:00:00. > :00:07.Welcome to Wales Today. Tonight's headlines.

:00:08. > :00:11.Nurses say they are frustrated and demoralised following criticism by

:00:12. > :00:21.Labour MP Ann Clwyd. They're demanding a report into her

:00:22. > :00:25.husband's death be made public. We cannot continue to have this

:00:26. > :00:29.barrage of exposure within the media without actually knowing what is it

:00:30. > :00:34.that has gone so drastically wrong and wearies of the evidence and what

:00:35. > :00:36.action has been taken to hold anybody who was responsible to

:00:37. > :00:40.account. Tonight, Ann Clwyd tells us why she

:00:41. > :00:52.doesn't want the details to be published.

:00:53. > :00:56.Also tonight. Charges will be brought against the

:00:57. > :01:01.owner of Farmbox Meats in Ceredigion, accused of mislabelling

:01:02. > :01:11.goat as lamb. Storm damage to Welsh woodlands. The

:01:12. > :01:13.cost is estimated at more than a million pounds.

:01:14. > :01:16.In tonight's sport, they both desperately need points, but Cardiff

:01:17. > :01:19.and Swansea face stern opposition against the giants of Merseyside

:01:20. > :01:23.this weekend in the fight to stay in the Premier League.

:01:24. > :01:25.And pass it on - the hunt is on for players to join the North Wales

:01:26. > :01:31.Crusaders wheelchair rugby league team.

:01:32. > :01:37.Good evening. The Labour MP Ann Clwyd is tonight under pressure to

:01:38. > :01:41.allow an investigation into her husband's death to be made public.

:01:42. > :01:44.The Royal College of Nursing in Wales has told this programme staff

:01:45. > :01:48.feel demoralised and frustrated that Mrs Clwyd has refused to share a

:01:49. > :01:52.report looking at the care Owen Roberts received at the University

:01:53. > :01:55.Hospital of Wales. She claims her husband spent 27 hours on a trolley

:01:56. > :01:59.and was treated with coldness and indifference. Tonight, the Director

:02:00. > :02:08.of the RCN tells us it's crucial nurses and the public know what

:02:09. > :02:13.happened. We cannot continue to have this

:02:14. > :02:18.barrage of exposure within the media without actually knowing what is it

:02:19. > :02:22.that has gone so drastically wrong and wearies the evidence and what

:02:23. > :02:28.action has been taken to hold anybody who was to account.

:02:29. > :02:32.Realistically, we do need to have the health board and the complainant

:02:33. > :02:35.in gauging withers and if there are people to be held accountable, to

:02:36. > :02:38.look at that. Earlier today, our Welsh Affairs

:02:39. > :02:43.Editor Vaughan Roderick spoke to Ann Clwyd. He started by asking her why

:02:44. > :02:51.she is unwilling to release the report. The reason I said no and may

:02:52. > :02:57.continue to say no is that the process is not complete. But didn't

:02:58. > :03:03.you put these circumstances into the traveller domain yourself? Some of

:03:04. > :03:07.them, of course I did. It is important when you are discussing

:03:08. > :03:14.waiting times on trolleys to say they made my husband wait 27 hours

:03:15. > :03:18.on a trolley. I think that is very pertinent. Under the complaint

:03:19. > :03:22.procedure, if you are not satisfied with the initial response to your

:03:23. > :03:29.complaint, there is another road that you can go down and I am going

:03:30. > :03:35.down that road now. Can you understand the feelings of staff who

:03:36. > :03:39.may say, Ann Clwyd is publishing things that are detrimental to us,

:03:40. > :03:44.they may be other things in this report that are not detrimental. The

:03:45. > :03:50.people who asked for the information under the Freedom of information is

:03:51. > :03:57.apparently the Royal College of nursing in Wales. They are next door

:03:58. > :03:59.to the University Hospital. I am quite sure that the people at the

:04:00. > :04:03.Royal College of nursing already knew what some aspects of that

:04:04. > :04:08.report would because they would have been questioned about some of the

:04:09. > :04:13.allegations made about nurses. They are behaving like a trade union,

:04:14. > :04:22.protecting their members. Which they are allowed to do. Of course. Carwyn

:04:23. > :04:29.Jones was pretty dismissive of what you have been saying. He says,

