:00:04. > :00:06.Welcome to Wales Today. Our top story.

:00:06. > :00:09.The mental health advocate for Moors murderer Ian Brady is

:00:09. > :00:18.arrested at her home near Llanelli on suspicion of preventing a lawful

:00:18. > :00:28.burial. There was a lot of uniformed police officers and

:00:28. > :00:35.

:00:35. > :00:41.plain-clothed police officers. They Under pressure. Inappropriate 999

:00:41. > :00:44.calls are putting the NHS in Wales under strain.

:00:44. > :00:50.Two men are killed in a light aircraft crash. Investigations

:00:50. > :00:54.continue. New colours, new season. But will

:00:54. > :00:57.it be a new division for Cardiff City?

:00:57. > :01:07.Out with the rings and in with the Agitos, the Paralympians prepare

:01:07. > :01:12.for their time in the spotlight. know the Games are about to start

:01:12. > :01:17.and everything is getting ready. We are keen to get the competition

:01:17. > :01:20.Good evening. Police have questioned the Mental Health

:01:20. > :01:25.Advocate of Moors murderer Ian Brady over possible information

:01:25. > :01:27.which could reveal the location of one of his victims. Jackie Powell

:01:27. > :01:30.from Llangennech near Llanelli was interviewed by officers from the

:01:30. > :01:40.Greater Manchester force who are trying to find out where 12-year-

:01:40. > :01:41.

:01:41. > :01:44.old Keith Bennett was buried. He was one of five children killed by

:01:44. > :01:54.Brady and Myra Hindley between 1963 and 1965 and is the only one whose

:01:54. > :02:06.

:02:06. > :02:13.Jackie Powell leaving her home near Llanelli this morning. She was

:02:13. > :02:17.arrested on suspicion of preventing the lawful burial of a body. People

:02:17. > :02:23.saw the activity. There were uniformed police officers and

:02:23. > :02:30.plainclothes police officers. They were going in and out of the House

:02:30. > :02:36.frequently, bringing out a lot of things in evidence bags and boxes.

:02:36. > :02:40.The police were here for about 10 hours altogether. It is such a big

:02:40. > :02:47.case. To have on your doorstep is quite shocking. It is a close

:02:47. > :02:51.community. It is a decent area. It was quite surprising. Greater

:02:51. > :02:58.Manchester police are looking into the possibility that Ian Brady

:02:58. > :03:03.passed a letter to Jackie Powell revealing the application of one of

:03:03. > :03:13.his victims. Keith Bennett was abducted on his way to see his

:03:13. > :03:23.grandmother. Police are examining Jackie Powell Osborne Roberts

:03:23. > :03:43.

:03:43. > :03:53.Memorial Prize -- Jackie Powell's papers. Ian Brady had said he did

:03:53. > :03:55.

:03:55. > :03:58.not want to take secret to his grave. Police may search for the

:03:58. > :04:02.body once again thanks to this document.

:04:02. > :04:05.A woman who dialled 999 after being bitten on the finger by her hamster.

:04:05. > :04:08.Two separate calls for ambulances from men with hangovers. Just two

:04:08. > :04:11.examples of inappropriate 999 calls putting the NHS under strain. Today,

:04:11. > :04:13.Wales' Chief Medical Officer warned that such calls have meant Accident

:04:13. > :04:23.and Emergency Departments and the Ambulance Service have faced

:04:23. > :04:25.

:04:25. > :04:28.sustained and unusual demand over the summer. Paramedics and A&E

:04:28. > :04:30.staff deal with pressure every day, but the pressure on the ambulance

:04:30. > :04:36.service and emergency departments across the Welsh NHS has been

:04:36. > :04:39.bigger than expected this summer. According to Wales' most senior

:04:39. > :04:49.doctor, more and more people with minor problems are classing them as

:04:49. > :04:50.

:04:50. > :04:54.emergencies. The ambulance service trust has seen an increase over the

:04:54. > :04:57.last year. It cannot be explained by the population changing that

:04:57. > :05:00.quickly. The authorities claim part of the

:05:00. > :05:07.problem is the inappropriate use of the 999 system and they're urging

:05:07. > :05:13.people to seek alternatives. One woman called an ambulance

:05:13. > :05:19.complaining she had a hand wound and was bleeding badly. Paramedics

:05:19. > :05:23.found she had had a minor scratch from her account. Another man

:05:23. > :05:28.phoned complaining of stomach cramps. He was rushed to hospital

:05:28. > :05:31.where he ran off thanking paramedics for the lift. Another

:05:31. > :05:37.woman called the emergency services said she had been bitten on her

:05:37. > :05:43.finger by a hamster. The woman could have gone mental a minor

:05:43. > :05:47.injuries unit. If you need that level of care with a hangover

:05:47. > :05:53.courtier pharmacy. People should access alternatives rather than

:05:53. > :05:55.place unreasonable demands on Our most necessary agent's services.

