:00:02. > :00:07.Welcome to Wales Today. Tonight's headlines:

:00:07. > :00:16.Plans to redraw the political map of Wales. The number of MPs would

:00:16. > :00:25.be reduced from 40 to 30. If they are less MPs, you have less to pay

:00:25. > :00:35.out. In one sense it is better. But then, the MPs have bigger areas to

:00:35. > :00:36.

:00:36. > :00:40.Also in the programme tonight: Behind the bands - the school

:00:40. > :00:43.scores that reveal the position of your child's comprehensive.

:00:43. > :00:53.Mother of two Tracey Sheen died after she and her husband put a

:00:53. > :00:59.barbecue inside their tent. A warning tonight about the dangers

:00:59. > :01:01.of carbon dioxide. And blooming early - the mild

:01:01. > :01:11.winter weather brings out the flowers, more than double the

:01:11. > :01:12.

:01:12. > :01:17.Good evening. It's the biggest shake up of the political map for

:01:17. > :01:19.nearly 70 years, and will force some MPs out of a job. Today, plans

:01:19. > :01:25.have been unveiled to reduce the number of constituencies in Wales

:01:26. > :01:28.from 40 to 30. Each will have around 75,000 voters. The plans

:01:28. > :01:32.will only affect elections for Westminster. Assembly

:01:32. > :01:36.constituencies stay the same. Some of the more eye-catching changes

:01:36. > :01:41.include in the South - parts of Caerphilly are joined in a new seat

:01:41. > :01:44.with Cardiff North. In the West, South and West Pembrokeshire come

:01:44. > :01:48.together, and a new seat of Caerfyrddin is created for

:01:48. > :01:55.Carmarthen. And in the North, Anglesey and part of Arfon join to

:01:55. > :01:58.become Menai ac Ynys Mon. Now, you're able to have your say

:01:58. > :02:02.on the plans and we'll be getting reaction from around the country.

:02:02. > :02:07.Roger Pinney is in Beaumaris for us tonight. Our parliamentary

:02:07. > :02:09.correspondent David Cornock is in Westminster. Hywel Griffith is in

:02:09. > :02:19.Caerphilly, where parts of the constituency could merge with

:02:19. > :02:20.

:02:20. > :02:25.Cardiff North. Hywel, what does that mean for the seat? Of quelled,

:02:25. > :02:29.to ditch any, the Labour vote has been as solid as the walls of the

:02:29. > :02:32.castle behind me. However, if it combines with Cardiff North, that

:02:32. > :02:37.is currently held by the Conservatives. It would make this

:02:37. > :02:40.seat far less come -- predictable come the next election in 2015.

:02:40. > :02:45.Labour, as well as the other parties, are having to consider

:02:45. > :02:50.these plans very carefully tonight. Some MPs are considering their

:02:50. > :02:57.political future. Let's take a look at the picture across Wales with

:02:57. > :03:01.this report. It will be the biggest change for over 67 years. A new law

:03:01. > :03:07.means a higher number of voters in each seat so 10 fewer

:03:07. > :03:11.constituencies in Wales. They haven't been any political

:03:11. > :03:17.considerations. The commission looks at existing boundaries of

:03:17. > :03:25.local authorities, constituencies and also considers local ties and

:03:25. > :03:30.community links in particular areas. Anglesey will join the mainline.

:03:30. > :03:34.Plaid Cymru might be concern about the disappearance of a certain

:03:34. > :03:44.seats where they regularly challenged. Success for Labour MPs

:03:44. > :03:48.

:03:48. > :03:53.know there will be less seas for them to compete with. The proposal

:03:53. > :04:01.is bad news for Wales. It sees Welsh representation being reduced

:04:01. > :04:09.by 25% and that can only be bad for Wales is in tears in the UK. Voters

:04:09. > :04:16.he had mixed views of being part of a new seat. Caerphilly and Cardiff

:04:17. > :04:21.North. I think it is bringing more people together, isn't it?

