:00:26. > :00:32.Good evening. Around 400 jobs could be saved at the troubled Murco Oil

:00:33. > :00:35.Refinery in Milford Haven after a breakthrough in negotiations. It's

:00:36. > :00:39.been confirmed today that the sale of the plant has been agreed in

:00:40. > :00:42.principle. The buyer for the site, which faces closure, is understood

:00:43. > :00:44.to be the oil entrepreneur Gary Klesch. Carwyn Jones reports. It's

:00:45. > :00:47.been a major employer in Pembrokeshire for more than 40

:00:48. > :00:51.years, but the recent fortunes of the Murco Oil refinery in Milford

:00:52. > :00:54.Haven have cast serious doubt over its long term future. The plant has

:00:55. > :00:58.been operating at a loss, leading owners Murphy Oil to find a buyer

:00:59. > :01:01.for the site. A potential ?300 million deal broke down in April.

:01:02. > :01:05.But today, news of a breakthrough, as the sale of the site has now been

:01:06. > :01:07.agreed in principle. Still some significant work to be done but it

:01:08. > :01:12.was really positive that yesterday they were able to reach an agreement

:01:13. > :01:19.in principle for the sale process to go forward. We know sales like this

:01:20. > :01:24.which are very complicated can fall through at a late stage. But having

:01:25. > :01:30.spoken to the buyer and the seller I am optimistic. The buyer is thought

:01:31. > :01:33.to be Gary Klesch, head of a global industrial business, specialising in

:01:34. > :01:36.the production and trading of oil. It will take on a Murco Refinery

:01:37. > :01:40.that has the potential to produce 135,000 barrels a day, but which is

:01:41. > :01:48.currently having to recycle oil products just to keep it

:01:49. > :01:53.operational. This is extremely encouraging news. Not least because

:01:54. > :01:59.the group mentioned in the purchase did buy a refinery near Hamburg in

:02:00. > :02:05.2010 and therefore they know the refinery business and how difficult

:02:06. > :02:09.it is to make money in it. I think there is some realism probably on

:02:10. > :02:12.that side of the table. A final agreement on the sale of the Murco

:02:13. > :02:16.plant has yet to be confirmed, but there's renewed optimism in Milford

:02:17. > :02:19.Haven this evening for the future of this Refinery and for the 400 people

:02:20. > :02:23.who work here Imams should be able to speak English before they are

:02:24. > :02:29.allowed to teach in Mosques in the UK, according Conservative Assembly

:02:30. > :02:32.Member Mohammad Ashghar. Ahead of the royal visit to Wales tomorrow,

:02:33. > :02:35.the former Welsh Secretary Peter Hain says Prince Charles encouraged

:02:36. > :02:38.him to press the Welsh government to introduce complementary medicine on

:02:39. > :02:41.the NHS. The Neath MP is one of three former cabinet ministers who

:02:42. > :02:44.have revealed how the Prince tried to influence government policies.

:02:45. > :02:47.Here's our political reporter, Daniel Davies In his job, he talks

:02:48. > :02:50.to a lot of people, including politicians. Peter Hain and Prince

:02:51. > :02:53.Charles disagreed on some things, like hunting. But both of them

:02:54. > :02:56.supported the use of complementary medicine, things like osteopathy and

:02:57. > :02:59.acupuncture, on the NHS. Mr Hain ran a pilot project when he was Northern

:03:00. > :03:04.Ireland Secretary. He had been constantly frustrated by his

:03:05. > :03:09.inability to confirm to any health ministers anywhere that it was a

:03:10. > :03:13.good idea so he phoned me unique from this point of view and being

:03:14. > :03:20.somebody who actually agreed with him on this. When he learned about

:03:21. > :03:24.this he was extremely enthusiastic and tried to persuade the Welsh

:03:25. > :03:28.Government to do the same thing and the government in Whitehall to do

:03:29. > :03:32.the same thing for England, I had the same experience myself in being

:03:33. > :03:35.unsuccessful. A spokeswoman for the Prince of Wales's said he seeks to

:03:36. > :03:38.help people and communities in whatever way he can, but declined to

:03:39. > :03:40.comment on private conversations. However, some think his private

:03:41. > :03:46.conversations with government minister should be a public matter.

:03:47. > :03:50.What we want is the utmost transparency. If he has been writing

:03:51. > :03:56.letters and trying to influence ministers we want to know about it

:03:57. > :03:59.and see the documentation. In an open and fiercest dietary that it's

:04:00. > :04:04.what we want. My own personal point of view is that the monarchy should

:04:05. > :04:07.keep out of this. Prince Charles's personal views have attracted

:04:08. > :04:10.attention in the past. Most recently when he apparently compared Vladimir

:04:11. > :04:14.Putin to the Nazis. Now it's not just his views that are under

:04:15. > :04:23.spotlight, but who he's sharing them with. Now the weather. Good evening.

:04:24. > :04:28.We have a lot of fine and settled weather forecast for the coming

:04:29. > :04:33.days. Generally fine and settle but with showers coming through in the

:04:34. > :04:37.afternoon. Temperatures in Engel figures in many spots as we get

:04:38. > :04:43.through the night tonight. A dry start to the working week for many

:04:44. > :04:51.of us tomorrow. There could be a few light showers but not all of us will

:04:52. > :04:54.see them. Some fine weather in the forecast is how it looks right

:04:55. > :05:00.through until the end of the week with a lot of dry and fine weather.

:05:01. > :05:11.That is all from now. Goodbye. Good evening. For some of us, there

:05:12. > :05:15.has been some sunshine but we have had showers around. Heavier ones

:05:16. > :05:16.during the morning. Starting to lose