:05:55. > :06:03.But opposition politicians believe it is underfunding that is putting

:06:03. > :06:06.the real pressure on the NHS in Wales. Hoax calls are something

:06:06. > :06:11.that need to be investigated. There is an issue about the shortage of

:06:11. > :06:15.beds so that people can progress through the hospital. There is an

:06:15. > :06:18.issue about recruitment and recruitment of staff.

:06:18. > :06:21.There is often a spike in demand for emergency services in winter,

:06:21. > :06:25.especially as temperatures drop and conditions get icy. But this

:06:25. > :06:28.increased demand in the summer months is highly unusual.

:06:28. > :06:30.Investigators are trying to establish why a light aircraft

:06:30. > :06:34.crashed shortly after take-off from Hawarden Airport, killing the two

:06:34. > :06:37.men on board. The plane came down last night in a field near Churton

:06:37. > :06:43.close to the Cheshire-Wrexham border. One of the those killed is

:06:43. > :06:45.from North Wales, the other from Surrey. The two seater Piper

:06:45. > :06:50.Tomahawk plane was registered with Flintshire Flying School and had

:06:50. > :06:53.taken off from Hawarden Airport yesterday evening. The school's

:06:53. > :06:57.website says it offers training for private pilot licences and night

:06:57. > :07:00.qualifications. Staff reported the aircraft missing just before 9

:07:00. > :07:03.o'clock. Following a search involving the North West Air

:07:03. > :07:12.Support Unit helicopter the wreckage was spotted in a field

:07:12. > :07:22.near the village of Churton close to Chester. The fields is on land

:07:22. > :07:25.

:07:25. > :07:27.owned by the Grosvenor Estate. The AAIB is leading the inquiry with

:07:27. > :07:30.support from Cheshire Police. Neither of the two men who died

:07:30. > :07:33.have been publicly named but their families have been informed. Police

:07:33. > :07:36.liaison officers are offering them support. One of the victims is from

:07:36. > :07:38.North Wales, the other from Surrey. The Chester coroner will open

:07:38. > :07:41.inquests once post mortem examinations have been carried out.

:07:41. > :07:43.The area has been busy since early this morning, with forensic

:07:43. > :07:46.examinations being performed and more aerial searches by the police

:07:46. > :07:55.helicopter. This is the second light aircraft crash in the region

:07:55. > :07:59.this week. That helicopter will have been checking the scene for

:07:59. > :08:07.evidence and giving as an aerial view so that we can get a bigger

:08:07. > :08:12.picture of what has occurred at the scene. A Tiger Moth plane crashed

:08:12. > :08:14.near Mold on Sunday but the pilot escaped unhurt. A controversial

:08:14. > :08:18.marina development at Holyhead has cleared another hurdle after the

:08:18. > :08:21.Welsh Government decided not to call in the planning application.

:08:21. > :08:26.Developers can now press ahead with the 100-million scheme approved by

:08:26. > :08:33.Anglesey Council in June. Objectors had claimed the scheme will damage

:08:33. > :08:36.A warrant has been issued for the arrest of a man who created a

:08:36. > :08:39.Facebook page to try to encourage violence in Cardiff during last

:08:39. > :08:42.summer's riots in England. 24-year- old Anthony Gristock from the city,

:08:42. > :08:44.failed to attend Cardiff Crown Court to be sentenced. He had

:08:44. > :08:48.already admitted encouraging or assisting violent disorder on

:08:48. > :08:54.Facebook during the riots. The judge warned last month he could

:08:54. > :08:57.expect a substantial jail sentence. Almost 19,000 students have been

:08:57. > :09:01.accepted so far at Welsh universities, down by a little over

:09:01. > :09:04.1,000 compared to the same time last year. The figure was released

:09:04. > :09:07.the day after students received their A-level results. Universities

:09:07. > :09:11.say vacancies are available in a range of courses through the

:09:12. > :09:15.clearing process. Meanwhile, GCSE exam results are

:09:15. > :09:18.out next week and we will be taking an in depth look at the

:09:19. > :09:22.qualification system here in Wales. We will be asking what its future

:09:22. > :09:26.is as the Welsh Government reviews the exam system and how we compare

:09:26. > :09:36.with what is going on across the border in England. Here is a taster

:09:36. > :09:42.