:04:21. > :04:24.Caerphilly is Caerphilly and Cardiff is Cardiff so they are two

:04:24. > :04:29.separate areas. In south-east Wales, the Cardiff region will lose one

:04:29. > :04:34.seat. The Liberal Democrats might be concerned that their powerhouse

:04:35. > :04:43.of Cardiff Central might be no more. Will they be as strong? At the

:04:43. > :04:51.other end of South Wales, other seats would go as well. It's might

:04:51. > :04:54.worry this current MP. Part of his seat would go into the new seat.

:04:55. > :05:00.The sheer size of some proposed constituency has got some people

:05:00. > :05:04.talking. No more so than in New Town which will be under South

:05:04. > :05:09.powers which covers an area of nearly 4,000 square kilometres.

:05:09. > :05:13.They should get more MPs, they should find more MPs for different

:05:13. > :05:18.locations and all that, spread them out and they should do something

:05:18. > :05:25.about the towns. One Lib Dem have already represents a large

:05:25. > :05:29.constituency isn't boring. People would be put off because the seeds

:05:29. > :05:33.are bigger. If the interests of wares are at heart, plenty of

:05:33. > :05:40.people want to represent them. names of the new constituencies

:05:40. > :05:46.will also cause debates. The public consultation on the proposals will

:05:46. > :05:54.continue until April 4th. The final recommendations will have to be

:05:54. > :06:00.made by October 2013. Here in North Wales, the proposed changes are

:06:00. > :06:08.just as dramatic. I'm in Beaumaris. For many years, it Haydon Bridge

:06:08. > :06:17.had its own representation. But Anglesey has had its own MP for the

:06:17. > :06:22.best part of 500 years. Today, I travelled across North Wales

:06:23. > :06:32.gauging reaction. Politics used to be such a simple process. When it

:06:32. > :06:36.for the first built Haydon Bridge Castle,... Crucially, as far as

:06:36. > :06:43.this is concerned, how many voters are needed to his send a

:06:43. > :06:48.representative to Parliament? On Anglesey, recent political history

:06:48. > :06:52.has been chequered. Plaid Cymru took the seats from the Tories

:06:52. > :06:58.before losing it to Labour. The constituency has always been

:06:58. > :07:03.defined by its geography. Now, it may fall victim to the numbers game.

:07:03. > :07:06.Too small to stand alone. A merger is proposed with parts of a

:07:06. > :07:13.neighbouring town, a process that will see bigger seats with more

:07:13. > :07:20.voters. My constituency has been halved. As far as the new quiz is

:07:20. > :07:26.concerned, it is an enormous constituency. It goes from the sea

:07:26. > :07:33.in the north to meet Wales. Serve in that constituency will be quite

:07:33. > :07:37.a challenge, just in driving around. Along the coast, another castle.

:07:37. > :07:42.This has seen a few political our peoples over the years. There is

:07:42. > :07:46.nothing new about Alton the size, the shape or even the name of

:07:47. > :07:51.parliamentary constituencies. This old town was once part of another

:07:51. > :07:58.constituency, represented by David Lloyd George. Over time, it has

:07:59. > :08:08.been known by other names. So, what is in an end? Now, the proposal is

:08:09. > :08:09.

:08:09. > :08:18.to call it north coast Wales. A case here of two into one won't go.

:08:18. > :08:27.The questioner put to local people, what matters most? The person doing

:08:27. > :08:37.the job. Size is not everything., definitely, the case of quality.

:08:37. > :08:38.

:08:38. > :08:46.The local MP is based over there. He is just there. A single MP could

:08:46. > :08:51.not... The electric... We are just trying to make sure that every MP

:08:51. > :08:58.roughly speaking reserve the same out of constituencies. In Wales,

:08:58. > :09:03.that means 10 will lose their jobs. At this end of North Wales, it is a

:09:04. > :09:07.Labour seat which disappears. What about this issue of Wales losing 10

:09:07. > :09:17.MPs? A quarter of our parliamentarians made redundant.

