:00:07. > :00:11.The welcome to Wales Today. Tonight's top story: Jailed for

:00:11. > :00:21.five years, what -- Wales footballer Ched Evans guilty of

:00:21. > :00:29.

:00:29. > :00:34.rape. A career in tatters, will he Also tonight, Wales will get more

:00:34. > :00:38.money for Europe from it -- for its poorest areas despite criticism of

:00:38. > :00:42.how has been spent the 4th. Labour leader Ed Miliband on the local

:00:42. > :00:46.election campaign. He says they won't make the same mistakes as

:00:47. > :00:51.before. And half the railway stations here are failing to meet

:00:51. > :00:55.government standards for disabled access. Calls from people like

:00:55. > :00:57.Simon Green for change. In tonight's sport, it is Shane

:00:58. > :01:01.Williams's official farewell tonight but the Ospreys are out to

:01:01. > :01:06.make sure he is back in three weeks' time from home play-off.

:01:06. > :01:15.And more of this would do the trick. Cardiff City aim to seal their

:01:15. > :01:18.I good evening. The Wales and Sheffield United footballer Ched

:01:18. > :01:23.Evans has been jailed for five years after being found guilty of

:01:23. > :01:27.rape. In a highly dramatic end to war week-long trial, his co-

:01:27. > :01:31.defendant, Port Vale player Clayton Macdonald, was cleared of the same

:01:31. > :01:36.charge after an incident at a hotel in Denbighshire last May. Aled

:01:36. > :01:40.Hughes is at Caernarfon Crown Court tonight. Allott.

:01:40. > :01:44.Well, Lucy, highly charged emotional scenes in the caught

:01:44. > :01:47.behind me here this afternoon and the story is the tragic mix-up the

:01:48. > :01:53.young woman, too much alcohol, a successful footballer, and a case

:01:53. > :01:57.with no winners. Ched Evans has had his best

:01:57. > :02:00.professional career to date this season, scoring 35 goals for

:02:00. > :02:06.Sheffield United. It all came crashing down shortly after 3pm

:02:06. > :02:09.this afternoon. Evans's family left court knowing he has a cupboard --

:02:09. > :02:12.convicted rapist, a decision the jury made in just under five hours,

:02:12. > :02:16.which left Evans sobbing uncontrollably in the dock, and

:02:16. > :02:21.that his family beyond themselves. His co-defendant, Port Vale

:02:21. > :02:26.defender Clayton Macdonald, left the court of three -- a free man 11

:02:26. > :02:29.months after night out in Rhyl that changed lives forever. There were

:02:29. > :02:33.dramatic scenes when the jury returned with the verdict. Ched

:02:33. > :02:37.Evans's family had to learn to walk -- wait to learn his fate while

:02:37. > :02:40.Clayton Macdonald's family's elations build over when they heard

:02:40. > :02:44.the verdict. The jury heard how the woman and defendants had been

:02:44. > :02:48.drinking at this club until her leap on the morning of May 30th

:02:48. > :02:51.last year, but it is what happened afterwards is central to the

:02:51. > :02:56.decision of the jury. Clayton Macdonald took a taxi with the

:02:56. > :02:59.woman to win 14 of this hotel near by. Firstly he saw associates of

:02:59. > :03:02.Ched Evans trying to film him through the window before realising

:03:02. > :03:07.Evans had come into the room. The prosecution said Ched Evans used

:03:07. > :03:11.the woman for his own gratification, that she was so intoxicated she

:03:11. > :03:15.couldn't have possibly consented. Ched Evans claimed he wouldn't have

:03:15. > :03:18.put himself in that situation, but his looks and the fact he was a

:03:18. > :03:23.footballer meant he had a peak of women, but the jury didn't believe

:03:23. > :03:26.him. -- the pick of women. The police say they hope the guilty

:03:26. > :03:30.verdict will provide closure on this horrendous ordeal and she will

:03:30. > :03:34.be able to rebuild her life, adding that no one is above the law. The

:03:34. > :03:37.Crown Prosecution Service also said it is a myth that being vulnerable

:03:37. > :03:41.to alcohol consumption means a victim is somehow responsible for

:03:41. > :03:46.being raped. The law is clear, being vulnerable through drink or

:03:46. > :03:50.drugs does not imply consent, they said. The judge told 23-year-old

:03:50. > :03:54.Evans he had thrown away a successful and promising career.

