:00:08. > :00:13.Welcome to Wales Today. The headlines: five cases of E. Coli

:00:13. > :00:19.have been confirmed centred on this kebab house. Two more cases are

:00:19. > :00:23.being investigated. Two men accused of going on nine

:00:23. > :00:27.encouraging writing in Cardiff. Five year-old Caribbean there was

:00:27. > :00:34.killed by an automatic gate. This park has been reopened in her

:00:34. > :00:42.memory. It is unbelievable that somewhere, so far from our house,

:00:42. > :00:47.our country, is placed in her name. We will never forget. Also tonight:

:00:47. > :00:50.out to impress to claim a World Cup spot but it could be over for

:00:50. > :00:54.Captain Matthew Rees. He needs surgery.

:00:54. > :01:04.And setting calls for London - we speak to the sailor who has booked

:01:04. > :01:13.

:01:13. > :01:16.his place to next year's Five cases of E. Coli have been

:01:16. > :01:22.confirmed in an outbreak in south- east Wales which has left one

:01:23. > :01:26.person in hospital. Two further cases are also being looked into.

:01:26. > :01:29.Public health officers are investigating. Cardiff council has

:01:29. > :01:35.closed a kebab house in the city while investigations were carried

:01:35. > :01:40.out. This takeaway in Cardiff City Road

:01:40. > :01:45.with closed yesterday as a precautionary measure. Five people

:01:45. > :01:49.from Cardiff have been confirmed as having contracted the infection

:01:49. > :01:53.caused by poor food hygiene practices. There are two further

:01:53. > :01:59.cases under investigation and public health Wales say more may

:01:59. > :02:04.follow. It is unusual for asked to get more than one or two cases of E.

:02:04. > :02:08.Coli in a week. Yesterday we had a cluster of several cases and we

:02:08. > :02:14.knew we were leading -- dealing with an unusual situation. Our

:02:14. > :02:20.officers went out, undertook exhaustive investigations with the

:02:20. > :02:25.cases, questions and interviews and took action. Symptoms of E. Coli

:02:25. > :02:29.range from stomach cramps and fever too bloody diarrhoea. Most people

:02:29. > :02:34.recover without complications but the most severe cases can develop

:02:34. > :02:40.kidney failure. One man has been hospitalised in this outbreak but

:02:40. > :02:45.is said to be recovering. Back in 2005, an outbreak affecting 155

:02:45. > :02:48.people resulted in an inquiry after the death of a child. A young

:02:48. > :02:53.mother spent three months in hospital after an outbreak in

:02:53. > :03:00.Wrexham two years ago. Back to this latest Alfrick and officials say

:03:00. > :03:10.anyone experiencing symptoms should contact their GP for advice. That

:03:10. > :03:12.

:03:12. > :03:17.Police in Thailand investigating the murder of backpacker Kirsty

:03:17. > :03:21.Jones will have to get a warrant for speed to carry out DNA test on

:03:21. > :03:29.a public -- for us both. A professor refused a request from

:03:29. > :03:34.police to supply a sample voluntary. He denies any involvement.

:03:34. > :03:38.A man who admitted a series of muggings on elderly women it in

:03:38. > :03:44.Merthyr has been jailed for five years. 44-year-old Leszek Kaba who

:03:44. > :03:49.is from Poland throbbed six women. One of his victims he was a team

:03:49. > :03:54.was hospitalised. Four people have appeared in court

:03:54. > :03:57.to face charges of encouraging disorder through social media. Two

:03:57. > :04:01.teenagers in Wrexham and two men in Cardiff among 12 people to have

:04:01. > :04:06.been arrested. The First Minister has praised police for their

:04:06. > :04:11.efforts in ensuring that Wales has not experienced the kind of unrest

:04:11. > :04:14.in some English cities. The cases of the two Cardiff men

:04:14. > :04:21.were brought to the city's magistrates this morning. Both were

:04:21. > :04:25.heard together in Court Number five. Anthony Gristock pleaded not guilty

