:00:10. > :00:13.Around 1,000 people have had their travel plans thrown into chaos after

:00:14. > :00:17.Hatts Travel, who are based in Chippenham, has

:00:18. > :00:23.But the family business ran out of money and today the administrators

:00:24. > :00:25.were brought in leaving nearly 90 people without jobs.

:00:26. > :00:36.Here's Our Wiltshire reporter Will Glennon.

:00:37. > :00:43.The Hatts Travel coaches came back to their base today, possibly for

:00:44. > :00:47.the last time. After 86 years in business company bosses called in

:00:48. > :00:50.the administrators, saying they had run out of money. It is an easy

:00:51. > :00:55.thing to say it has just run out of cash but that is the problem. It has

:00:56. > :00:59.run out of cash. We got involved a week ago today and worked hard to

:01:00. > :01:01.see if there was a solution that could be found but unfortunately

:01:02. > :01:13.there wasn't and I guess it was too late in the day and it has left us

:01:14. > :01:15.with no option but to close the business. All the employees were

:01:16. > :01:18.called to a meeting at lunch time to be told they were losing their jobs.

:01:19. > :01:22.It is just one of those things that happens in life and you have to get

:01:23. > :01:26.on with it. Is just one of those things that happens in life and you

:01:27. > :01:31.have to get on with it. If at the end transport and it also ran a day

:01:32. > :01:37.trip and holiday business and 1000 customers will now be left at home.

:01:38. > :01:42.Michael has just retired and he has been looking forward to four days in

:01:43. > :01:47.Weymouth for his wife's birthday for many months and it cost over ?300

:01:48. > :01:52.and he will not know what happens to his money. Gutted and disgusted and

:01:53. > :02:00.I cannot say it on camera. It is just a pressing and stressing and

:02:01. > :02:04.the wife is very upset as well. We just need it at this time because it

:02:05. > :02:10.is her birthday on Monday and has just been ruined. He is not the only

:02:11. > :02:16.one. People all over Wiltshire are affected. Unfortunately when a tour

:02:17. > :02:20.operator goes out of business it means that the holidays are councils

:02:21. > :02:25.which is not good news. Many of them will lose their money as well. It is

:02:26. > :02:29.actually a legal requirement for a company selling package holidays to

:02:30. > :02:34.offer financial protection and many do that through membership of ABTA.

:02:35. > :02:38.The holiday business has now stopped trading and the company is not

:02:39. > :02:41.affiliated to travel Association said customers are being told to

:02:42. > :02:46.contact their bank or credit card company to find out if they will get

:02:47. > :02:50.out refund. For the coach company it is the end of the road.

:02:51. > :02:53.The first gold medals has been won by athletes from the west tonight at

:02:54. > :02:57.The hard work paid off for judoker Megan Fletcher who was

:02:58. > :02:59.taking part in the competition for the first time.

:03:00. > :03:01.And there was also a gold for swimmer Chris Walker`Hebborn.

:03:02. > :03:06.This is how the medal table looks so far for our West Country athletes.

:03:07. > :03:09.Two Golds, six Silvers and four Bronze medals.

:03:10. > :03:16.Well, Michelle Ruminski reports on tonight's stars of the games.

:03:17. > :03:19.Facing her first Commonwealth Games, and the opponent standing

:03:20. > :03:24.But the bath based Megan Fletcher had a firm grip

:03:25. > :03:29.on the top prize from the start and she wasn't letting go.

:03:30. > :03:42.It still does not feel real if I am honest but I am sure I will think it

:03:43. > :03:44.over tonight and in the next few days I just cannot believe I am the

:03:45. > :03:46.world champion, I am so happy. The second gold medal

:03:47. > :03:48.of the night for England and the West Country came

:03:49. > :04:01.from Chris Walker`Hebborn in the I am absolutely over the moon. A

:04:02. > :04:03.little bit emotional but, yes, speechless.

:04:04. > :04:05.Also making waves in the pool was Siobhan`Marie

:04:06. > :04:10.O'Connor who won Silver in the Women's 100 metre Butterfly.

:04:11. > :04:18.I am really happy with that type. It was a great time. It was such a

:04:19. > :04:20.close race and there is such a small margin for error so I am really

:04:21. > :04:22.happy with that. Chuffed. And it was also a good day

:04:23. > :04:25.for judoker Tom Reed from Devizes After some fancy footwork,

:04:26. > :04:28.the Gold was wrestled from him The World War I soldier who became

:04:29. > :04:37.an ambassador for a lost generation was remembered in Wells today,

:04:38. > :04:40.five years after his death. Harry Patch lived to the age

:04:41. > :04:44.of 111 and became the last survivor He was something

:04:45. > :04:50.of an international hero, reminding us all of the terrible losses

:04:51. > :05:12.on both sides of the conflict. The last post filled the summer air

:05:13. > :05:16.in Wales today `` Matt Wells today for Harry Patch on the anniversary

:05:17. > :05:22.of his death. There is a memorial for him here Hugh from the same

:05:23. > :05:27.stone as the cathedral intended as an eternal reminder of Harry and his