:03:55. > :03:59.Tonight he is beginning a five-year sentence.

:03:59. > :04:03.Well, Lucy, we have received a statement from Ched Evans's Blair

:04:03. > :04:07.this evening would says his client is in shock and still protesting

:04:07. > :04:11.his innocence -- Ched Evans's lawyer. It is confirmed they are

:04:11. > :04:15.considering an appeal. But his latest we have this evening on this

:04:15. > :04:20.extraordinary court case. Aled Hughes, thank you.

:04:20. > :04:23.A top European official has told BBC Wales he is sure some of our

:04:23. > :04:26.poorest areas will qualify for another round of European funding.

:04:26. > :04:30.But Johannes Hahn, European Commissioner for Regional Policy,

:04:30. > :04:34.says in future there should be fewer projects receiving aid money,

:04:34. > :04:38.and they will have to be quantifiable results. And Wyn Jones

:04:38. > :04:41.has more. Over the last decade, the poorest

:04:41. > :04:45.parts of Wales have received billions of pounds of European aid

:04:45. > :04:50.money designed to pull them out of poverty. These pupils are seeing

:04:50. > :04:54.the benefits of that money. In this case, paying for their computers.

:04:54. > :04:58.And this is the man who in effect decides how much money is spent and

:04:58. > :05:02.what should be done with it. We have already had two rounds of

:05:02. > :05:07.funding, and today we have been told that Wales will qualify for a

:05:07. > :05:15.third round. If all this investment, which has been launched, which is

:05:15. > :05:20.not yet finished, is finished, I think the impact, the positive

:05:20. > :05:23.impact will be felt. But after 10 years of European aid money, many

:05:23. > :05:30.are asking why Wales hasn't seen the improvements which were

:05:30. > :05:34.originally promised. We have seen investments up and round -- up and

:05:34. > :05:38.down Wales which I hope we will qualify for this time as a final

:05:38. > :05:42.qualification for European funding of this sort. And this is the kind

:05:42. > :05:45.of company he is talking about. Tidal energy have been working on

:05:45. > :05:51.it to her account -- turbine which sits on the ocean for using tidal

:05:51. > :05:55.energy to create electricity. have been supported with 6.4

:05:55. > :05:58.million and the total cost of the project is 12 million. It is

:05:58. > :06:02.research and development and a high risk investment with massive

:06:02. > :06:06.opportunity for great potential. is those jobs which were meant to

:06:06. > :06:10.propel Wales's economy, but that hasn't really happened. Wales

:06:10. > :06:14.receiving this third round at European aid money is a double-

:06:14. > :06:18.edged sword. It does mean that companies like this will continue

:06:18. > :06:22.to receive European aid money but it also means that parts of Wales

:06:22. > :06:26.are among the poorest regions not only in the UK but also in the

:06:26. > :06:31.whole of the year. And according to recent figures, we

:06:31. > :06:34.could be getting relatively poorer. Back in 1999, when Wales started

:06:34. > :06:39.receiving European money, Wales's wealth was just over three-quarters

:06:39. > :06:44.of the EU average. That has improved slightly to begin with,

:06:44. > :06:48.but then steadily declined, and the latest figures for 2009 show only a

:06:48. > :06:51.10 per cent fall -- Medea 10 per cent fall over 10 years. The Labour

:06:51. > :06:54.government themselves has had in the past we shouldn't be receiving

