It is seen as mord cool. We are seeing a lot of pressure

:01:30. > :01:37.coming from the media, for xoung people to increasingly grow up a lot

:01:38. > :01:41.faster. Becoming acceptable number of young people being admitted to a

:01:42. > :01:48.handy for alcohol problems hs zero. I am unhappy, because the

:01:49. > :01:51.consequences of that, am I worried we cannot do anything about it she

:01:52. > :01:57.might know, there is lots wd can do about it. I am optimistic that we

:01:58. > :02:01.will be the changes. Alreadx, two new nurses have been put in Somerset

:02:02. > :02:04.hospitals to talk to young people with alcohol issues. The hope is to

:02:05. > :02:08.get through to them before their problems get worse.

:02:09. > :02:12.There were long delays for lotorists around the Bath area this morning

:02:13. > :02:15.after a three`vehicle crash on the A46. Police closed the road for some

:02:16. > :02:19.hours between Cold Ashton and Bath. The M4 eastbound was affectdd for a

:02:20. > :02:22.period, and extra traffic hdading to the Badminton Horse Trials lade for

:02:23. > :02:25.further congestion. In rugby, Bath missed out on the

:02:26. > :02:30.Premiership play`offs as thdy lost 19`16 to Harlequins at the Stoop.

:02:31. > :02:34.George Ford scored all of the Bath points, including one try. But the

:02:35. > :02:44.result means Mike Ford's men finish outside of the top four.

:02:45. > :02:49.We are very disappointed. Btt looking back over the last couple of

:02:50. > :02:55.weeks, there are a lot of points, so that has proved to be the

:02:56. > :02:58.difference. That is disappohnting but we need to dust ourselvds off.

:02:59. > :03:00.Bristol take a 17 points to 14 lead into next Saturday's play`off

:03:01. > :03:04.semifinal second leg against Rotherham. Gastin Cortez, Ltke Eves

:03:05. > :03:12.and Mitch Eadie scored the tries at the Mem.

:03:13. > :03:15.Gloucester lost the final g`me of the season highway to Worcester

:03:16. > :03:19.despite reading for long spdlls in the game. Worcester capitalhse on

:03:20. > :03:22.Gloucester twice going down to 4 players.

:03:23. > :03:29.It was a challenge to get to the Badminton Horse Trials this morning.

:03:30. > :03:31.It was also a challenge to get around the cross`country cotrse

:03:32. > :03:34.where wet weather made for soft going. One competitor, Harrx Meade,

:03:35. > :03:37.from West Littleton in Wiltshire, shattered both elbows in a riding

:03:38. > :03:41.accident last Autumn. There were fears he'd never ride again. But

:03:42. > :03:44.after much hard work and phxsio he was back in the saddle todax, and

:03:45. > :03:47.climbing the leader board to finish the day in eighth position.

:03:48. > :03:50.Finally, Bath's Ping Coombes and Angela Langford, from Merriot near

:03:51. > :03:54.Crewkerne, are both through to the final week of the BBC's MasterChef

:03:55. > :03:56.programme. Last night, Ping kept up her consistently high stand`rd of

:03:57. > :04:02.cuisine, while Angela surprhsed the judges with the best dish of the

:04:03. > :04:07.night. They're now down to the final four, with three shows remahning.

:04:08. > :04:13.Let's check on the forecast, here's Emily Wood.

:04:14. > :04:17.Good evening. Today has been bringing heavy showers and strong

:04:18. > :04:21.winds. Some of the strong whnds are affecting us at the moment. I'd

:04:22. > :04:27.yellow warning for wind with gusts of 50 to 60 mph. That is around

:04:28. > :04:31.parts of the Bristol Channel coast, making for some difficult driving

:04:32. > :04:35.conditions. The winds are driving through, heavy and haps thundery

:04:36. > :04:40.showers through tonight. Thd wind should keep things mild. Eight or

:04:41. > :04:44.nine Celsius. Tomorrow starts with showers from the word go. They

:04:45. > :04:48.continue to be buffeted through by the strong winds. They will not be

:04:49. > :04:54.as strong as today. Highs of around 11 to 14. Monday and Tuesdax bring

:04:55. > :04:55.some more heavy showers. But drier and brighter for the middle of the

:04:56. > :04:58.week. and brighter for the middle

:04:59. > :05:01.If you live in Bristol, look out for road closures through the chty

:05:02. > :05:05.centre and docks areas from 3am as the way is set for the Bristol 0K.

:05:06. > :05:11.If you're running tomorrow, good luck! Bye`bye.

:05:12. > :05:19.Good evening. We have seen plenty of showers scattered across the country

:05:20. > :05:23.today. There will be drier and brighter spells in between. Low

:05:24. > :05:27.pressure is sitting across the country, with some tightly packed

:05:28. > :05:31.isobars to the south. That indicates some strong winds. They will

:05:32. > :05:35.continue throughout the night, going up to gale force at times. The main

:05:36. > :05:41.focus of the wettest weather across parts of West Wales is this rain. It

:05:42. > :05:47.will not be a particularly cold start to Sunday. Showers, not

:05:48. > :05:50.everywhere, some of us will see drier weather weather window of

:05:51. > :05:53.sunshine around, but be prepared for those showers if you're stepping out

:05:54. > :05:54.in the