:04:30. > :04:33.produce the evidence, we have not seen the evidence. Were you

:04:34. > :04:38.surprised at an attack like that? A little surprised. You know how many

:04:39. > :04:43.times I have talked about these issues publicly over the last year

:04:44. > :04:51.and a half, and particularly when in England I was doing a review into

:04:52. > :04:55.complaints procedures. 20% of the letters I got were from Wales. The

:04:56. > :05:01.majority of those were about University Hospital of Wales. Why

:05:02. > :05:10.not show them? Let me answer you. You cannot show under the Freedom of

:05:11. > :05:14.Information Act. You cannot show names and addresses. Do you think

:05:15. > :05:20.the University Hospital of Wales could be another Mid Staffordshire?

:05:21. > :05:24.Because of the figures I have seen in the past, there is cause for

:05:25. > :05:32.concern and all I have been asking for all along is a review by 70 like

:05:33. > :05:37.Sir Bruce Keogh who wrote to the Chief medical Officer and offered

:05:38. > :05:41.his assistance. He said he was concerned by the figures I had shown

:05:42. > :05:50.him and he told me it was a moral issue. Do we need a Welsh enquiry?

:05:51. > :05:55.Yes, I have said so for months. No doubt some people in your party will

:05:56. > :06:00.say, there is an election coming, it is going to be a tightly fought

:06:01. > :06:06.fight between Ed Miliband and David Cameron. Why are you helping David

:06:07. > :06:12.Cameron? I laugh about that. I am representing my constituents. I want

:06:13. > :06:17.what is best for them. There is never a right time to criticise

:06:18. > :06:21.something but there is a year to go until the election. I have been

:06:22. > :06:24.saying this for the past year and a half.

:06:25. > :06:32.Vaughan joins me now. How politically awkward is this for the

:06:33. > :06:36.Welsh government? This is hugely politically awkward for the Welsh

:06:37. > :06:40.government and there already are people within Labour in Wales who

:06:41. > :06:46.are saying that Carwyn Jones handled it very badly this week by seeming

:06:47. > :06:49.to attack Ann Clwyd. There are people saying that in the court of

:06:50. > :06:54.public opinion, the battle between a grieving widow and the first

:06:55. > :06:59.Minister, there is only one of those two people will feel sympathy with

:07:00. > :07:03.in this case. But it is also incredibly difficult, not just for

:07:04. > :07:09.the Welsh government but also for the health board in Cardiff. Hearing

:07:10. > :07:13.Ann Clwyd say that the University Hospital could be another Mid

:07:14. > :07:16.Staffordshire, you could imagine the effect on staff morale, on people

:07:17. > :07:20.who may be waiting to go into that hospital. They have issued a

:07:21. > :07:25.statement today saying they have reviewed a thousand case notes of

:07:26. > :07:31.deaths in the hospital to offer further reassurance to patients. As

:07:32. > :07:35.you heard from the Royal College of nursing, they are desperate for that

:07:36. > :07:37.report into the death of Owen Roberts to be published because they

:07:38. > :07:43.believe the public would get a full picture. They are not saying things

:07:44. > :07:47.did not go wrong, they say -- the public should be able to see what

:07:48. > :07:52.went wrong because Ann Clwyd decided to put this case into the public

:07:53. > :08:00.arena. But this row is unlikely to go away. Ann Clwyd says she will

:08:01. > :08:03.continue to speak out. She has had hundreds of e-mails, the vast

:08:04. > :08:07.majority supporting her for speaking out. The problem with the Welsh

:08:08. > :08:13.government has got is she wants to see what the opposition parties want

:08:14. > :08:18.to see, which is a full enquiry. The opposition parties are not going to

:08:19. > :08:22.let them go. The man likely to open the Welsh Conservative conference in

:08:23. > :08:29.a few weeks time is no other than the English Health Secretary. What

:08:30. > :08:32.is he coming to talk about? It is pretty easy to guess.