:06:54. > :06:58.money in the future at this present. Because it should have been spent

:06:59. > :07:02.on creating business and enterprise in the way that we wouldn't need

:07:02. > :07:06.these handouts. There have clearly been benefits from the European

:07:06. > :07:11.money, but qualifying for another round debate does mean it hasn't

:07:11. > :07:14.had the desired effect, to try to pull Wales out of its relative

:07:14. > :07:18.poverty. The Labour party has learnt from

:07:18. > :07:22.mistakes at the local elections four years ago according to the

:07:22. > :07:26.party leader Ed Miliband. He is the latest leader to hit the campaign

:07:26. > :07:29.ahead of next month's council elections. He was in Merthyr Tydfil

:07:29. > :07:32.promising to win back some of Labour's lost support. Tomos

:07:32. > :07:36.Livingstone spoke to him and began by asking whether this was an

:07:36. > :07:40.election about what was going on in Westminster or more about local

:07:40. > :07:45.issues around Wales. I think this is a chance for people

:07:45. > :07:49.to elect could Labour councils and Labour councillors here in Wales,

:07:49. > :07:52.and that is very important, but it is also in the context of a

:07:52. > :07:56.government at Westminster that is cutting taxes for millionaires and

:07:56. > :08:00.raising taxes for millions of people, and what you have got his

:08:00. > :08:03.Labour councils, Labour councillors, seeking to fight against that,

:08:03. > :08:07.making a difference to people's living standards, helping people

:08:07. > :08:10.with local services, so what is Labour on people's side into of

:08:10. > :08:14.sight -- at times when you have George Osborne, David Cameron, Nick

:08:14. > :08:16.Clegg, who are way out of touch with the British people and

:08:16. > :08:21.bringing about an unfair budget making life harder for people here

:08:21. > :08:24.in Wales, so obviously, what is happening nationally is part of the

:08:25. > :08:27.context of these elections but we also proud of our labour

:08:27. > :08:31.councillors and councils and proud to be fighting on their record and

:08:31. > :08:35.what they want to do for people in Wales. Unemployment figures this

:08:35. > :08:39.week show another rise in Welsh unemployment. What can you offer

:08:39. > :08:42.people in an area like Merthyr Tydfil to try and find work?

:08:42. > :08:50.Catherine Jones as Welsh First Minister is obviously making a

:08:50. > :08:53.difference -- Carwyn Jones. 4000 opportunities for people on a new

:08:53. > :08:59.scheme, but we need a government in Westminster also fighting for jobs,

:08:59. > :09:02.not losing them, and the problem is, for young people here, if I was

:09:02. > :09:05.Prime Minister, I would be taxing bank as bonuses and using that

:09:05. > :09:09.money to guarantee jobs far I young person, for every young person

:09:09. > :09:13.unemployed for more than a year. That is the difference with Labour,

:09:13. > :09:15.we're with the plight of times and what we have in Westminster is an

:09:15. > :09:18.out-of-touch government which doesn't understand the needs of the

:09:18. > :09:23.people of Wales. Four years ago Labour performed badly on the back

:09:23. > :09:27.of the 10 per week -- 10 p tax row and lost councils in Wales. What

:09:27. > :09:30.has changed this time, why should people support Labour? The Labour

:09:30. > :09:33.Party is on people's side in these tough times. No one is denying

:09:33. > :09:39.times are tough and the rot of decisions to be made, but the

:09:39. > :09:42.question is, -- the tough decisions to be made, do you have a

:09:42. > :09:46.government that understands the needs of people all wants to cut

:09:46. > :09:48.taxes for the richest people in society? Lots had been revealed

:09:49. > :09:53.about where this Westminster government stance in the last few

:09:53. > :09:55.weeks. The idea that in a time when young people are struggling, when

:09:55. > :09:59.middle-class families are struggling and low-income families

:09:59. > :10:03.are struggling, people right across Wales are struggling, the idea is

:10:03. > :10:06.that the priority to give a 40,000 tax cut to millionaires tells you

:10:06. > :10:10.all you need to know about this government and the difference

:10:10. > :10:13.between them and Labour, which is on people's side in tough times.