:09:17. > :09:18.

:09:18. > :09:26.Don't you feel sorry that 10 Welsh MPs will be losing their jobs?

:09:26. > :09:30.So, no sympathy at all? No. I've lost my job, nobody has sympathy

:09:30. > :09:34.for me. Politics is a fickle business. Edward the first lodged

:09:34. > :09:44.his forays into Wales from the city of Chester. The government was so

:09:44. > :09:47.

:09:47. > :09:50.much simpler then. Let's hear from some of the MPs. I'm joined by two

:09:50. > :09:56.members of the endangered species that is the Welsh member of

:09:56. > :10:01.parliament. Are you going to miss being aired -- an MP? After

:10:01. > :10:04.personal level, Montgomeryshire is a seat that I laugh and we worked

:10:04. > :10:08.very hard to make it a seat. There is that element of personal

:10:08. > :10:14.discipline that. I shall be looking to put my name forward in one of

:10:14. > :10:18.the other seats when the boundaries are finally decided. He says it is

:10:18. > :10:21.disappointing but it is your government? It is not a great

:10:21. > :10:26.surprise. It is pretty much as I expected. I knew my constituency

:10:26. > :10:32.was in danger of being split up as soon as the Bill was passed. We

:10:32. > :10:38.fought the general election and for the people of Britain wanted fewer

:10:38. > :10:44.politicians, wanted democracy to be less expensive. We implemented what

:10:44. > :10:48.we said after the election. This is the consequence. This is a

:10:48. > :10:51.consequence of the government and the Prime Minister should be

:10:51. > :10:56.defending her policy of deliberately deciding to short

:10:56. > :11:00.changed Wales. It is not just Labour MPs which are going. Tory

:11:00. > :11:04.MPs are losing their seats. They are spitting blood behind us in the

:11:04. > :11:11.House of Commons. They are all moaning about it, as are the

:11:11. > :11:17.Liberal Democrat sits. They should be saying, saved Wales's voice in

:11:17. > :11:21.Parliament. I hope the MPs will see sense among his comebacks to the

:11:21. > :11:25.Commons, keep the number of MPs that Wales has is that of a quarter

:11:25. > :11:30.losing. Whatever a party, we have a duty to speak for Wales, whatever

:11:30. > :11:35.our party. I am angry because of the effect of individual MPs and

:11:35. > :11:40.because Waleses in this is being cut. We did see it like that was

:11:40. > :11:44.stop we have had these days for months. We delivered a fair result,

:11:44. > :11:49.we delivered the result we promised before the election and the has

:11:49. > :11:57.surpassed that Bill and today is it fair consequence by an independent

:11:57. > :12:01.body. And for a full breakdown of how the

:12:01. > :12:04.planned changes affect where you live, visit bbc.co.uk/walesnews.

:12:04. > :12:07.BBC Wales can today reveal the exact scores for every one of our

:12:07. > :12:10.secondary schools - the scores used to calculate their banding under

:12:10. > :12:12.the Welsh Government's controversial new system. The

:12:12. > :12:17.information gives parents further detail on the position of their

:12:17. > :12:21.children's schools. Ysgol Tryfan in Bangor gets the best score, as our

:12:21. > :12:24.education correspondent, Nicola Smith, reports.

:12:24. > :12:29.Since December last year, secondary schools in Wales have been placed

:12:29. > :12:32.within one of five bands. Band 1 is the highest, and 5, the lowest. To

:12:32. > :12:34.work out which band a school should be in, they're given points in

:12:34. > :12:40.areas including GCSE exam performance and pupil attendance

:12:40. > :12:43.levels. They're rewarded if they've made progress in those areas. The

:12:43. > :12:47.number of pupils eligible for free school meals is also taken into

:12:47. > :12:52.account to allow for the challenges of running a school in a deprived

:12:52. > :13:00.area. Now, parents can see exactly where their child's school sits in

:13:00. > :13:04.the system. A system designed to see how schools are performing and

:13:04. > :13:06.which need extra support. The Welsh Government has released a detailed

:13:06. > :13:09.breakdown under the Freedom of Information Act, following a

:13:09. > :13:13.request from the BBC. So today, we've learned that Ysgol Tryfan in

:13:13. > :13:17.Bangor recorded the highest mark possible in the banding system. The

:13:17. > :13:19.school with the lowest score is Llanrumney High School in Cardiff.