:08:33. > :08:35.Meanwhile, the Welsh government's Deputy Chief Medical Officer says

:08:36. > :08:39.Welsh hospitals are probably the most scrutinised and inspected of

:08:40. > :08:43.any in the UK. It comes as new statistics on hospital mortality

:08:44. > :08:45.rates are published. The Welsh Conservatives have renewed their

:08:46. > :08:48.call for an independent inquiry and Plaid Cymru say further

:08:49. > :08:50.investigation is needed into high mortality rates at Glangwili

:08:51. > :08:55.Hospital in Carmarthen and Neath Port Talbot Hospital. But Dr Chris

:08:56. > :09:03.Jones insists Welsh hospitals are becoming safer.

:09:04. > :09:07.We know that numbers will be higher in Wales than in England because all

:09:08. > :09:11.measures of mortality are higher in Wales. We don't have as healthy a

:09:12. > :09:17.population overall in Wales as in England. I think there are lots of

:09:18. > :09:20.measures that shows the NHS in Wales is providing excellent health care

:09:21. > :09:22.and it is improving continuously. I would rather people looked at those

:09:23. > :09:25.measures. In other news, two men from

:09:26. > :09:29.Ceredigion are facing charges relating to the mislabelling of

:09:30. > :09:32.meat. Dafydd Raw Rees, the owner of Farmbox Meats in Llandre, and Colin

:09:33. > :09:37.Patterson, a company representative, are accused of mislabelling goat

:09:38. > :09:41.meat as lamb or mutton. Last year, the business was raided by Food

:09:42. > :09:45.Standards Agency Officials. Cemlyn Davies has more.

:09:46. > :09:49.Farmbox Meats hit the headlines last February at the height of the horse

:09:50. > :09:52.meat scandal. This man, the company's owner, Dafydd Raw Rees,

:09:53. > :09:56.and Colin Patterson, who also worked here, were arrested on suspicion of

:09:57. > :10:02.fraud following a raid by Food Standards Agency officials. They

:10:03. > :10:07.were investigating claims horse meat was being sold on as beef. No

:10:08. > :10:13.charges have been brought in relation to that investigation and

:10:14. > :10:16.both men remain on bail. But they have now been told they'll be

:10:17. > :10:21.charged with offences relating to the mislabelling of goat meat as

:10:22. > :10:24.either lamb or mutton. 19 of the charges are to do with alleged

:10:25. > :10:29.offences contrary to the Food Safety Act. There's an additional charge of

:10:30. > :10:34.failing to comply with traceability requirements. The two men's

:10:35. > :10:39.solicitor has told the BBC his clients will contest the

:10:40. > :10:42.allegations. Meanwhile, two men from West Yorkshire have been accused of

:10:43. > :10:48.failing to comply with traceability requirements for horses slaughtered

:10:49. > :10:51.at their premises in Todmorden. The slaughterhouse's owner, Peter Boddy,

:10:52. > :10:54.is also facing a charge of one count of forgery relating to an allegedly

:10:55. > :11:01.falsified invoice for the sale of horse meat. In a statement, the CPS

:11:02. > :11:03.said it believes there's a realistic prospect of conviction and

:11:04. > :11:08.prosecution is in the public interest. All four men are due to

:11:09. > :11:14.appear before Westminster Magistrates' Court next month.

:11:15. > :11:16.A woman has denied seven charges relating to indecent images of

:11:17. > :11:21.children at Cardiff Magistrates' Court. The court heard the charges

:11:22. > :11:24.against Joanne Mjadzelics came to light as part of an investigation

:11:25. > :11:28.into Ian Watkins, the former singer in the band Lostprophets. Ms

:11:29. > :11:32.Mjadzelics will appear at Cardiff Crown Court next month.

:11:33. > :11:36.Customs officers have seized what is believed to be the largest haul of

:11:37. > :11:40.illicit alcohol discovered in Wales. A man from Cardiff has been

:11:41. > :11:49.arrested. More than ?169,000 worth of beer, wine and spirits was found,

:11:50. > :11:52.worth ?303,000 in lost duty and tax. A man has been arrested on suspicion

:11:53. > :11:56.of murder following the death of a man in the Grangetown area of

:11:57. > :11:59.Cardiff earlier this week. The body of David Alun-Lewis from Ystrad

:12:00. > :12:03.Mynach was found partially submerged in the River Taff. Police are

:12:04. > :12:09.currently searching the area for a weapon and are carrying out house to

:12:10. > :12:11.house inquiries. Nick Palit reports. In the shadow of the Millennium

:12:12. > :12:15.Stadium, the police investigation continues. Specialist divers

:12:16. > :12:19.searching the murky waters of the Taff for any clues to what happened

:12:20. > :12:22.here. Other officers combing the river bank and dense undergrowth

:12:23. > :12:28.along the waters edge in their search for the weapon that killed

:12:29. > :12:32.45-year-old David Alun-Lewis. His family in Ystrad Mynach describe him

:12:33. > :12:40.as a good, decent man, highly intelligent and a talented musician.