:05:28. > :05:31.generation. We will remember them. Harry Patch was a private in the

:05:32. > :05:35.great War and he fought in the trenches and he was wounded. He did

:05:36. > :05:42.not speak of his experiences until he was 100 years old and most of his

:05:43. > :05:47.comrades were dead. As the last ambassador on earth at the fall, he

:05:48. > :05:58.went back to Belgium to the Menin Gate where the names of 54,000

:05:59. > :06:02.soldiers are engraved. We will remember the brave men who fought on

:06:03. > :06:07.both sides. At first tourists were not sure who he was but as word

:06:08. > :06:11.spread people reached out and buy touching him there was somehow

:06:12. > :06:16.closer to those names on the wall. Now a fund set up in the name of

:06:17. > :06:20.Harry pays for children to come here and youngsters like these girls at

:06:21. > :06:25.the ceremony today belong to a club that encourages learning about

:06:26. > :06:42.Harry's war. A memorial is now standard for him, remembrance we

:06:43. > :06:45.should give to them remembering the days of the trenches were hard for

:06:46. > :06:48.them. Harry Patch was the last man standing. When we lost him five

:06:49. > :06:50.years ago today that find a link with the old soldiers faded away. We

:06:51. > :06:53.can still pay bill our respects by remembering them. In the museum they

:06:54. > :06:55.are helping us to do that, setting up a remarkable exhibition that

:06:56. > :06:58.commemorates life in the trenches. It will be ready in a few weeks when

:06:59. > :07:03.the country marks 100 years from the day the war broke out. Harry Patch,

:07:04. > :07:12.the last face from the great Wall would, I think, a proof. `` approve.

:07:13. > :07:14.The Prime Minister has waded into the debate about the ownership

:07:15. > :07:18.Yesterday we reported on claims that the Spy Booth mural may belong to

:07:19. > :07:21.the Government, due to questions over who owns the wall it's on.

:07:22. > :07:24.But a government spokesman said today the land next to it is in

:07:25. > :07:28.Today the Prime Minister told BBC Radio Gloucestershire that he's

:07:29. > :07:39.I am of course the Minister for the intelligence services and I take

:07:40. > :07:44.very seriously national security and the work our security services do

:07:45. > :07:47.but having said that I love this piece, it is funny and clever.

:07:48. > :07:49.In cricket Somerset have failed to qualify for the quarterfinals

:07:50. > :07:52.of the T20 Blast, despite beating Middlesex by 22 runs.

:07:53. > :07:54.Results elsewhere meant they don't go through to the next stage.

:07:55. > :07:58.And Gloucestershire's T20 campaign ended with a heavy eight wicket

:07:59. > :08:06.There's of course more news on the BBC Website and the

:08:07. > :08:09.We'll be here throughout the weekend but for now,

:08:10. > :08:23.Hello. A good deal of dry weather across the course of the weekend.

:08:24. > :08:27.The key thing really is going to be the changing conditions are sweet

:08:28. > :08:32.egg through towards Sunday. It will be a cooler day, temperatures in low

:08:33. > :08:34.20s but not as a press of the weekend. The key thing really is

:08:35. > :08:37.going to be the changing conditions are sweet egg through towards

:08:38. > :08:46.Sunday. It will be a cooler day, temperatures and low 20s but not as

:08:47. > :08:52.moving their way through this evening. They have been dying away

:08:53. > :08:57.to give the dry night. We are setup for a drive starts tomorrow morning.

:08:58. > :09:01.A good deal of sunshine around, hazy, there is a lot of high cloud

:09:02. > :09:10.around and the chance of a shower cannot be ruled out. Temperatures

:09:11. > :09:16.tomorrow should be safely getting up into the mid`20s for many of you. I

:09:17. > :09:21.mentioned there will be a step change, as we get through to Sunday

:09:22. > :09:25.the temperatures drop down to the comfortable low 20s. There could be

:09:26. > :09:30.more showers around but a good deal of dry weather nevertheless.

:09:31. > :09:34.What about the outlook? A cooling trepd - showers -- trend. Showers

:09:35. > :09:41.breaking out on Monday. We have seen temperatures

:09:42. > :09:46.approaching 30 Celsius. The heat will ebb away this weekend. Cooler

:09:47. > :09:49.and fresher conditions from the north-west. There'll be sunshine,

:09:50. > :09:54.there'll be more showers as well. Today was the turn of south-east

:09:55. > :10:00.England to get the ferocious storms. Lots of thunder and lightning. A lot

:10:01. > :10:07.of rain in a short space of time has led to some flooding.

:10:08. > :10:12.A little bit of rain overnight, maybe brushing Kent and Essex for a

:10:13. > :10:16.while. Otherwise fine and dry. Mist and low cloud to eastern England. It

:10:17. > :10:21.will be another warm and muggy night. That mist and low cloud will

:10:22. > :10:24.burn off tomorrow. Temperatures will lift as the sunshine comes through,

:10:25. > :10:27.except in Northern Ireland, where we have got these bands of showers

:10:28. > :10:29.pushing in. It will turn wetter in the afternoon in western Scotland.

:10:30. > :10:30.Ahead of it,