:10:13. > :10:18.You are campaigning here with a slogan to get the vote out. Is that

:10:18. > :10:22.a tacit admission perhaps that you haven't done enough to enthuse --

:10:22. > :10:25.enthuse National supporters to the ballot box? The we want as many

:10:25. > :10:28.people to turn out as possible in his local election because he

:10:28. > :10:32.wanted that could Labour councils and councillors and send a message

:10:32. > :10:35.to Westminster -- one to elect Labour councils. About where

:10:35. > :10:39.they're out of touch with people in Wales. I know what a good reaction

:10:39. > :10:41.we have had on the doorsteps in Wales and I am looking forward to

:10:41. > :10:44.meeting lots of people in Wales and taking Labour's message to them

:10:45. > :10:47.about how Labour can be on their side and make their lives better in

:10:47. > :10:50.tough times. South Wales Police are

:10:50. > :10:54.investigating a complaint that a Labour candidate standing for the

:10:54. > :10:58.Splott ward in Cardiff Council elections give a false address on

:10:58. > :11:01.his registration form. Luke Holland, who heads the Labour's media team

:11:01. > :11:05.in Wales lives in a neighbouring ward, but says he is in the process

:11:05. > :11:10.of buying a house in Splott, and accuses Liberal Democrat opponents

:11:10. > :11:12.of smear tactics. The funeral has been held of a

:11:12. > :11:18.mother and son found killed at their home in Gwynedd earlier this

:11:18. > :11:23.month. 34-year-old Suzanne Jones and two-year-old William it hit a

:11:23. > :11:26.Madoc. Suzanne Jones's husband has been charged with their murders. --

:11:26. > :11:29.lived in trim a book. There are concerns that the new 5

:11:29. > :11:33.and 10 pence coins made at the Royal Mint and Llantrisant could

:11:34. > :11:38.cause skin problems for some people including those with Exmoor. The

:11:38. > :11:41.coins are made from steel plate in nickel and dermatologists be it

:11:41. > :11:46.could cause problems for those with Nicola Aled Hughes. The Royal Mint

:11:46. > :11:51.denies the change would have adverse impacts. -- those with

:11:51. > :11:54.nickel allergies. Still to come: How a West Wales village is

:11:54. > :12:02.celebrating 100 years since Dennis Corbett Wilson made the first

:12:02. > :12:05.flight across the I receive. -- I receive.

:12:05. > :12:08.Half the railway stations in Wales and many bus services are still

:12:08. > :12:12.failing to meet government standards on accessibility for

:12:12. > :12:16.disabled people, so today, a conference gave them the chance to

:12:16. > :12:20.voice their frustrations to the bosses of the Trans but companies.

:12:20. > :12:24.Matt Murray reports. -- transport companies.

:12:24. > :12:28.For Andrew Jones, getting from A to B takes planning. He has cerebral

:12:28. > :12:32.palsy and is reliant on specially adapted vehicles like this one. His

:12:32. > :12:37.wheelchair is too large and heavy for Ms public transport, so he

:12:37. > :12:41.needs taxis to get around. It is not just costly but also unreliable.

:12:41. > :12:49.Recently his grandmother was ill in hospital and when he tried ringing

:12:49. > :12:55.for a suitable cab, none was available. I wanted to visit my nan,

:12:55. > :13:01.and I couldn't, because there wasn't a suitable taxi for me. And

:13:01. > :13:08.I had to give 24 hours' notice. how much of an inconvenience was

:13:08. > :13:12.that for you and your nan? It was a lot, because of the time, she was

:13:12. > :13:15.in hospital. Andrew arrived at this conference looking to address the

:13:15. > :13:19.practical problems that he and other artists -- disabled people

:13:19. > :13:22.face regularly. Representatives from local bus, train and taxi

:13:22. > :13:26.companies were there to see how things could be made better.