:09:42. > :09:46.Do we stick with the GCSE or do we scrap it? Do we revive the old O-

:09:46. > :09:54.level or do we introduce a brand new distinctively Welsh

:09:55. > :09:59.qualification? Does it stay can be pretty nerve racking no matter what

:09:59. > :10:04.exams you take. We will be speaking to the parents about what they want

:10:04. > :10:10.and we will hear from a married couple with a unique perspective.

:10:10. > :10:14.They are teachers on either side of the border. A common complaint

:10:14. > :10:18.among Welsh businesses is that they have to spend too much time giving

:10:18. > :10:28.their young recruits the sort of skills they would already expect

:10:28. > :10:30.

:10:30. > :10:35.them to have. The question is how All of that coming up on Wales

:10:35. > :10:38.Today from Monday. But back to tonight now and still ahead.

:10:38. > :10:42.Twice in a month. Metal is stolen again from this primary school roof

:10:42. > :10:46.causing tens of thousands of pounds worth of damage.

:10:46. > :10:56.Will it be lucky red for the Blues as they kick off their Championship

:10:56. > :10:58.

:10:58. > :11:01.Waiting lists of up to 10 months for therapies like counseling are a

:11:01. > :11:04.big issue according to the British Medical Association. BBC Wales has

:11:04. > :11:11.found that GPs sometimes prescribe pills because their patients cannot

:11:11. > :11:21.simply wait that long. More anti depressants are prescribed here per

:11:21. > :11:21.

:11:21. > :11:25.head than in any other part of the UK. They can help us when we are

:11:25. > :11:30.not well. But prescription medication is not the only option

:11:30. > :11:33.when it comes to our mental health. More and more anti-depressants are

:11:33. > :11:38.being prescribed in Wales but therapy can also be part of the

:11:38. > :11:42.solution. BBC Wales has found the waiting list for some of those

:11:42. > :11:49.therapies can be up to 10 months long. It is just another day in the

:11:49. > :11:53.office for Marina but things have not always been this easy. She saw

:11:53. > :11:58.her GP after suffering from long- term depression. She said the

:11:58. > :12:04.waiting list was 18 months long. somebody breaks the leg and are

:12:04. > :12:09.told to come back in 18 months' time, they -- there will be huge

:12:09. > :12:15.complications to that injury. It is no different with the mind. When

:12:15. > :12:20.your mind is broken, you need to be seen. Marina is not the only one

:12:20. > :12:30.with this experience. Referrals for treatment worked up in most areas

:12:30. > :12:30.

:12:30. > :12:40.in Wales last year. Waiting-lists are usually months, not weeks. For

:12:40. > :12:43.

:12:43. > :12:47.every 10 people, 12 prescriptions are written. They will become very

:12:47. > :12:53.frustrated if nothing is done for them. The only thing we can do is

:12:53. > :12:57.to try and prescribe something to alleviate the distress. The Welsh

:12:57. > :13:03.government will put 3.5 million into trying to improve the

:13:03. > :13:08.situation. Mental health charities welcome that news but say at the

:13:08. > :13:12.moment patients often end up with prescriptions for pills rather than

:13:12. > :13:14.the treatments the -- they are ideally need.

:13:14. > :13:18.Staff at the Severn Bridge toll booths have withdrawn their plans

:13:18. > :13:20.to work to rule, although they might still go on strike on next

:13:20. > :13:23.week's bank holiday. They are disputing changes to shift patterns,

:13:23. > :13:26.claiming they threaten their work- life balance. Union officials say

:13:26. > :13:28.they are close to an agreement with the company running the bridges,

:13:28. > :13:33.Severn River Crossing. The former owner of Colwyn Bay pier

:13:33. > :13:37.has lost his attempt to get it back. Steve Hunt was made bankrupt in

:13:37. > :13:41.2008 in a dispute over unpaid council tax. He had claimed that

:13:41. > :13:44.ownership should revert to him after three years. But a judge at

:13:44. > :13:48.Cardiff County Court today rejected his claim and the pier remains in

:13:48. > :13:55.the hands of Conwy Council. Our reporter Chris Dearden has been

:13:55. > :14:03.following the story and joins us from the newsroom. What happens

:14:03. > :14:06.now? Not an awful lot. The court case is the first of two. The

:14:06. > :14:12.former owner may have lost his claim that there is another case on

:14:12. > :14:15.the way and that involves his mother. She lent him mother into

:14:15. > :14:20.1003 to buy the Pier. She claims an interest as well. Until that cases

:14:20. > :14:25.held, we do not know exactly what will happen. The council says it

:14:25. > :14:29.signed a deal back in March. The court case does at least mean at

:14:29. > :14:35.the end of all this, it is pretty much more likely to be the owner.