:04:25. > :04:31.to the charge of posting information on Facebook are capable

:04:31. > :04:36.of encouraging or assisting violent disorder. Jamie Council, who is 24,

:04:36. > :04:39.was charged with the same offence. He did not enter a plea. Both men

:04:40. > :04:44.were remanded in custody and the case committed to Cardiff Crown

:04:44. > :04:48.Court. In all, 12 arrests have been made

:04:48. > :04:54.across Wales of people suspected of using social networking sides to

:04:54. > :04:59.incite criminal behaviour. Five had been made by Gwent police, two by

:04:59. > :05:04.Dyfed-Powys, two by South Wales and three by North Wales. The cases of

:05:04. > :05:07.two of these were heard this morning by Wrexham magistrates.

:05:07. > :05:12.Here two teenagers were given bail and ordered to appear to appear

:05:12. > :05:16.before a Crown Court on 19th August. Today the First Minister praised

:05:16. > :05:21.police and community workers for their role in keeping Wales trouble

:05:21. > :05:25.free. Over the past three nights, youth workers in Wales had been out

:05:25. > :05:28.in force trying to stave off copycat action here. They believe

:05:28. > :05:36.the relationships they have built up played an important role in

:05:36. > :05:42.keeping the peace. They have disparaged to beat in that kind of

:05:42. > :05:48.environment, but with every bit of conversation, some of the

:05:48. > :05:53.information we gave them around CCTV, they may not get caught there

:05:53. > :05:58.and then, but they may be later on, deterred them. Committees here have

:05:58. > :06:03.not experienced unrest like those seen over the border. Police say

:06:03. > :06:07.they are continuing to monitor social media and networking site.

:06:07. > :06:11.Up to 30 construction workers who may have been exposed to asbestos

:06:11. > :06:19.will not be able to prosecute the health board following legislated

:06:19. > :06:24.mistakes. Why can they not prosecute? If you cast your mind

:06:24. > :06:29.back two years, big shake-up in health bodies in Wales moving from

:06:29. > :06:33.22 local health bodies to seven. During that transfer, a government

:06:34. > :06:39.official somewhere did not transferred criminal liability from

:06:39. > :06:43.the old bodies to the new ones. Even though the health board who

:06:43. > :06:48.runs this hospital have said they are investigating the mishandling

:06:48. > :06:54.of asbestos, even if these 30 construction workers have a case,

:06:54. > :06:58.they will not be able to take that to a criminal court. They can seek

:06:58. > :07:03.compensation through a civil case but they cannot mount a criminal

:07:04. > :07:07.prosecution. What has been the reaction? The union representing

:07:07. > :07:12.these workers have returned to the First Minister asking for an

:07:12. > :07:19.investigation into how this mistake could have happened. They also say

:07:19. > :07:29.it needs to act quickly to insure that these workers... They have

:07:29. > :07:30.

:07:30. > :07:33.also spoke of another example where this might have happened. The

:07:33. > :07:36.Health and Safety Executive said they would have mounted a case

:07:37. > :07:43.against the health board but because of that failure to transfer,

:07:43. > :07:47.they will not mount any criminal investigation. Thank you.

:07:47. > :07:52.822 year-old man has admitted causing the death of two teenagers

:07:52. > :07:56.who were killed in a car crash a year ago. Anwen Busby and Jigh

:07:56. > :08:02.Burkes died after the car went off the road and ended up in a lake.

:08:02. > :08:07.The incident happened on the A44 last August. Today, Ashley Williams

:08:08. > :08:12.admitted to causing the teenager's death by careless driving. It took

:08:12. > :08:20.the emergency services several hours to recover this Ford Focus

:08:20. > :08:26.after it plunged 20 ft off a busy world ending up in 4 ft of water.

