:00:00. > :00:00.been shown with fascination with celebrity as we see here on the

:00:00. > :00:29.streets. Hello, good evening. The family of a

:00:30. > :00:33.disabled man, who died after a routine operation, have been told

:00:34. > :00:36.they can have an inquest - nearly a year after his death. Timothy Cowen

:00:37. > :00:39.underwent a gall bladder operation last April at Wrexham Maelor

:00:40. > :00:42.Hospital. Anna Bailey reports. A childhood illness left Tim Cowen

:00:43. > :00:46.unable to swallow or walk and he had to be fed through a stomach tube. He

:00:47. > :00:50.went to Wrexham Maelor Hospital for a routine gall bladder operation on

:00:51. > :00:54.the 23rd April last year, and was discharged on the 25th. A few days

:00:55. > :00:57.later he was taken into A He died on the 2nd May. The initial death

:00:58. > :01:00.certificate said Mr Cowen died from pneumonia as a consequence of

:01:01. > :01:03.cerebral palsy. His family said they weren't aware he had the condition

:01:04. > :01:06.and requested an independent post-mortem. A review was launched

:01:07. > :01:10.by Betsi Cadwaladr Health Board, which runs the hospital. Now, nearly

:01:11. > :01:16.one year on, the final report is ready and an inquest can be held. We

:01:17. > :01:20.need closure. Timothy was, despite all his personal challenges - they

:01:21. > :01:28.have been well documented - lived a very full and contented and happy

:01:29. > :01:41.life. Betsi Cadwaladr Health Board have already apologised for the

:01:42. > :01:43.delay. Since then, it has met with Mr Cowen's family to discuss their

:01:44. > :01:48.investigation. Its findings will be made public at the inquest. We could

:01:49. > :01:50.have had a result by now. We could have had the inquest completed by

:01:51. > :01:54.now. Any recommendations, which flowed from that, would be in place

:01:55. > :01:58.by now. But, frankly, it's going to be another six to nine months before

:01:59. > :02:03.anything positive can come out of Tim's death last May. That just is

:02:04. > :02:16.unacceptable. Mr Cowen's family say they still have questions about his

:02:17. > :02:20.death. They hope to gain answers at the inquest, which is expected to

:02:21. > :02:24.take place in the next few months. A 21-year-old man has died after

:02:25. > :02:26.falling on Snowdon. The man and a friend had reached the summit

:02:27. > :02:29.yesterday afternoon, but took a wrong turn down. It's understood

:02:30. > :02:32.they tried to turn back, when the man fell 500 feet. Very tragic

:02:33. > :02:35.circumstances when we're surrounded with this very beautiful weather and

:02:36. > :02:39.so many people enjoying themselves, but a tragedy like this could occur

:02:40. > :02:46.with so many people in that vicinity. A real tragic event and

:02:47. > :02:49.obviously our thoughts are with the family. The Archbishop of Wales has

:02:50. > :02:53.drawn on stories from conflicts in Syria and Rwanda in his Easter

:02:54. > :02:56.message. Dr Barry Morgan has put forgiveness and solidarity at the

:02:57. > :03:03.heart of his address, which he says illustrates the meaning of Easter.

:03:04. > :03:06.The first is from the city of Homs in Syria, where a parish priest

:03:07. > :03:13.refused to leave that city although it was besieged. And although there

:03:14. > :03:17.was hunger there, he was under-fire. He said, I've been with the people

:03:18. > :03:25.in their good times, I have to remain there during the bad times.

:03:26. > :03:28.He was killed this week. That reminds me of the solidarity of God

:03:29. > :03:37.in Jesus Christ, whatever people do to him. The Welsh Rugby Union is set

:03:38. > :03:40.to appoint its first woman board member in its 133-year history. It's

:03:41. > :03:44.understood to be one of the main recommendations of a review into the

:03:45. > :03:47.way Welsh Rugby Union is run that started two years ago. Member clubs

:03:48. > :03:50.will vote on the proposals in October. Football and Cardiff City

:03:51. > :03:54.missed an opportunity to boost their Premier League survival hopes, they

:03:55. > :03:56.could only manage a 1-1 draw at home against Stoke. Meanwhile, a Wilfried

:03:57. > :03:59.Bony penalty in stoppage-time ensured Swansea crept closer to

:04:00. > :04:02.safety securing a 2-1 win over Newcastle. In the Conference,

:04:03. > :04:08.Wrexham are 16th in the table after a goalless draw with Chester. Let's

:04:09. > :04:13.take a look at the weather forecast for Wales, here's Owain Wyn Evans.

:04:14. > :04:18.Most of us have seen some brightness. Clear spells across the

:04:19. > :04:21.country. A dry night, because of the clear spells, the temperatures will

:04:22. > :04:25.fall low. Cloud pushing in from the east, the South West and the

:04:26. > :04:29.north-west remaining clearer. Over night lows between three and six

:04:30. > :04:33.Celsius. It will be a cloudy and grey start tomorrow. Some brightness

:04:34. > :04:37.in the north-west. Then the showers push in from the east. The heaviest

:04:38. > :04:43.of the showers likely to be concentrated across parts of south

:04:44. > :04:47.Wales. Temperatures tomorrow 12-15 Celsius. A breezy day across Wales.

:04:48. > :04:51.As the low pressure moves away on Monday, it will drag this cold front

:04:52. > :04:55.behind it. It will introduce showers across the country. The story for

:04:56. > :05:01.this week, sunshine and showers. Enjoy the rest of your weekend.

:05:02. > :05:02.That's Wales Today. We'll be back at 6.50pm tomorrow evening. Thanks for

:05:03. > :05:22.watching. Bye. Good evening. The temperature

:05:23. > :05:24.reached 18 degrees in the sunshine across parts of the Scottish