:13:27. > :13:29.Today's event was organised by Simon Green, who has seen vast

:13:29. > :13:34.improvements access in public transport, but still feels much

:13:34. > :13:38.more needs to be done. You know, it is 2012, every disabled person like

:13:38. > :13:42.every non-disabled person should be able to catch a bus, train or taxi

:13:42. > :13:47.wherever they like. Things have got better and a much better than when

:13:47. > :13:51.I first started using a wheelchair, but they can certainly improve.

:13:51. > :13:55.nearly 250 railway stations in Wales -- of nearly 250, only half

:13:55. > :13:59.meet the standards required by the Disability discrimination Act.

:13:59. > :14:02.are working very hard to make them as accessible as possible. We are

:14:02. > :14:07.investing money of Our Rome, the Welsh Government, we are working

:14:07. > :14:10.with them and network Rail, to make sure we secured funding needed to

:14:10. > :14:16.make a stations accessible. And it is not just the trains but also the

:14:16. > :14:19.buses. 50 per cent of first Cymru's vehicles fail to meet government

:14:19. > :14:23.standards on accessibility. They have a timetable of two years to

:14:23. > :14:29.make all their fleets suitable, but for Andrew and others, the changes

:14:29. > :14:33.Football - Cardiff City are hoping to guarantee their place in the

:14:33. > :14:36.Championship play-offs tomorrow. They need a win against Leeds to be

:14:36. > :14:38.sure of extending their season. They'd like to join Swansea City in

:14:39. > :14:44.the Premier League. The Swans will mathematically ensure their top

:14:44. > :14:48.flight status if they beat strugglers, Bolton.

:14:48. > :14:52.They are virtually their, relegation is just a mathematical

:14:52. > :14:55.possibility for Swansea. If they beat Bolton for the second time

:14:55. > :15:00.this season and preserve their Premier League status, Brendan

:15:00. > :15:06.Rodgers's side were not be taking it easy. With 800,000 prize money

:15:06. > :15:12.for every place they can climb, they will fight every point.

:15:12. > :15:17.finances involved is incredible. Every place counts for Ilott. That

:15:17. > :15:23.extra place could go for an extra player. Cardiff have agreed new

:15:23. > :15:28.contracts with Joe Mason. They hope to be moving to the Premier League

:15:28. > :15:33.next season. The Bluebirds are in great form. They need one more win

:15:33. > :15:37.to reach the play-offs for the third successive year. They are

:15:37. > :15:44.four point clear of Middlesbrough be two games to play. They want to

:15:44. > :15:49.keep their momentum going. I don't think anybody wants to lead over

:15:49. > :15:54.the line. We want to get over the line first. Let's concentrate on

:15:54. > :15:58.winning against Leeds. Wrexham and savour the Conference play-offs and

:15:58. > :16:03.Arab later Mansfield tonight. Newport County who have done enough

:16:03. > :16:08.to stay up and away tomorrow. The world's premier race will be

:16:08. > :16:12.decided on Saturday. The New Saints host Bangor City who trailed them

:16:12. > :16:17.by just two points. The winner would guarantee themselves Champion

:16:17. > :16:25.League football next season. It is the most important thing. It pushes

:16:25. > :16:30.the club on. To win it back to backward be a great achievement. We

:16:30. > :16:39.are not full-time, we are not big players, his tears the amount of

:16:39. > :16:42.heart in our team. -- it is. This year, it will go right to the wire

:16:42. > :16:45.again. Rugby - Wales and Blues wing, Alex

:16:46. > :16:49.Cuthbert, could be on his way to France. There are reports today

:16:49. > :16:51.that the 21-year-old has been lured away from the Blues to join big

:16:52. > :16:54.spenders Toulon. The Welsh region are in talks with former Scarlets

:16:55. > :16:58.head coach, Phil Davies, to become their next director of rugby. He's

:16:58. > :17:01.currently working at Worcester. The Blues play Edinburgh on Sunday. The

:17:01. > :17:04.Scarlets play Munster tomorrow, still in the hunt for a play-off

:17:04. > :17:08.place while the Ospreys are bidding to hang on to a home play-off place

:17:08. > :17:12.as they host the Dragons tonight in the penultimate round of the PRO12.