:13:19. > :13:25.New information - information academics say needs to be used

:13:25. > :13:29.effectively. If we get into a who's better than who analysis, and

:13:29. > :13:34.there's a real risk we will, this just ends up being a stick to beat

:13:34. > :13:36.schools with. In fact, what we really need to be doing is

:13:36. > :13:46.demanding of Government and local authorities about what resources

:13:46. > :13:47.

:13:47. > :13:50.are going to be deployed as a result of this banding. This is a

:13:50. > :13:53.relatively narrow range of performance measures. They are

:13:53. > :13:57.important, they are interesting, we should be interested about doing

:13:57. > :14:01.something about them and inquiring why some are doing better than

:14:01. > :14:06.others but it does not represent all of what a school does. I think

:14:06. > :14:10.to a large extent, they will be seen as a confusing. This afternoon,

:14:10. > :14:13.the Education Minister was part of a debate on banding. He says the

:14:13. > :14:17.system is necessary to identify schools which need the most help to

:14:17. > :14:20.improve but insists they are not league tables or a means of naming

:14:20. > :14:24.and shaming weaker schools. Schools in the top bands will be expected

:14:24. > :14:29.to share their success. Local authorities will have to provide

:14:29. > :14:39.support to the schools that need it most. The bands will be updated

:14:39. > :14:47.

:14:47. > :14:50.every year. You can seek full A coroner has warned of the dangers

:14:50. > :14:55.of carbon monoxide poisoning after a holidaymaker died from fumes

:14:55. > :15:00.given off by a barbeque. Tracy Screen from Derbyshire was at a

:15:00. > :15:05.campsite in Gwynedd with her family when she died last August. A

:15:05. > :15:08.smouldering barbeque had been stored inside their tent.

:15:08. > :15:12.Tracy Screen was staying at the Aberafon campsite at Gyrn Goch near

:15:12. > :15:15.Caernarfon with her husband Benjamin and two young children.

:15:15. > :15:19.The family from Chesterfield were spending their second night in a

:15:19. > :15:23.large tent. Benjamin Screen brought the portable barbeque inside the

:15:23. > :15:25.main living area believing it had stopped smouldering. But the

:15:26. > :15:35.cooling charcoal released carbon monoxide which affected all four

:15:36. > :15:36.

:15:36. > :15:42.family members. He described getting up to use the bathroom and

:15:42. > :15:50.collapsing. He eventually dialled 999 on his mobile phone but was

:15:50. > :15:54.disorientated. He called for help from other campsite unit -- users.

:15:54. > :16:01.They took the children to safety but found Mrs Screen had died.

:16:01. > :16:08.would like to thank everyone for their support. For everyone who

:16:08. > :16:18.knew Tracey, there will be a huge hole in their lives. We love her. I

:16:18. > :16:20.am sorry. Coroner Dewi Pritchard Jones recorded a verdict of

:16:21. > :16:24.accidental death and stressed that people should take extra safety

:16:24. > :16:28.precautions when staying on campsite. The combustion process,

:16:28. > :16:33.the amount of carbon monoxide that is given off is significantly more

:16:33. > :16:36.from which burns efficiently. tragedy at Aberafon wasn't the only

:16:36. > :16:39.campsite fatality in North Wales in the past year and the coroner urged

:16:39. > :16:41.people to consult a safety leaflet produced by the fire and rescue

:16:41. > :16:43.service. The UK Health Secretary, Andrew

:16:43. > :16:46.Lansley, says the Welsh Government's policy on breast

:16:46. > :16:49.implants runs the risk of letting the private providers off the hook.