:14:35. > :14:43.Tell us what sort of a state it is in? It is in a pretty bad way. The

:14:43. > :14:47.rain, sea and wind had been taking their toll. There was an

:14:47. > :14:52.application for lottery money to restore it in April was that was

:14:52. > :14:58.turned down. The council says it will try to cement that bid again.

:14:58. > :15:03.For the moment, there are people who say it should be pulled down.

:15:03. > :15:07.They say it is no longer the structure it once was. It could not

:15:07. > :15:11.have the future it once had because there is not the tourism market.

:15:11. > :15:18.Whether it get pulled down or not, even pulling it down will cost

:15:18. > :15:21.money. About 1 million according to one estimate. The future is by

:15:21. > :15:25.no means certain. A Rhondda school has been targeted

:15:25. > :15:28.by thieves for the second time in a month, causing tens of thousands of

:15:28. > :15:30.pounds worth of damage. Staff and pupils of Tonypandy Primary say

:15:31. > :15:39.they are devastated after metal thieves stole part of their school

:15:39. > :15:44.roof. Nine-year-old Finn takes a look around his classroom, or

:15:44. > :15:54.what's left of it. The ceiling has collapsed, the floors are sodden

:15:54. > :15:54.

:15:54. > :16:02.and a year's worth of coursework has been ruined. I cannot say the

:16:02. > :16:06.right words. Why have they done it? They were nasty to do this. This is

:16:06. > :16:14.the school roof and there used to be a one metre long strip of lead

:16:14. > :16:18.flashing here. It's all been stolen. Without the lead, the school was at

:16:18. > :16:22.the mercy of the elements. Rain poured through the cracks and

:16:22. > :16:24.filtered into the classrooms below. The damage was only discovered

:16:25. > :16:34.yesterday when staff arrived at the school to prepare the classrooms

:16:35. > :16:35.

:16:35. > :16:39.for the new term. Water was pouring down the walls. I could here tiles

:16:39. > :16:43.falling on the floor. The carpets were soaked. Extensive damage had

:16:43. > :16:46.been caused. Rhondda Cynon Taf Council says metal theft, in all

:16:46. > :16:49.its forms, is a huge problem in the area. Just a few months ago,

:16:49. > :16:58.schools in Tonyrefail and Mountain Ash were also targeted. The cost of

:16:58. > :17:03.repairing damage like this is mounting. The total for schools has

:17:03. > :17:10.been 110,000. With other metal thefts since April totalling

:17:10. > :17:14.250,000. That will cover street lighting, copper wiring and other

:17:14. > :17:16.matters from war memorials, cemeteries and so on. It is the

:17:17. > :17:19.second time in a fortnight that Tonypandy Primary School has been

:17:20. > :17:24.targeted by metal thieves. It will cost around 20,000 to repair all

:17:24. > :17:27.this. But there are some things that money simply cannot replace.

:17:27. > :17:30.Cardiff City kick-off their Championship season at home to

:17:30. > :17:33.Huddersfield later this evening. The Bluebirds will be playing in

:17:33. > :17:36.red for the first time in the league as they embark on a campaign

:17:36. > :17:43.which they hope will end in that elusive promotion to the Premier

:17:43. > :17:46.League. While much of the close season attention was taken up with

:17:46. > :17:49.the controversial change from blue shirts to red, Cardiff City were

:17:49. > :17:54.recently given a lift with the return of hometown hero Craig

:17:54. > :17:57.Bellamy. They will hope his presence will mean a change of

:17:57. > :18:05.fortunes for a side that has come agonisingly close to Premier League

:18:05. > :18:13.promotion in recent seasons. were to be as competitive as

:18:13. > :18:20.everyone else. We will try to win promotion. And every team in the

:18:20. > :18:25.division tries that. You hope for consistency and you hope for

:18:25. > :18:29.competitiveness. After that, another 12 teams fancied themselves

:18:29. > :18:32.to be in the same position as us. Aside from Bellamy, manager Malky

