:01:18. > :01:21.Today the CPS told us they'd never been asked to consider a charge

:01:22. > :01:24.of assault against Nile Ranger ` only one of criminal damage.

:01:25. > :01:30.They told us that the evidence against Ranger didn't

:01:31. > :01:34.meet the threshold needed for a criminal conviction.

:01:35. > :01:39.Ranger has played for the England under`19 squad in the past.

:01:40. > :01:41.He played in the Premiership for Newcastle ` before he joined

:01:42. > :01:46.But in May this year his contract was