:08:26. > :08:32.Three people survived the crash. Two did not for stop this goal was

:08:32. > :08:36.16 years old and had just received her sick -- GCSE results. Their

:08:36. > :08:42.deaths shook the committee. A book of remembrance was opened at the

:08:42. > :08:47.school. In Crown Court today, one of the girl's best friends admitted

:08:47. > :08:51.to causing the teenager's death by careless driving. Almost a year on

:08:51. > :08:56.and it is clear where Ashley Williams drove the car off the road

:08:56. > :08:59.and into the lake below. In court today, he denied the more serious

:09:00. > :09:08.charge of causing death by dangerous driving. The prosecution

:09:08. > :09:12.accepted that after taking advice from expert accident investigators.

:09:12. > :09:16.Here local community leaders said they hoped the verdict would draw a

:09:16. > :09:21.line under a tragic incident. Ashley Williams was granted bail.

:09:21. > :09:27.He will be sentenced on 2nd September.

:09:27. > :09:31.Still ahead: it is a busy weekend on the sporting front. The latest

:09:31. > :09:36.on Wales Captain Matthew Rees is his World Cup dream over? And he

:09:36. > :09:45.was the first Welsh athlete to qualify for London 2012. Paralympic

:09:45. > :09:48.stadia Steve Thomas joins us live. -- sailor.

:09:48. > :09:53.Pembrokeshire council says it is taking action to address failings

:09:53. > :09:57.in its education services. A report from the watchdog says while the

:09:57. > :10:02.authority performs well in some areas, it was judged unsatisfactory

:10:02. > :10:05.in many others. Yesterday the council was criticised for its

:10:05. > :10:12.unacceptable handling of child abuse had Ling's.

:10:12. > :10:18.Four years ago the Welsh Government said every local authority targets

:10:18. > :10:22.on education. The report criticises cows officers here for the quality

:10:22. > :10:26.of information they share with councillors. It says members are

:10:26. > :10:30.unable to challenge the performance of services in schools. Then the

:10:30. > :10:35.council leader says he will be able to turn things around by the time

:10:35. > :10:39.of the next inspection. I am confident we have a good working

:10:39. > :10:44.relationship with our schools in making sure that we turn the corner

:10:44. > :10:53.on those issues that matter. There are six recommendations here, I am

:10:53. > :10:58.confident we will deliver on those changes when they come back.

:10:58. > :11:05.Pembrokeshire council is not alone. It is the second local authority in

:11:05. > :11:09.Wales to receive an unsatisfactory rating. The first was one school

:11:09. > :11:16.which faces the embarrassment of having schools run by a task force

:11:16. > :11:22.from another authority. Paris, Cardiff, Wrexham education services

:11:23. > :11:27.were adequate. No authority has yet received an accident verdict. The

:11:27. > :11:32.education minister has already spoken of his crusade against

:11:32. > :11:35.complacency in the classroom. He wants schools and councils to be

:11:35. > :11:39.held to account for underperformance amid concerns that

:11:39. > :11:44.exam results in Wales are lower than elsewhere in the UK. The

:11:44. > :11:48.authority now has until 9th September to produce an action plan

:11:48. > :11:52.for improvement. It has been an emotional day in the

:11:53. > :11:58.breech end date area with the reopening of a park in the memory

:11:58. > :12:05.of a girl who was killed by an automatic gate. Be carrying a park

:12:05. > :12:08.was renamed after the death of A lasting tribute to a young girl

:12:09. > :12:12.who loved to have fun with her family and friends. Karolina

:12:12. > :12:15.Golabek moved from Poland to south Wales with her family when she was

:12:15. > :12:20.a baby. Karolina's life was cut tragically short after getting

:12:20. > :12:24.trapped in these automatic sliding gates. She was just five-years-old.

:12:24. > :12:26.The local park was closed at the time of her death. Now rebuilt,

:12:26. > :12:29.Karolina's mother officially opened the park with the Mayor of Bridgend.