:18:32. > :18:36.Mackay has managed to bring in six other players in the close season

:18:36. > :18:43.which should ease the pressure on a squad facing 46 matches in the

:18:43. > :18:50.league. We need a good squad for that we were running a bit thin at

:18:50. > :18:55.times last year. You get tested. We played 55 games last year and that

:18:55. > :19:00.is incredible to play at that level constantly and consistently. We

:19:00. > :19:03.need a good size squad for the competition. Meanwhile, Scott

:19:03. > :19:07.Sinclair could have played his last match for Swansea City. The forward

:19:07. > :19:11.has refused to sign a new contract. His current deal runs out at the

:19:11. > :19:20.end of the season and he has been linked with a move to champions

:19:20. > :19:23.Manchester City. Cricket. Essex had a lead of 82

:19:23. > :19:28.runs on day three of their championship match at home to

:19:28. > :19:31.Glamorgan. Now it is less than a week since

:19:31. > :19:34.the closing ceremony of the Olympic Games, but attention is already

:19:34. > :19:37.turning to the Paralympics. Today it was all change outside Cardiff's

:19:37. > :19:47.City Hall as the Olympic rings were replaced by the Paralympic symbol

:19:47. > :19:51.It is a sign that things are moving on. Gone are the Olympic Rings, now

:19:51. > :19:55.its time for the Paralympic Agitos to take the stage. The name is

:19:55. > :20:05.Latin for "I move". Cardiff is just one of five cities in the UK

:20:05. > :20:10.displaying the symbol for the duration of the games. Launches

:20:10. > :20:16.like this are fantastic. When you see the logo up, which you know

:20:16. > :20:21.that we are not too far away. It is the first launch of the symbol

:20:21. > :20:27.anywhere in the UK. It is great to do this in Cardiff to show what

:20:27. > :20:30.this country has done. In their shadow are just some of the people

:20:30. > :20:32.they are meant to inspire: Wheelchair basketball players and

:20:32. > :20:41.even the Australian Paralympians. They are taking a well-earned break

:20:41. > :20:46.from training to get a closer look. Having the logo put it is a nice

:20:46. > :20:50.touch. We know they have games about to start. We are keen to get

:20:50. > :20:52.over there and get the competition started. At London 2012, 38 Welsh

:20:52. > :20:55.athletes will compete for Paralympics GB in 13 different

:20:55. > :21:01.sports. The Welsh contingent brought home 14 medals from Beijing

:21:01. > :21:04.and got a heroes welcome. Ten golds, three silvers and one bronze. One

:21:04. > :21:12.of our former Paralympians says this time, with the support of a

:21:12. > :21:17.home crowd, they could do even better. Normally when you go to

:21:17. > :21:21.these events, you go abroad and you get a small crowd of family and

:21:21. > :21:25.friends to come and cheers. But here, the whole crowd will adapt

:21:25. > :21:29.every time a British athlete does well at something. It will spur us

:21:29. > :21:33.on. The Agitos are just the beginning for Wales' build up to

:21:33. > :21:36.the Paralympics. Next week a group of scouts will light a flame at the

:21:36. > :21:38.top of Snowdon to begin the torch relay before the Games start in

:21:39. > :21:41.London on 29 August. On Monday's programme, we will be

:21:42. > :21:44.meeting some of the athletes and coaches from across the world who

:21:45. > :21:47.have been training in Wales ahead of the Games. Around 600

:21:47. > :21:56.competitors and officials are here, many making use of facilities they

:21:57. > :22:02.do not have back home. It is a big difference here. We do not have

:22:02. > :22:12.these facilities at home. Sometimes we have to travel for equipment.

:22:12. > :22:17.

:22:17. > :22:22.Here, it is a bonus for us to come here to train in Cardiff. We have

:22:22. > :22:25.had instances of flash flooding in the Swansea Valley.

:22:26. > :22:31.Let's have a look at what the weather has got in store for us now.

:22:31. > :22:35.We'll see some improvements for the weekend. But before we get there,

:22:35. > :22:38.still a lot of rain in the forecast. The Met Office has an amber warning

:22:38. > :22:41.in place. We've all seen some downpours today. The bright green

:22:41. > :22:45.and yellow on the radar shows where it's been torrential in the last

:22:45. > :22:53.few hours. In total, we could see 50-75mm or 2-3 inches over the

:22:53. > :22:55.space of 24 hours. The heaviest likely across Carmarthenshire,

:22:55. > :23:05.Powys, Ceredigion, and Pembrokeshire. We've had reports of

:23:05. > :23:07.

