:00:13. > :00:16.Good evening. People are being warned of flooding in parts of
:00:17. > :00:21.Pembrokeshire tomorrow as strong winds coincide with high tides. Ten
:00:22. > :00:25.people were rescued when the bus they were travelling in was hit by a
:00:26. > :00:28.massive wave in Newgale. Pembrokeshire Council say they were
:00:29. > :00:35.in the process of closing the road at the time. No-one was injured.
:00:36. > :00:41.Caroline Evans reports. This is what the weather did last
:00:42. > :00:45.night in Newgale. Conditions still treacherous as passengers were
:00:46. > :00:49.rescued by the emergency services. We were down here around eight
:00:50. > :00:52.o'clock last night and when we got down here we could see there was
:00:53. > :00:57.something in the water but we were not sure what it was. The police
:00:58. > :01:04.told us they had a major evacuation. As the evening went on, about an
:01:05. > :01:09.hour or so, the ambulances were here, the fire engines, the
:01:10. > :01:13.coastguards. As a managed to evacuate the people of the bus, they
:01:14. > :01:21.were taking them up the hill in police cars. Paramedics were a bit
:01:22. > :01:27.and it was an awful lot going on but it was very calm and very well
:01:28. > :01:33.organised. It seems as if the bus was travelling towards Haverfordwest
:01:34. > :01:38.when a massive wave came and push the right off the road. Local people
:01:39. > :01:43.say that until the last few weeks, they have not seen conditions like
:01:44. > :01:48.this for more than 20 years. They say it must have been terrifying.
:01:49. > :01:53.Today, the road to the beach was packed with cars as people came to
:01:54. > :01:58.see the damage for themselves. It must have been pretty horrendous for
:01:59. > :02:03.them. We saw the waves coming over last night and looked frightening
:02:04. > :02:09.from there. I can imagine it must have been pretty horrific. The waves
:02:10. > :02:18.come over many a year but never like this. It must have been quite scary.
:02:19. > :02:21.Denbighshire Council have confirmed they were in the process of closing
:02:22. > :02:27.the road when the bus went through Newgale. Elsewhere, more wind and
:02:28. > :02:38.waves battered the coast. In Porthcawl, a seven foot wall
:02:39. > :02:44.demolished. And this was Aberystwyth. We are pleased that the
:02:45. > :02:50.repairs we put in place have held up. There is absolutely minimal
:02:51. > :02:54.damage from last night. All we have really got is a bit of shingle lying
:02:55. > :03:04.around. We have reopened this stretch of road this morning. It was
:03:05. > :03:06.closed last night. Tonight, the council is assessing the cost of
:03:07. > :03:09.damage for the second time this year.
:03:10. > :03:12.Elsewhere, more than 50 mountain rescuers battled atrocious weather
:03:13. > :03:15.conditions to help find a group of students in the Cambrian Mountains.
:03:16. > :03:18.Seven students from Manchester Metropolitan University had set out
:03:19. > :03:20.to walk Pumlumon Mountain yesterday between Aberystwyth and Llanidloes
:03:21. > :03:24.when weather conditions deteriorated.
:03:25. > :03:28.There's a powerful case for extending the smoking ban to
:03:29. > :03:32.e-cigarettes. That's according to the Health Minister. Mark Drakeford
:03:33. > :03:35.says while he understands they could help people quit smoking, he's very
:03:36. > :03:39.anxious about e-cigarettes. On Tuesday, Assembly Members are to
:03:40. > :03:48.vote on whether to ban their sale to people under 18.
:03:49. > :03:55.The movement is re-normal eyes in smoking, it is glamorising smoking.
:03:56. > :03:59.It contains nicotine and nicotine is highly addictive. We don't want them
:04:00. > :04:01.to become a gateway to real cigarettes.
:04:02. > :04:05.Rugby, and Wales have no new injury concerns ahead of the game with
:04:06. > :04:07.Ireland next weekend. Tries from Alex Cuthbert and Scott Williams
:04:08. > :04:11.helped Wales win their opening Six Nations game against Italy. The
:04:12. > :04:15.coaching staff will keep an eye on Luke Charteris though, who was
:04:16. > :04:17.replaced in the second half. The weather forecast for Wales.
:04:18. > :04:27.Here's Sara Thornton. Good evening. We have got more
:04:28. > :04:31.weather warnings in force in the coming days, starting tomorrow
:04:32. > :04:36.morning, as more heavy rain makes its way towards us. This warning is
:04:37. > :04:44.for the south-west of Wales tomorrow. You can see the rain
:04:45. > :04:49.advancing from the West. That will be combined with winds of around 60
:04:50. > :04:55.miles an hour. We could see some very big waves. And then we have got
:04:56. > :04:57.more warnings for the middle part of the week.
:04:58. > :05:08.We're back in Breakfast from 6.25am. That's Wales Today. From all of us
:05:09. > :05:17.Good evening. Many of us had a sunny Sunday. The weather has calmed down.
:05:18. > :05:21.However, there is more wet and windy weather to come. Tomorrow it is
:05:22. > :05:24.concentrated in the West. Many eastern areas will be dry and
:05:25. > :05:26.breezy. The winds picking up