:12:41. > :12:45.He was found just before midnight on Wednesday, his body was found

:12:46. > :12:49.partially submerged in the water underneath this bridge. Police say

:12:50. > :12:52.he had significant head injuries and they are awaiting the results of a

:12:53. > :12:56.postmortem examination. Police today arrested a 28-year-old man on

:12:57. > :13:00.suspicion of murder. They say the last sighting of Mr Lewis was on

:13:01. > :13:03.CCTV with another man walking past this storage company onto the

:13:04. > :13:07.Penarth Road bridge. They're appealing for witnesses who may have

:13:08. > :13:10.seen Mr Lewis that night and say he was wearing a navy anorak, jeans and

:13:11. > :13:16.a light coloured baseball cap with Cross Hatch branding. We are really

:13:17. > :13:22.keen to establish whether any members of the public in the

:13:23. > :13:28.vicinity between 7:45pm and 11:50pm on Wednesday, March 19 may have

:13:29. > :13:32.seen, witness, heard any altercation or suspicious incidents on the bank

:13:33. > :13:35.of the river. Detectives have today been carrying out house to house

:13:36. > :13:38.inquiries in the Grangetown area. Residents on the street which faces

:13:39. > :13:43.the murder scene say they're shocked. For the past few months,

:13:44. > :13:48.there have been a lot of incidents going on, especially in that area

:13:49. > :13:51.where the body was found. It was awful because we were watching out

:13:52. > :13:59.of the window as the body was being removed. It was awful. To be outside

:14:00. > :14:02.your house, it was shocking. Though Mr Lewis lived with his parents in

:14:03. > :14:06.Ystrad Mynach, when in Cardiff he often stayed at the Huggard Centre -

:14:07. > :14:10.a night shelter for the homeless less than a mile from where his body

:14:11. > :14:13.was found. Police have set up an incident room at Cardiff Central

:14:14. > :14:16.Police Station. Still ahead tonight, fighting for

:14:17. > :14:20.their Premier League lives. Both need points. Can the managers at

:14:21. > :14:23.Cardiff and Swansea mastermind some magic this weekend against stern

:14:24. > :14:27.opposition? And wheelchair rugby league - we're

:14:28. > :14:35.live at this club in Flintshire as it tries to find new team members.

:14:36. > :14:41.As we head into the longer days of spring and summer, many of us would

:14:42. > :14:45.be looking forward to making use of what the woodlands of Wales have to

:14:46. > :14:48.offer. But it's been estimated that the winter storms have caused over a

:14:49. > :14:52.million pounds worth of damage with thousands of trees knocked down in

:14:53. > :14:57.the winds. And there's been an impact too on visitor attractions.

:14:58. > :15:02.Roger Pinney has been to Coed y Brenin near Dolgellau to find out

:15:03. > :15:08.more. You will probably remember this. And

:15:09. > :15:13.what about this? The storms which wreaked havoc on the coast also left

:15:14. > :15:20.a trail of destruction through our woodland. Massive trees flattened

:15:21. > :15:26.like matchsticks. Clearing the damage is a massive task, not just

:15:27. > :15:31.here but across the country. Thousands of trees were felled in

:15:32. > :15:36.the storms and don't forget, many Welsh forests are important tourist

:15:37. > :15:43.draws. This is the worst I have seen in my career. The district manager

:15:44. > :15:48.of the forestry arm of Natural Resources Wales says staff have been

:15:49. > :15:53.at full strength. It is going to take as several months if not years

:15:54. > :15:58.to get back to the position we were before the storm. In some ways, it

:15:59. > :16:03.has caused us a lot of work but it does give us advantages in some

:16:04. > :16:09.respects. It enables us to reconvert this back to a native woodland. Wood

:16:10. > :16:15.from the trees will eventually be sold so their value is not lost.