:12:29. > :12:32.The family have had a tough year with Karolina's father, Joseph,

:12:32. > :12:38.also dieing. The whole family have been overwhelmed by the support

:12:38. > :12:43.from the community. It is incredible. It is

:12:43. > :12:52.unbelievable that a year after we lost her, they still ask me about

:12:52. > :12:55.Joseph, about her. That is amazing. Karolina Park in Bridgend is only a

:12:55. > :12:58.few hundred metres away from where the five-year-old was killed. It

:12:58. > :13:05.was closed at the time of the accident because of health and

:13:05. > :13:09.safety concerns. This part is a fitting tribute to a young girl who

:13:09. > :13:14.loved playing with her friends but it it is this a sad reminder of her

:13:14. > :13:19.early death. Many feel her death could have been avoided if the park

:13:19. > :13:23.was opened. If this was a play area then, she

:13:23. > :13:33.would be playing here. The nearest part is over the main road, which

:13:33. > :13:34.

:13:34. > :13:43.is dangerous. I think that Karolina Golabeck

:13:43. > :13:50.would have loved this. I think everybody would love first

:13:50. > :13:52.playground. Following Karolina's death, her

:13:52. > :13:55.parents campaigned to raise awareness about the dangers of

:13:55. > :13:58.automatic gates and a petition was handed into Downing Street. This

:13:58. > :14:03.park in her memory is helping the family with the healing of losing

:14:04. > :14:09.Karolina so young. That is unbelievable that somewhere,

:14:09. > :14:13.so far from our home, from our country, there is a place in her

:14:13. > :14:17.name. I will never forget about that.

:14:17. > :14:20.A woman who campaigned to keep her local church open so she could get

:14:20. > :14:23.married in the same venue as her mother, grandmother and great-grand

:14:23. > :14:27.mother is preparing for her wedding tomorrow. Stephanie Rowe had booked

:14:27. > :14:30.All Saints Church in Maerdy, but it was nearly closed last month. In

:14:30. > :14:32.protest, parishioners slept in the church for weeks before am

:14:32. > :14:42.agreement was reached to buy the building from the Church in Wales

:14:42. > :14:43.

:14:44. > :14:48.for a thousand pounds. I am over the moon to be the 4th

:14:48. > :14:56.generation to walk down the aisle. It means everything because this is

:14:56. > :14:58.the church I came true as a child. It means a great deal.

:14:58. > :15:02.Good luck to her. Wall-to-wall sport this weekend.

:15:02. > :15:06.Claire's here with all the details. Thanks Gary. Good Evening. Warren

:15:06. > :15:09.Gatland could be without his captain for the world cup. BBC

:15:09. > :15:12.Wales understands Matthew Rees could be ruled out as early as this

:15:12. > :15:15.weekend. He needs neck surgery, which would keep the Lions hooker

:15:15. > :15:18.is out of the game for several months. Wales trained at the

:15:18. > :15:21.Millennium Stadium this morning, ahead of their re-match with

:15:21. > :15:24.England tomorrow afternoon. The Wales camp has stressed all week a

:15:24. > :15:34.win is a must and with just two games left for players to impress,

:15:34. > :15:36.

:15:36. > :15:42.the fight for a World Cup spot is reaching a climax.

:15:42. > :15:46.With James Hook at full-back, it is a good competition. Gavin Henson is

:15:46. > :15:52.also playing. We have competition at centre. That brings the best out

:15:52. > :15:55.of you personally. Gavin Henson has a chance to show us what he can

:15:55. > :15:58.bring to the table. Wrexham football fans will breathe

:15:58. > :16:01.a collective sigh of relief when they see their team take the field

:16:01. > :16:04.for the start of the Conference season tomorrow. The Dragons were

:16:04. > :16:07.in danger of being kicked out of the division, until supporters

:16:07. > :16:09.rallied round to help raise a six- figure bond. They'll now face

:16:09. > :16:14.Cambridge at the Racecourse, while league rivals Newport County are

:16:14. > :16:18.away at Kettering. Dean Saunders has had a lot to put

:16:18. > :16:21.up with this summer, trying to motivating squad which haven't been

:16:21. > :16:24.paid and not knowing until four days before their first match

:16:24. > :16:30.whether they would be allowed to play in the main competition. The

:16:31. > :16:35.Wrexham manager is not content to just get by this season. He wants

:16:35. > :16:43.to meet the supporters dressed and laid down his demands.

