:00:26. > :00:32.Staff at this secure hospit`l gathered for a meeting this morning,

:00:33. > :00:36.24 hours after a worker here was stabbed to death.

:00:37. > :00:40.Police arrived at 7:30am yesterday morning.

:00:41. > :00:42.But the female health care assistant couldn't be saved.

:00:43. > :00:45.This evening, she's been naled by police as 53`year`old

:00:46. > :00:49.Sharon Wall, who lived nearby in the Tuffley area of the city

:00:50. > :00:52.Today the chief executicve of the NHS Trust she worked

:00:53. > :01:07.Sharon Wall was a respected health care assistant and everyone who knew

:01:08. > :01:12.her speaks about her warmth, caring nature and good sense of hulour She

:01:13. > :01:15.will be deeply missed by colleagues and the service users she stpported.

:01:16. > :01:19.He is believed to be a mental health patient herd.

:01:20. > :01:22.Tonight, police said they'vd now been given another 36 hours

:01:23. > :01:36.The hospital is equipped with 8 beds and only treat patients with

:01:37. > :01:41.acute mental`health problems and it takes them from across

:01:42. > :01:46.Gloucestershire. Today's st`ff said that news of the stabbing h`d left

:01:47. > :01:52.people shaken. Where I work there are people who have been left

:01:53. > :01:57.shocked by what happened. Pdople do not expect to come to work `nd have

:01:58. > :02:01.this happen. It is not something you would think would happen to

:02:02. > :02:05.yourself. It is a shock to dverybody around the hospital. For those

:02:06. > :02:12.representing health workers, the attack has come as disturbing news.

:02:13. > :02:15.It is devastating for the staff working at that hospital. Mdmbers

:02:16. > :02:22.phoned and is in distress, saying they could not believe it h`ppened.

:02:23. > :02:28.They feel worried about everybody involved, themselves, the f`milies

:02:29. > :02:32.and the family of the member of staff tragically killed. Tonight

:02:33. > :02:33.police said the family are deeply distressed and asked for prhvacy and

:02:34. > :02:36.time to grieve. Schools,

:02:37. > :02:38.libraries and job centres in the west were affected by today's strike

:02:39. > :02:40.action by public sector workers Marches and rallies were held

:02:41. > :02:44.across the region, as six public sector unions joined

:02:45. > :02:48.together in a dispute over pay. There were pickets outside councils

:02:49. > :02:50.and government offices, while thousands of homes didn't get

:02:51. > :02:57.their rubbish collected. Firefighters in Gloucestershire have

:02:58. > :03:00.been cleaning up all day after a Thick black smoke drifted over

:03:01. > :03:04.the village of Thrupp last night and people living near Griffin Mill

:03:05. > :03:07.were warned to stay indoors. Now the Environment Agency hs trying

:03:08. > :03:10.to limit the damage to Thick black plumes of smoke followed

:03:11. > :03:39.by an explosion, then more flames. It was thick black smoke. For hours

:03:40. > :03:45.on end. As it got darker, wd saw the fireball which was Orange.

:03:46. > :03:47.The fire started at around 8 o'clock last night

:03:48. > :03:50.at the Nupro aerospace factory in the village of Thrupp near Stroud.

:03:51. > :03:53.At its height, 100 firefighters and 15 engines fought the blaze

:03:54. > :03:56.Locals were told to keep windows and doors shut to prevent them

:03:57. > :04:11.The strength of the smell ottside of burning and chemicals was h`rsh on

:04:55. > :04:59.is a case of waiting. Together with the Envronment Agency,

:05:00. > :05:01.fire officers are now trying to prevent the flow of chemicals

:05:02. > :05:09.into the nearby River Frome. Almost 24 hours after the fhre

:05:10. > :05:17.started, the area is filled with an acrid smell. It is a mysterx as to

:05:18. > :05:21.what caused the blaze. Businesses do not know when they can get back to

:05:22. > :05:23.work in the industrial estate behind me.

:05:24. > :05:26.Meanwhile, one of the busiest roads in Bristol should be fully reopen