:16:16. > :16:19.More worrying is the damage caused to the tourist attractions. This

:16:20. > :16:25.tangle of wires was a high ropes course, and attraction with last

:16:26. > :16:31.year brought in 15,000 visitors. 90% of it has been flattened. The course

:16:32. > :16:35.is unlikely to reopen this year. Mountain bikers have had better

:16:36. > :16:41.luck. One by one, their trails have been reopened and it is hoped they

:16:42. > :16:46.will all be in use again soon. There are massive trees which are all

:16:47. > :16:55.down. It is a complete mess. Lots of tree damage. But it looks like they

:16:56. > :17:02.are doing a good job of getting the trails open. It attracts around

:17:03. > :17:08.170,000 visitors a year. There are walking trails as well. They are

:17:09. > :17:12.important to the local community with bed and breakfast. It really is

:17:13. > :17:17.a battle to get as much of it going as possible? It is a battle we are

:17:18. > :17:23.starting to win but it is going to be ongoing for a couple of months.

:17:24. > :17:28.Natural Resources Wales thinks the damage caused is worth ?2 million.

:17:29. > :17:31.One way or another, we will be counting the cost of the storms for

:17:32. > :17:35.some time yet. The number of people with scarlet

:17:36. > :17:39.fever has increased, with 139 cases recorded in Wales since January.

:17:40. > :17:43.That's double the number seen during the same period last year. Swansea

:17:44. > :17:46.has the highest number of cases, with 24 people affected. Scarlet

:17:47. > :17:50.fever can bring on a high temperature and a pink-red rash, but

:17:51. > :17:53.it's treatable with antibiotics. BBC Wales' headquarters in Cardiff

:17:54. > :17:57.will not be listed, paving the way for the corporation to move to new

:17:58. > :18:00.premises. Cadw, the body responsible for protecting buildings, had been

:18:01. > :18:04.asked to consider listing the building in the Llandaff area. The

:18:05. > :18:09.final decision was made by the Culture Minister. BBC Wales has put

:18:10. > :18:12.the site up for sale as part of plans to move its broadcasting base.

:18:13. > :18:18.Let's catch up with tonight's sports news now. Here's Claire.

:18:19. > :18:22.Good evening. Our two Premier League teams will be delighted to come away

:18:23. > :18:25.with anything from a difficult weekend ahead. Cardiff City, who are

:18:26. > :18:29.in the relegation zone, host title-chasing Liverpool. While

:18:30. > :18:35.Swansea City, only four points clear of danger, travel to Everton. Here's

:18:36. > :18:38.Ashleigh Crowter. The last time Cardiff played

:18:39. > :18:42.Liverpool, it was Malky Mackay who was fighting for survival as

:18:43. > :18:47.manager. Three months on, the whole club is on the brink. Brendan

:18:48. > :18:53.Rodgers's side are genuine title contenders. It means no one is

:18:54. > :18:57.giving Cardiff a chance tomorrow. But it is getting to the stage where

:18:58. > :19:02.Cardiff need to defy everyone's expectations. In a game at

:19:03. > :19:08.Liverpool, we have got nothing to lose. We are at home. We have done

:19:09. > :19:15.it against City, we have drawn against United. There are still 24

:19:16. > :19:20.points to play for with eight games left. After Liverpool, the next two

:19:21. > :19:23.games are against sides in the relegation mix. They will not want

:19:24. > :19:28.to leave it to the last game when Chelsea try to win the title. An

:19:29. > :19:32.injury time goldeneye Cardiff a point last week. Now Swansea will

:19:33. > :19:38.head to Goodison Park hoping for better luck. Swansea are just four

:19:39. > :19:42.points above the drop zone. A bad run at this stage of the season

:19:43. > :19:45.could put them in deep trouble. Last weekend they lost at home to one of

:19:46. > :19:49.the sides below them which has made things even tighter. It means every

:19:50. > :19:55.game will now be a test of character. I have got no question at

:19:56. > :20:00.all with the players. They realise what is at stake for themselves.