:17:12. > :17:14.It is also a chance for fans to bid farewell to Shane Williams on their

:17:15. > :17:20.home patch although the former Wales star could feature again in

:17:20. > :17:26.those play-offs. The game is live a Scrum V live tonight and a little

:17:26. > :17:30.earlier were caught up with presenter, Ross Harries.

:17:30. > :17:38.It is going to be a big occasion, an emotional occasion at the

:17:38. > :17:42.Liberty Stadium. They are expecting the biggest crowd of the season.

:17:42. > :17:46.They're giving Shane Williams a winning send-off. Joining me his

:17:46. > :17:56.Kingsley Jones. They are expecting a season's best crowd. It would be

:17:56. > :17:58.

:17:58. > :18:01.fitting. I can see it being a great occasion tonight. It will be great

:18:01. > :18:06.to see sailors on the scoreboard. The Ospreys are in pole position to

:18:06. > :18:09.get his home semi-final with two games left. They could be

:18:09. > :18:15.guaranteed a home semi-final here. The Dragons have been tough

:18:15. > :18:20.opponents. They have. They have had a poor couple of weeks, the Dragons,

:18:20. > :18:25.but the last three occasions they had beaten the Ospreys. You would

:18:25. > :18:32.have to say with the Ospreys form of late, Dan Biggar particularly,

:18:32. > :18:41.they are playing well. There is a buzz about the Ospreys. Also a bit

:18:41. > :18:45.of an intriguing roll-call, it could be a humdinger. I am looking

:18:45. > :18:48.forward to that. They are looking to putting their hand up for their

:19:02. > :19:07.yours among them. To be honest you would have to say that it would

:19:07. > :19:11.appeal to any coach, particularly a Welshman. There are Rolly four

:19:11. > :19:17.regions and just like that are few and far between. -- that there are

:19:17. > :19:21.only four regions. It is a stepping stone to the national team. I am

:19:21. > :19:27.negotiating a new contract with Russia. I am very happy with them.

:19:27. > :19:31.That is where I am at at the moment. It is such a great region. It will

:19:31. > :19:35.be interesting for any coach. Many thanks. We will be watching the

:19:36. > :19:41.game later on. We are on air at 7 o'clock on BBC Two Wales just after

:19:41. > :19:44.Wales Today. Switch-over to see Shane Williams's last game for the

:19:47. > :19:50.showers and wickets on day two of Glamorgan's County Championship at

:19:50. > :19:54.home to Hampshire. The visitors passed Glamorgan's declared total

:20:08. > :20:11.Championship in Sheffield, two-time winner Mark Williams has today

:20:12. > :20:14.caused a bit of a stir. The 37- year-old has criticised the

:20:14. > :20:19.Crucible venue on Twitter stating he hopes the tournament would move

:20:19. > :20:23.to China. He has since apologised for his bad language but added the

:20:31. > :20:36.This weekend marks a hundred years since the first successful flight

:20:40. > :20:44.who eventually took off from the town of Goodwick near Fishguard. He

:21:03. > :21:11.that is what he his since writing the name of Goodwick in the

:21:11. > :21:13.aviation history books. Much of the research was carried out by Ken

:21:14. > :21:16.Williams who began looking into Wilson's journey after coming

:21:16. > :21:25.across this picture of his Bleriot X1 arriving in Pembrokeshire on its