:16:49. > :16:52.Yesterday the Welsh Government said private patients here could have

:16:52. > :16:54.faulty implants replaced. The NHS in England will remove but won't

:16:54. > :16:58.replace faulty implants from private patients there, if the

:16:58. > :17:00.companies involved won't. But it'll recover the costs from the

:17:00. > :17:04.companies. Friends and serving soldiers paid

:17:04. > :17:07.heartfelt tributes at the funeral of Lance Sergeant Dan Collins today.

:17:07. > :17:12.Around 300 mourners filled the service while more stood outside St

:17:12. > :17:15.Mary's Church in Cardigan. The 29- year-old was found hanged on New

:17:15. > :17:19.Year's Day in a Pembrokeshire quarry. He had been suffering with

:17:19. > :17:21.post traumatic stress disorder after serving in Afghanistan.

:17:21. > :17:28.One of the candidates standing in the Plaid Cymru leadership contest

:17:28. > :17:30.has attacked his party's strategy at the Assembly elections last May.

:17:31. > :17:35.They lost three seats and shortly afterwards Ieuan Wyn Jones

:17:35. > :17:44.announced he'd stand down as leader. Lord Dafydd Elis-Thomas says the

:17:44. > :17:51.campaign focused too heavily on criticising other parties. I would

:17:51. > :17:56.have thought the election campaign would have been about, look what we

:17:56. > :18:00.have achieved and we will do more but that did not happen. We had

:18:01. > :18:04.totally unproductive attack on the Labour Party. There are calls

:18:04. > :18:07.tonight for better ambulance provision in Monmouth. It comes a

:18:07. > :18:11.year after a mother died days after waiting more than 40 minutes for a

:18:11. > :18:14.paramedic. Matthew Davies says his mother would be alive today if the

:18:14. > :18:17.ambulance had arrived on time. He's organised a meeting tonight to

:18:17. > :18:19.discuss concerns over the ambulance service. Tomos Dafydd reports.

:18:19. > :18:22.Exactly a year ago today, Jacqueline Davies was having

:18:22. > :18:24.trouble breathing. Her sister dialled 999. The call had been

:18:24. > :18:28.classed as immediately life threatening, meaning a paramedic

:18:29. > :18:37.should've been with her in 8 minutes. But no help arrived for

:18:37. > :18:42.almost three quarters of an hour. Anyone with common sense looking at

:18:42. > :18:49.the case would deduce that she would be alive today if they had

:18:49. > :18:53.been there within half-an-hour of the initial phone-call. Monmouth is

:18:53. > :18:57.served by one of these, a rapid response vehicle. It cannot take

:18:57. > :19:02.patients to hospital but it can get to them quicker. But on January

:19:02. > :19:04.11th last year, the duty paramedic was on a training course. When the

:19:04. > :19:07.late shift started that day, the vehicle wouldn't start because the

:19:07. > :19:10.car battery wasn't charged. It was only then that West Midlands

:19:10. > :19:13.Ambulance Service were asked for help. Eventually a paramedic

:19:13. > :19:17.arrived at Mrs Davies' home, followed by an ambulance. She was

:19:17. > :19:20.unconscious. She died in hospital nine days later. The coroner said

:19:20. > :19:30.there was a significant failing of the Trust and the delay could have

:19:30. > :19:39.contributed to her death. We have changed things considerably in the

:19:39. > :19:43.last month or so in the region and by February, you will see high

:19:43. > :19:48.dependency Service crew available seven days a week. That will reduce

:19:48. > :19:55.pressure on ambulance resources in the area, dealing with a lot of the

:19:55. > :20:04.transfers. A year since losing his mother, Matthew Davies says

:20:04. > :20:07.fundamental improvements are needed to the town's ambulance service.

