:00:20. > :00:23.Swindon's busiest roads. Two men have been arrested on suspicion of

:00:32. > :00:34.tragedy struck at the entrance to the Orbital Retail Park. It's

:00:35. > :00:39.thought both cars were travdlling in opposite directions along Thamesdown

:00:40. > :00:43.Drive when the collision happened. The cars ended up 100 yards away

:00:44. > :00:46.from each other after they hit. The passenger of the red Nissan, who

:00:47. > :00:51.tonight was named as Paul Whnters from Swindon, died in hospital. The

:00:52. > :00:54.driver was seriously injured but is currently stable in Southme`d

:00:55. > :00:58.hospital. Two men, from Swindon who were both in the blue Astra have

:00:59. > :01:12.been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.

:01:13. > :01:16.Access to the shopping centre has been affected but poorly save that

:01:17. > :01:20.is unavoidable as they have to complete their investigation. Police

:01:21. > :01:24.have appealed for witnesses to come forward.

:01:25. > :01:29.The roads are quite quiet at that time of day but there were people

:01:30. > :01:32.here. When police officers `rrived members of the public were `t the

:01:33. > :01:39.scene and we would like to `ppeal for witnesses and they can contact

:01:51. > :01:54.this morning and those injured. The family of a West Countrx sailor

:01:55. > :01:57.have paid tribute to him as a wonderful family man, who "will be

:01:58. > :02:00.missed by everyone that knew him". Paul Goslin and Steve Warren, who

:02:01. > :02:04.were both from Somerset, ard among four sailors missing after their

:02:05. > :02:07.yacht capsized in the Atlantic. In a statement, Paul Goslin's falily say

:02:08. > :02:12.they're "struggling to come to terms with the fact Paul won't be found

:02:13. > :02:15.alive". Prayers have been s`id for the men in churches in Somerset

:02:16. > :02:18.today. A 13`year`old girl from Somdrset,

:02:19. > :02:24.who's been missing since Wednesday, has been found safe and well. Police

:02:25. > :02:29.say Phoebe Lock was found in Swindon last night. She's been reunhted with

:02:30. > :02:34.her family. A man has been `rrested on suspicion of child abduction

:02:35. > :02:37.The results are due to be announced for the European Elections hn the

:02:38. > :02:40.next few hours. Turnout in Thursday's ballot in the Sotth West

:02:41. > :02:44.was slightly down. Voters in most other EU countries have been to the

:02:45. > :02:48.polls today, with the results being announced after ten o'clock tonight.

:02:53. > :02:57.in Bristol. Here at the City Academy Brhstol the

:02:58. > :03:06.count started at 4:30pm. Thhs is one of 138 councils across the south

:03:21. > :03:23.about is turnout. 37%, that's slightly down on the last two

:03:24. > :03:26.European elections. As for the candidates, they are now making

:03:27. > :03:29.their way down to Poole in Dorset. Last time voters selected three

:03:30. > :03:32.Conservatives, two from UKIP and one Liberal Democrat. That is Graham

:03:33. > :03:36.Watson. He has been a member of the European Parliament for 20 xears. He

:03:37. > :03:40.knows he's in danger of loshng his seat. Also vulnerable are the

:03:41. > :03:43.Conservatives. Hoping to make some gains are Labour and of course the

:03:53. > :03:55.Prince Charles has attended a concert in Gloucestershire, his

:04:03. > :04:08.Peter and St Paul in Northldach last night. The prince is the patron of

:04:09. > :04:17.the charity Music in Countrx Churches which helps churchds raise

:04:18. > :04:21.money for their maintenance. It is a really helpful way of

:04:22. > :04:27.getting the church better known and raising funds and listening to great

:04:28. > :04:32.music. The charity has been running for 25 years and has raised nearly

:04:33. > :04:42.by the hundred thousand pounds for churches around the country.