:16:43. > :16:47.I need to know what to their demands are. We can really go for

:16:47. > :16:51.it and try to get out of the league. That is what I will tell them.

:16:51. > :16:56.Events at Wrexham will have sent shivers down the spine of those at

:16:56. > :17:01.Newport County old enough to remember the bad old days when this

:17:01. > :17:09.club run out of money. That was back in the 1980s. These days, the

:17:09. > :17:14.club has recovered lost ground and is making progress year on year.

:17:14. > :17:18.Last season, some of the regular support juggled football with day

:17:18. > :17:23.jobs. The manager now insists on all players being available to

:17:23. > :17:30.train every day of the week. That means sacrifices for some.

:17:30. > :17:33.It beats getting up at 6am, going to a building site. Financially, I

:17:34. > :17:37.will lose quite a bit this year but hopefully I will have some great

:17:37. > :17:43.memories to fill that gap. If we can be successful, it doesn't

:17:43. > :17:46.really matter on the money front. I am white -- I am wise enough to

:17:46. > :17:51.know that I would make a mint out of football but I've had some great

:17:51. > :17:54.times. The exile's finished 9th but

:17:54. > :17:58.promotion to the Football League remains the goal. The club has

:17:58. > :18:02.brought in new blood who have done it before.

:18:02. > :18:06.The first five signings are players who have won championships. They

:18:06. > :18:09.are the type of character as I wanted to bring in.

:18:09. > :18:15.Cardiff City got the season of to a good start last weekend with a

:18:15. > :18:19.shock victory at West Ham. That has raised expectations ahead of this

:18:19. > :18:27.Sunday's seven side derby against Bristol City.

:18:27. > :18:34.You are expected to give those performances every week as a team.

:18:34. > :18:38.It is a tough league and everybody is battling for every point. I

:18:38. > :18:42.don't expect anything different. The Welsh Premiership also kicks

:18:42. > :18:46.off tonight, the All Saints take on Bilal.

:18:46. > :18:49.Of course, Swansea City's first taste of the big time is on Monday

:18:49. > :18:52.night. We'll be live from Manchester City's Stadium as the

:18:52. > :18:54.Swans prepare to take on the richest club on the planet. It's

:18:54. > :18:57.going to be an incredible experience for the fans. All the

:18:57. > :19:02.build-up here on Wales Today next week. The players say they can't

:19:02. > :19:07.wait to play in one of the biggest game in the club's history.

:19:07. > :19:15.Everyone is excited to kick off the season. There is a big buzz going

:19:15. > :19:21.on Swansea. Just to get the game, we have been looking forward to it.

:19:21. > :19:26.It is about not giving them any respect, because there are a lot of

:19:26. > :19:29.respect and big players on the pitch. There is no reason why, I am

:19:30. > :19:32.confident in the team that if we perform to the best of the ability,

:19:32. > :19:35.we will give them a run for their money.

:19:35. > :19:38.Now, let's look forward to next years London Games and someone who

:19:38. > :19:40.knows they are definitely going, is Welsh paralympian, Stephen Thomas.

:19:40. > :19:43.Stephen from Bridgend was actually the first Welsh athlete to confirm

:19:43. > :19:46.his place at either the London Olympics or Paralympics. He'll

:19:46. > :19:52.compete in the Sonar Sailing with his two team-mates and as a big

:19:52. > :19:56.gold medal prospect and I'm delighted to say he's here tonight.

:19:56. > :20:00.How did you feel when you got the nod? I know you were expecting to

:20:00. > :20:05.go but to get that yes must have been fantastic.