:20:01. > :20:05.Reputations are on the line, not just the club only as a manager but

:20:06. > :20:10.them as players. When you get question, you tend to get a

:20:11. > :20:14.reaction. Swansea have a game in hand on Cardiff with nine left to

:20:15. > :20:19.play. They have a trip to Arsenal on Tuesday and then a collection of

:20:20. > :20:21.so-called 6-point is against the likes of Norwich, Hull City and

:20:22. > :20:23.Sunderland. It's one of the most

:20:24. > :20:26.eagerly-anticipated European football fixtures and a certain

:20:27. > :20:29.Welshman will play his part this weekend. Gareth Bale, who's been

:20:30. > :20:33.playing for Real Madrid for six months now, is gearing up to face

:20:34. > :20:36.Barcelona in El Classico on Sunday - the two biggest teams in Spanish

:20:37. > :20:40.football battling it out to win the league. Bale has scored 14 goals

:20:41. > :20:48.since joining from Spurs and he says he's beginning to make his mark.

:20:49. > :20:52.When you come to any club, you want to perform straightaway and

:20:53. > :20:56.obviously, because of having no pre-season, the physical demands

:20:57. > :20:59.were a lot more than I was able to do myself. But as I have got

:21:00. > :21:05.fitter, my performances have got better. Hopefully now I can keep

:21:06. > :21:08.maintaining the level of performance and get a lot better.

:21:09. > :21:14.And Sport Wales has been to out Madrid. There's a profile on Gareth

:21:15. > :21:16.Bale and his time in Spain so far tonight at 9.00pm over on BBC Two

:21:17. > :21:21.Wales. Rugby and there's a Welsh derby in

:21:22. > :21:24.the Pro12 tonight. The Ospreys, the top Welsh region, fourth in the

:21:25. > :21:28.table, face the Blues who are 10th. It's the Blues' first match since

:21:29. > :21:31.the departure of Director of Rugby Phil Davies. The Scarlets are away

:21:32. > :21:34.to Glasgow tomorrow night, while the Dragons welcome Connacht on Sunday.

:21:35. > :21:38.You can catch the derby tonight on Scrum V Live over on BBC Two Wales

:21:39. > :21:41.from 7.00pm. Now, rugby of a different kind is

:21:42. > :21:44.getting underway in Flintshire this evening as North Wales Crusaders

:21:45. > :21:48.Wheelchair Rugby League Club begins training for the new season. Formed

:21:49. > :21:52.last year, they're appealing for more players to join them. It's also

:21:53. > :22:02.open to those who aren't wheelchair users. Matthew Richards is at

:22:03. > :22:07.Deeside Leisure Centre. We have fortunately got a bit of a

:22:08. > :22:11.respite in what has been a fast and furious bit of training. Let's speak

:22:12. > :22:21.to the coach. Explain to us how it works. Wheelchair rugby league is a

:22:22. > :22:25.similar version to the running game of rugby league. It is modified a

:22:26. > :22:34.little bit that you don't have any scrimmaging but we have the play of

:22:35. > :22:44.the ball, kicking and scoring tries by grounding or putting the ball

:22:45. > :22:49.down and the post. They are basic sports cheese which are great and

:22:50. > :22:52.they are mobile, everything is basically just right for the

:22:53. > :23:00.players. They are designed for the young person or the older player.

:23:01. > :23:03.Anybody can have a go. Let's find out a little bit more about that

:23:04. > :23:06.recruitment drive and speak to Ian Edwards, the chairman of North Wales

:23:07. > :23:12.Crusaders Wheelchair Rugby League Club. How are you spreading the word

:23:13. > :23:16.about this? Mainly at the moment we are quite keen to get into schools.

:23:17. > :23:26.We have got some junior sized wheelchairs here. We are going to be

:23:27. > :23:32.put on some children's training. It does look pretty brutal at times.

:23:33. > :23:40.While the lads are carrying on, you will often hear big crashes. They

:23:41. > :23:45.don't hold back. But I guess that is an attraction for some kids. They

:23:46. > :23:51.love it. It is actually what they want to do. They want to get stuck

:23:52. > :23:55.in. Thank you very much and good luck with your recruitment. --

:23:56. > :23:58.drive. Paralympian athlete Nathan Stephens

:23:59. > :24:03.learnt to dance for his wedding and probably thought that would be that.