:23:07. > :23:11.This evening, further outbreaks of heavy rain moving northeastwards

:23:11. > :23:14.through the night. It will eventually become more patchy and

:23:14. > :23:20.on and off coastal mist and hill fog developing but remaining muggy

:23:20. > :23:24.and humid. Temperatures staying in the high teens overnight. A chance

:23:24. > :23:28.of thundery downpours. A murky overcast start tomorrow and breezy.

:23:28. > :23:32.The early rain should ease but it stays damp and cloudy. A few breaks

:23:32. > :23:37.allowing brighter spells and hazy sunshine later. Low cloud and mist

:23:37. > :23:41.lapping onto southwestern coasts. Warm and humid, 19-22C. But less

:23:41. > :23:44.windy than of late. On Sunday we'll see some bright spells in the south

:23:44. > :23:49.and east but now looking more cloudy in the north and west with

:23:49. > :23:52.showers still feeling quite close. Very changeable thanks to a

:23:52. > :23:56.wavering weather front which is hovering back and forth over Wales

:23:56. > :24:02.over the weekend. The detail and timing is sketchy, which is why

:24:02. > :24:10.it's unsettled. So after a wet and windy 24 hours, less rain over the

:24:10. > :24:15.weekend, often cloudy. Some bright spells but staying dry, warm and

:24:15. > :24:19.humid. Today's picture is view of Bala in the mist taken by Barry

:24:19. > :24:29.Roberts. Likely to see more mist and low cloud, certainly tomorrow

:24:29. > :24:31.

:24:31. > :24:34.morning. The main news again from the BBC.

:24:34. > :24:37.Three members of a Russian punk band have been sentenced to two

:24:37. > :24:39.years in prison in a case that has attracted international

:24:39. > :24:42.condemnation. The women in the band Pussy Riot, were arrested after

:24:42. > :24:44.staging a protest song in Moscow's main cathedral, criticising the

:24:44. > :24:54.church and Vladimir Putin. The judge convicted them for

:24:54. > :24:54.

:24:54. > :25:03.hooliganism and blasphemy. Loud, bright and effective protesting

:25:03. > :25:09.will not be tolerated in Russia. They will be prosecuted. Police

:25:09. > :25:15.have questioned the mental health advocate of Moors Murderer Ian

:25:15. > :25:19.Brady. Jackie Powell was arrested yesterday. She has now been bailed.

:25:19. > :25:24.Police are still trying to find out where 12 the road Keith Bennett was

:25:24. > :25:34.buried. He was one of five children killed by Ian Brady and Myra

:25:34. > :25:38.

:25:38. > :25:41.Hindley. He is the only one whose body has not been found. There were

:25:41. > :25:46.police officers and plainclothes police officers going in and out of

:25:46. > :25:48.the house. They got up things in bags and boxes.

:25:48. > :25:52.Our reporter Will Glennon is at Ashworth Hospital on Merseyside

:25:52. > :26:02.where Ian Brady has been for the past 25 years. What are police

:26:02. > :26:07.saying now? Greater Manchester Police were made aware of that

:26:07. > :26:12.letter which was to be opened on the death of Ian Brady which are

:26:12. > :26:17.said to contain possible details of where the body of Keith Bennett may

:26:17. > :26:23.be buried. Police arrested Jackie Powell at her home and searched her

:26:23. > :26:26.home and recovered some documents. They also searched the room of Ian

:26:26. > :26:30.Brady at the hospital. It is not believe they found anything. They

:26:30. > :26:37.are now examining the documents that found at the home of Jackie

:26:37. > :26:42.Powell to see if this letter actually exists. There is some

:26:42. > :26:48.scepticism about this because Ian Brady is known to be a cruel man

:26:48. > :26:53.who likes to play mind games. we know about Jackie Powell? She is

:26:53. > :26:58.a long-time visitor of Ian Brady at this hospital. She is his mental

:26:58. > :27:04.health advocate. You are entitled to one of those if you add a

:27:04. > :27:09.patient here. You can have one appointed by the hospital or you

:27:09. > :27:13.can select your own. We believe in this case Ian Brady selected Jackie

:27:13. > :27:17.Powell. She is also the exact date of his will so she has allowed to

:27:17. > :27:21.have meetings with him at the hospital. It was at one of those

:27:21. > :27:31.meetings that he could -- but she could have accepted that letter

:27:31. > :27:35.from him. We will have an update for you here