:20:07. > :20:12.There are 800 houses planned for Monmouth. This will add pressure on

:20:12. > :20:17.at the service. His local MP has taken up his case and has met with

:20:17. > :20:20.the Ambulance Trust. Tonight, Matthew Davies will raise his

:20:20. > :20:21.concerns at a public meeting, hoping for support for his campaign

:20:21. > :20:24.to improve the town's Ambulance Service.

:20:24. > :20:27.Sport now, and Mark Hughes says he's returned to top flight

:20:27. > :20:30.management because QPR's ambition matches his own. The former Wales

:20:30. > :20:33.boss has signed a two and half year contract with the Premier league

:20:33. > :20:36.club, seven months after walking out on Fulham. Hughes says this was

:20:36. > :20:45.the right opportunity for him and he's happy to shoulder the

:20:45. > :20:51.expectation that comes with the job. Some managers feel it is better to

:20:51. > :20:58.lower expectations but I have never the mark. I have always walked

:20:58. > :21:01.hand-in-hand with expectation. Fans want to be excited by what is

:21:02. > :21:05.happening at their football club. Cardiff City will have to turn

:21:05. > :21:08.around a 1-0 deficit in order to reach the Carling Cup Final after

:21:08. > :21:11.losing at Crystal Palace last night. The Bluebirds did get the ball in

:21:11. > :21:17.the back of the net, but it was disallowed by the referee. Claire

:21:17. > :21:21.Summers reports. It his advantage Crystal Palace but Cardiff feel

:21:21. > :21:26.they will be able to settle the score at home. Last night, the home

:21:26. > :21:30.side got the breakthrough just two minutes before half-time. A free-

:21:30. > :21:36.kick into the Cardiff box should have been the goalkeeper's ball but

:21:36. > :21:39.Gardner was able to slot it into the open neck. The slim pickings

:21:39. > :21:43.looked almost fruitful when Kenny Miller scored from this corner,

:21:43. > :21:48.only for the referee to dismiss it. A decision which in the manager's

:21:49. > :21:52.mind was the wrong one. I have looked at it again and again and it

:21:52. > :21:59.is bemusing. The only reason I can find is the referee things he has

:21:59. > :22:04.made a mistake in giving the corner. None of the players are anywhere

:22:04. > :22:10.near the goalkeeper. That is what he suggested the file was four. But

:22:10. > :22:14.it is all to play for at Cardiff City Stadium. The second leg will

:22:14. > :22:18.be one that Cardiff will fancy. They hold the second best home

:22:18. > :22:24.record in the championship. We could also know by then be set up

:22:24. > :22:28.of the new Wales management team. Some bookies have Chris Coleman as

:22:28. > :22:32.the favourite to take the job. He has returned home from holiday to

:22:32. > :22:35.the UK today. Llanelli Scarlets number eight Ben Morgan has picked

:22:35. > :22:37.by England for next month's Six Nations tournament. The 22-year-old

:22:37. > :22:40.forward, who's originally from Bristol, recently qualified for

:22:40. > :22:44.Wales on residency grounds, but has opted instead to play for the

:22:44. > :22:49.country of his birth. The mild weather we've been having

:22:49. > :22:52.for the past few weeks has been having quite an impact on plants. A

:22:52. > :22:55.study in Cardiff has revealed that 63 species of wild flowers are in

:22:55. > :23:04.bloom. That's more than double the average number for this time of

:23:04. > :23:07.year. Sian Lloyd has more. Clues to this winter's and

:23:07. > :23:11.unseasonably warm weather are springing up in the most unlikely

:23:11. > :23:21.places. This busy roundabout in Cardiff is home to several species

:23:21. > :23:21.

:23:21. > :23:24.of wild flower. This is the command... Experts have recorded 63

:23:25. > :23:30.varieties flowing around the Welsh capital, more than double the

:23:30. > :23:35.average for this and of year. would expect five or 10, or even 20.

:23:35. > :23:40.But this year, a lot of these have continued flowering right through

:23:40. > :23:44.until January. It is exceptional. Scraps of waste and like this

:23:44. > :23:54.provide a natural habitat for many wild flowers but it is unusual to

:23:54. > :23:56.