:20:05. > :20:10.Amazing. We spent years straining hard. Our focus was to come and win

:20:10. > :20:14.selection. We are going to train hard and win a gold.

:20:14. > :20:19.I know it is 12 months of but knowing you are going at this stage

:20:19. > :20:25.brings it a stage closer? Yes. Every time I drive past the

:20:25. > :20:30.venue, it sends butterflies through my stomach. To know that I will be

:20:30. > :20:33.competing in 12 months is amazing. You were 18 and are keen to become

:20:33. > :20:39.a professional rugby player when you got meningitis. You lost both

:20:39. > :20:42.your legs. That must have been incredibly difficult. How did

:20:42. > :20:48.sailing come about? I wanted to rehabilitate and get

:20:48. > :20:55.fit again because I played rugby. I was in a supermarket car-park and a

:20:55. > :20:59.man asked me whether I wanted to go and sale? It was a dream come true.

:20:59. > :21:04.You had never been sailing until that time?

:21:04. > :21:11.Not at all. The biggest vote I had got on was a ferry.

:21:11. > :21:18.What is your role on the vessel? I make the best will go fast.

:21:18. > :21:23.That is a crucial member of the team. How do you make it go fast?

:21:23. > :21:27.The wind deflectors of the sale and you need to ease it out or bring it

:21:27. > :21:33.in to drive it forward into the wind.

:21:33. > :21:39.I know you are targeting gold. It is on home soil. How would it feel

:21:39. > :21:42.to stand on that podium? I can't really express it. It has

:21:42. > :21:48.been a long transition and will be eight years -- it will be 10 years

:21:48. > :21:52.until I could get on to the podium. It would be great for family and

:21:52. > :21:58.friends to watch me win a medal. Will you bring it in when you win

:21:58. > :22:01.Definitely. Thank you. Supporters of the Crusaders have

:22:01. > :22:04.launched a campaign to try ensure the survival of the Rugby League

:22:04. > :22:07.club. The Wrexham-based side has withdrawn from the Super League for

:22:07. > :22:09.the next three seasons because of financial problems. Fans attending

:22:09. > :22:12.tonight's game against Harlequins are being asked to pledge their

:22:12. > :22:22.support for a community-run club to ensure the sport stays in North

:22:22. > :22:25.

:22:25. > :22:28.We need to make a statement to say that we want to keep rugby league

:22:28. > :22:33.happening in North Wales. Everyone is getting together to make a

:22:33. > :22:39.statement. I have come along to show support

:22:39. > :22:43.for the club. I also support newcomers to the game who found an

:22:43. > :22:48.interest in rugby league in the last two years. They have nurtured

:22:48. > :22:51.it and now it has withered away. Well it's a busy weekend and Sport

:22:51. > :22:53.Wales are looking ahead to all the big games. Catch that tonight over

:22:53. > :22:57.big games. Catch that tonight over on BBC2 Wales from 7:00pm. Repeated

:22:57. > :23:01.tomorrow morning at 11:30am on BBC1 Wales. And tomorrow, live

:23:01. > :23:05.commentary of Wales Vs England on commentary of Wales Vs England on

:23:05. > :23:09.Radio Wales and Radio Cymru. Highlights of the match are on BBC2

:23:09. > :23:12.Wales tomorrow night at 7:30pm. Two members of the famous record-

:23:12. > :23:20.breaking Campbell family are hoping to set a new UK land speed record

:23:20. > :23:23.this weekend. It is a big we tend! Don Wales, the

:23:23. > :23:26.grandson of Sir Malcolm Campbell and nephew of Donald Campbell, will

:23:26. > :23:33.race Bluebird Electric with his son across Pendine Sands. Kate Morgan

:23:33. > :23:37.has more. With a day to go, the final checks

:23:37. > :23:42.are under way to make sure the Bluebird Electric is ready for its

:23:42. > :23:48.toughest test on Pendine Sands this weekend. The aim is to break the

:23:48. > :23:53.current land speed record for an electric car of 137 mph.