:24:04. > :24:06.But tonight he'll appear in Strictly Come dancing for Sports Relief after

:24:07. > :24:10.the programme makers saw his wedding video. The 25-year-old, who lost his

:24:11. > :24:14.legs in an accident when he was nine, has been in training with his

:24:15. > :24:16.partner Iveta practising their Salsa routine.

:24:17. > :24:26.And you can see Nathan in action tonight.

:24:27. > :24:28.The only time I have danced is my first wedding dance which was a bit

:24:29. > :24:34.stumpy but I managed to get through it. Hopefully with a bit more

:24:35. > :24:37.training, I will remember the steps. Javelin has got to be quite rhythmic

:24:38. > :24:46.anyway. It has got to be quite smooth. Hopefully it will marry up.

:24:47. > :24:50.Sport Relief starts straight after us at 7.00pm here on BBC One Wales.

:24:51. > :24:52.Derek's been known to wear his leg warmers for a spot of dancing. How

:24:53. > :25:01.is the weekend weather looking? Leg warmers will come in handy. We

:25:02. > :25:04.are in for a chilly weekend with a mixture of sunshine and showers. The

:25:05. > :25:08.air is unstable which means heavy showers, hail and a risk of thunder.

:25:09. > :25:12.Also some of the showers wintry with sleet and snow. And watch out for

:25:13. > :25:16.frost, especially on Sunday night. This evening, a trough will move

:25:17. > :25:21.east bringing a spell of rain. This will clear to scattered showers.

:25:22. > :25:28.Some of the showers heavy with hail and falling as snow on higher

:25:29. > :25:32.ground. A cold night. Here's the picture for 8.00am in the morning.

:25:33. > :25:35.Some places dry but there will be showers around. Some of them heavy

:25:36. > :25:39.and wintry with sleet. Snow in parts of Powys and Brecon Brecons. Rain or

:25:40. > :25:44.hail on the coast. The temperature in Caernarfon only five Celsius. So

:25:45. > :25:47.it's a case of dodging the showers. Snow on high ground. But I can

:25:48. > :25:54.promise some dry weather and sunshine as well. Temperatures

:25:55. > :25:57.nothing to write home about. In Caerphilly tomorrow, sunny intervals

:25:58. > :26:01.and heavy showers. Hail possible with a high of eight Celsius in

:26:02. > :26:04.Risca. In Montgomeryshire, it's a similar story with a top temperature

:26:05. > :26:08.of seven Celsius in Newtown. Tomorrow night, a few showers. Some

:26:09. > :26:13.dry, clear weather as well. Windy on Anglesey. Sunday will be chilly and

:26:14. > :26:24.breezy with a few scattered showers but generally more in the way of dry

:26:25. > :26:28.and bright weather. If you're in Cardiff Bay for the Sport Relief

:26:29. > :26:34.mile on Sunday, I wouldn't rule out a shower, but otherwise dry. Ideal

:26:35. > :26:39.for running. Sunday night will be dry and cold with a widespread

:26:40. > :26:44.frost. In Mid Wales, the temperature could dip as low as minus five.

:26:45. > :26:49.Monday will start cold and dry but it won't last with more rain on the

:26:50. > :26:57.way. Our picture tonight is from Steve Davies-Evans. Towering clouds

:26:58. > :27:02.over the Bristol Channel. Thanks, Steve.

:27:03. > :27:07.The main news again. The Labour MP Ann Clwyd is under

:27:08. > :27:13.pressure to allow an investigation into her husband's death to be made

:27:14. > :27:16.public. The Royal College of Nursing in Wales has told Wales Today that

:27:17. > :27:20.staff feel demoralised and frustrated that she has refused to

:27:21. > :27:22.share a report looking at the care Owen Roberts received at the

:27:23. > :27:25.University Hospital of Wales. Two men from Ceredigion are facing

:27:26. > :27:29.charges relating to the mislabelling of meat. Dafydd Raw Rees, the owner

:27:30. > :27:31.of Farmbox Meats in Llandre, and Colin Patterson, a company

:27:32. > :27:33.representative, are accused of mislabelling goat meat as lamb or

:27:34. > :27:40.mutton.