:23:56. > :23:59.see red clover in bloom in January. At the National Botanic Garden in

:23:59. > :24:05.Carmarthenshire, horticulturalists have been looking into how it

:24:05. > :24:10.happens. We have mad fluctuations of climate, extremely cold winters,

:24:10. > :24:14.extremely wet springs, all sorts of things are happening. It used to

:24:14. > :24:19.happen once in 10 or 15 years, we would get an odd year but we are

:24:19. > :24:23.seeing this every couple of years now. It is not just wild flowers

:24:24. > :24:28.that are affected. Gardeners are reporting changes. The Actual

:24:28. > :24:35.flowering itself is not concerning. We are telling gardeners to enjoy

:24:35. > :24:40.them while they last but what is worrying is we have also got

:24:40. > :24:46.reports of leaf buds swelling. If a lot of plants come out in to leave

:24:46. > :24:50.at this time of year, they could be in for a shot back -- shock if

:24:50. > :24:58.there is a frost. There is also be cultivated species like these

:24:58. > :25:03.winter bedding plants to enjoy. I think the flowers are in for a

:25:03. > :25:06.shock. There is a change on the way. Temperatures today reached 13

:25:06. > :25:11.Celsius in Wrexham. Six degrees above average, but it's going to

:25:11. > :25:18.turn colder. Temperatures on Friday will be closer to 6 or 7 Celsius

:25:18. > :25:22.with some frost and sunshine. Tonight some dry weather. A few

:25:22. > :25:27.breaks in the cloud. However drizzle and light rain will become

:25:27. > :25:30.more widespread overnight. Some mist and hill fog as well. The wind

:25:30. > :25:33.picking up with lowest temperatures 8 Celsius. Tomorrow's chart shows

:25:33. > :25:43.high pressure over the Bay of Biscay with a cold front moving

:25:43. > :25:44.

:25:44. > :25:46.south across the UK. That will bring a little rain followed by

:25:46. > :25:55.much clearer, colder air. So tomorrow will start very much like

:25:55. > :26:00.recent days. Dull and damp for some with drizzle. A combination of mist

:26:00. > :26:05.and drizzle. Light rain in Gwynedd and hill fog as well. Temperatures

:26:05. > :26:09.in Bala 10 Celsius and breezier than today. So plenty of cloud

:26:09. > :26:13.tomorrow. A little rain and drizzle spreading south but in the north it

:26:13. > :26:16.should dry and brighten up during the afternoon. Another mild day.

:26:16. > :26:21.Top temperatures around 10 or 11 Celsius but temperatures will drop

:26:22. > :26:25.by a few degrees in the north. The wind gradually easing. Tomorrow

:26:25. > :26:28.night dry and with clearer skies a colder night. A few mist and fog

:26:28. > :26:33.patches forming and some frost as well. Friday's chart shows high

:26:33. > :26:39.pressure over us and that means dry and settled weather. Friday, a nice

:26:39. > :26:42.day. A cold start. Some frost. A few mist and fog patches as well.

:26:42. > :26:46.These will slowly lift with most of the country enjoying sunshine.

:26:46. > :26:50.Temperatures rising to average with light winds. As for the weekend,

:26:50. > :26:54.generally dry. Some sunshine, frost and a few fog patches. A chilly

:26:54. > :26:57.breeze picking up on Sunday. Next week may start dry but it looks

:26:57. > :27:01.like turning more unsettled and windier by the end of Wednesday.

:27:01. > :27:11.There is a hint of cold weather later in the month.

:27:11. > :27:11.

:27:11. > :27:16.Our picture tonight is from John Jones. If you're fed up with the

:27:16. > :27:26.cloudy weather. There is a change on the way. It will be much clearer

:27:26. > :27:29.

:27:29. > :27:34.and colder by Friday with some Tonight's headlines from the BBC,