:21:25. > :21:33.way to Ireland. It is a large event. There is no

:21:33. > :21:38.question about that. It is history and it is local history. Yes, I

:21:38. > :21:43.think it is a good thing. I hope that children will know the gist of

:21:43. > :21:46.the story soon. It was from this field at a quarter to six on the

:21:46. > :21:50.morning of 22nd April 1912 that Denys Corbett Wilson set off on his

:21:50. > :21:56.historic flight across the Irish Sea. He landed on the south-east

:21:56. > :21:58.coast of Ireland an hour and 40 minutes later. Wilson had intended

:21:58. > :22:02.to set off from Holyhead alongside another pilot, Damer Leslie Allen,

:22:02. > :22:10.but he go lost on his way to Anglesey and ended up in

:22:24. > :22:25.

:22:25. > :22:28.particular places. They were governed by the weather. We are

:22:28. > :22:38.Corbett Wilson's story has inspired a play which will be performed in

:22:38. > :22:40.

:22:40. > :22:50.Fishguard tomorrow and in Wexford next week. It is extort it is

:23:04. > :23:07.deserves. I am not sure that Derek would have been wanting to take to

:23:18. > :23:21.it will be better for the weekend I am RHS Show in Cardiff. It is the

:23:21. > :23:26.place to come if you want to pick up a few tips for your garden or

:23:26. > :23:30.allotment. There is a lot to see and do here including these

:23:30. > :23:36.wheelbarrows. They have been put together by a local school --

:23:36. > :23:40.school children. This one is based on the Olympics. Take a look on

:23:40. > :23:44.that one. It is about to Wales winning the Grand Slam. They are

:23:44. > :23:49.taking on the French. Look at who is pushing a wheelbarrow, Sam

:23:49. > :23:53.Warburton. It is all quiet at the moment but if they are gearing up

:23:53. > :23:58.for a very busy weekend. It you remember last April which was

:23:58. > :24:03.gorgeous, it was the warmest April for a century in Wales. On this day

:24:03. > :24:08.last year, the temperatures soared to 23 degrees Celsius. We could

:24:08. > :24:12.only manage a 12 degree Celsius today. There is no sign of things

:24:12. > :24:17.warming up over the weekend. Some sunshine here this evening but

:24:17. > :24:23.there has been a few downpours. Even a bit of snow on the mountains.

:24:23. > :24:27.For the weekend it is a case of sunny intervals and April showers.

:24:27. > :24:32.For this evening, some sunshine around but a few showers around

:24:32. > :24:37.tonight. Most places drive with a few clear spells and it will turn

:24:37. > :24:41.chilly with lowest temperatures to degrees Celsius. Colder in rural

:24:41. > :24:46.spot with a touch of ground frost. Low-pressure sitting on Britain

:24:46. > :24:51.again tomorrow. That means more unstable air, towering clouds and

:24:51. > :24:55.showers. Tomorrow may start of dry with some sunshine but showers will

:24:55. > :24:59.breakout, spreading across the country and some of them heavy.

:24:59. > :25:05.Later in the afternoon, the showers should ease with some sunshine and

:25:05. > :25:10.the West. Top temperatures 10-12 degree Celsius with a westerly

:25:11. > :25:15.breeze. In Powys tomorrow, a dry start with some sunshine, showers

:25:15. > :25:21.by the afternoon. Temperatures in Knighton rising to in 10 or 11

:25:21. > :25:26.degrees Celsius. Tomorrow evening will be tried. Overnight, the

:25:30. > :25:36.Sunday will bring some sunshine but there will be some showers around.

:25:36. > :25:41.They could be heavy with hail and thunder. Temperatures similar to

:25:41. > :25:45.recent days. Next week, it is looking unsettled, more rain

:25:45. > :25:52.followed by a showers and blustery winds. The rest of April does look

:25:52. > :25:56.unsettled. Ellen settled start to may probably. The weather very hit-