:23:53. > :23:58.Pendine Sands is a law unto itself. You never know what conditions you

:23:58. > :24:03.will get. We are mindful of conditions but we are hopeful we

:24:03. > :24:08.will get above 150. Anything above that is a bonus.

:24:08. > :24:12.This attempt is extra-special as Don Wales's son will take to the

:24:12. > :24:15.driving seat. He is the latest member of the family to try to

:24:15. > :24:19.break a record. I don't necessarily feel pressure

:24:19. > :24:24.but I feel privileged to be following in their foot but -- in

:24:24. > :24:29.their footsteps and I am looking forward.

:24:29. > :24:34.Joe's great grandfather broke two records at Pendine Sands, including

:24:34. > :24:39.in the Bluebird almost 80 years ago. Donald Campbell was his great uncle.

:24:39. > :24:44.He broke land and water speed record but died in 1957 when his

:24:44. > :24:48.Bluebird flipped over during a record attempt. This electric

:24:48. > :24:54.Bluebird model is just the start of a three-year project. The team want

:24:54. > :24:58.to use this UK record attempt to test the technology they need to

:24:58. > :25:03.build an electric car that can break the world record, with speeds

:25:03. > :25:06.of 500 miles per hour. Good luck to them.

:25:06. > :25:14.Sue! What's the weather for Pendine this weekend, then? And the rest of

:25:14. > :25:18.It is improving through the weekend. A cloudy start on Saturday but

:25:18. > :25:22.turning brighter by Sunday. We can see why if we look at the pressure

:25:22. > :25:26.charge. A front is moving in from the Atlantic, bringing changeable

:25:26. > :25:31.conditions overnight and into tomorrow. Behind that, it is

:25:31. > :25:34.relatively clear. Turning more settled. This evening stays cloudy

:25:35. > :25:39.with a band of persistent rain spreading eastwards overnight. Some

:25:39. > :25:43.heavy bursts in the south and west. South-westerly winds will pick up

:25:43. > :25:48.along the coast. A muggy night with temperatures staying in the mid-

:25:48. > :25:52.teens. Tomorrow, the net -- the remnants of that, leaving a few

:25:52. > :25:59.showers. It will turn drive through the day with breaks in the cloud

:25:59. > :26:03.bringing bright spells, especially for border counties. Brisk winds

:26:03. > :26:08.later on bringing in humid air from the south-west. Stilling mild with

:26:08. > :26:13.highs of 16 Celsius in Pembrokeshire and 19 in Wrexham. A

:26:13. > :26:17.quiet night on Saturday and high pressure building into Sunday. It

:26:17. > :26:22.will become brighter. We can't rule out the odd shower but temperatures

:26:22. > :26:26.in the high teens again. Feeling fresh rather than close. An

:26:26. > :26:31.improving picture through the weekend. Sunny spells on Sunday and

:26:31. > :26:35.it is staying fine for the start of next week. One event to tell you

:26:35. > :26:42.about from Derek's diary, the annual agricultural show is taking

:26:42. > :26:45.part in the Connolly Valley tomorrow. Don't forget, you can

:26:45. > :26:54.keep up-to-date with what is happening and checkout the latest

:26:54. > :26:56.We like that improving bit. Our main news again tonight. An

:26:56. > :26:59.outbreak of E.coli is being investigated in south-east Wales.

:26:59. > :27:02.Five cases have been confirmed, one person is being treated in hospital.

:27:02. > :27:08.Health officials have closed a kebab house in Cardiff as a

:27:08. > :27:12.precaution. We don't know whether we are

:27:12. > :27:17.dealing with a singular incident and we will get no cases, apart

:27:17. > :27:22.from the ones that are exposed, or whether we will see more cases in

:27:22. > :27:26.the next two weeks. We have taken action to control the source but we

:27:26. > :27:29.will expect to see potential cases over the next couple of weeks.
