:00:14. > :00:19.Good evening. Around 400 jobs could be saved at the troubled Murco Oil

:00:20. > :00:24.Refinery in Milford Haven after a breakthrough in negotiations. It's

:00:25. > :00:28.been confirmed today that the sale of the plant has been agreed in

:00:29. > :00:31.principle. The buyer for the site, which faces closure, is understood

:00:32. > :00:38.to be the oil entrepreneur Gary Klesch. Carwyn Jones reports. It's

:00:39. > :00:42.been a major employer in Pembrokeshire for more than 40

:00:43. > :00:44.years, but the recent fortunes of the Murco Oil refinery in Milford

:00:45. > :00:50.Haven have cast serious doubt over its long term future. The plant has

:00:51. > :00:53.been operating at a loss, leading owners Murphy Oil to find a buyer

:00:54. > :00:59.for the site. A potential ?300 million deal broke down in April.

:01:00. > :01:08.But today, news of a breakthrough, as the sale of the site has now been

:01:09. > :01:13.agreed in principle. The is still some significant work to be done in

:01:14. > :01:16.the next few weeks but it would really positive yesterday they were

:01:17. > :01:21.able to reach an agreement in principle for the sale to go

:01:22. > :01:26.forward. We know that deals like this can fall through at a late

:01:27. > :01:31.stage but having spoken to the buyer and the owner of the refinery

:01:32. > :01:36.yesterday, I am optimistic a sale can be completed. The buyer is

:01:37. > :01:38.thought to be Gary Klesch, head of a global industrial business,

:01:39. > :01:42.specialising in the production and trading of oil. It will take on a

:01:43. > :01:45.Murco Refinery that has the potential to produce 135,000 barrels

:01:46. > :01:52.a day, but which is currently having to recycle oil products just to keep

:01:53. > :01:57.it operational. This is extremely encouraging news. The group that is

:01:58. > :02:06.now being mentioned in the context of the purchase by a refinery from

:02:07. > :02:11.Shell in hamburg in 2010. They know the refinery business and how

:02:12. > :02:15.difficult it is to make money in it. A final agreement on the sale of the

:02:16. > :02:18.Murco plant has yet to be confirmed, but there's renewed optimism in

:02:19. > :02:22.Milford Haven this evening for the future of this Refinery and for the

:02:23. > :02:25.400 people who work here Imams should be able to speak English

:02:26. > :02:27.before they are allowed to teach in Mosques in the UK, according

:02:28. > :02:32.Conservative Assembly Member Mohammad Ashghar. He told BBC Wales

:02:33. > :02:36.foreign preachers who can't speak English aren't helpful to children

:02:37. > :02:39.or Islam. Politicians and religious leaders in Cardiff have issued a

:02:40. > :02:42.joint statement condemning extremism after a propaganda video was

:02:43. > :02:49.released showing two men from Cardiff, urging others to fight in

:02:50. > :02:52.Syria. Ahead of the royal visit to Wales tomorrow, the former Welsh

:02:53. > :02:55.Secretary Peter Hain says Prince Charles encouraged him to press the

:02:56. > :03:00.Welsh government to introduce complementary medicine on the NHS.

:03:01. > :03:03.The Neath MP is one of three former cabinet ministers who have revealed

:03:04. > :03:18.how the Prince tried to influence government policies. A spokeswoman

:03:19. > :03:21.for the Prince of Wales's said he seeks to help people and communities

:03:22. > :03:27.in whatever way he can, but declined to comment on private conversations.

:03:28. > :03:32.He was frustrated by his inability to persuade any health ministers any

:03:33. > :03:41.queer that it was a good idea. He find me unique in this point of view

:03:42. > :03:46.because I wanted to deliver it. FT has been writing letters and trying

:03:47. > :03:51.to influence ministers we want to know about it and to see the

:03:52. > :04:02.documentation. My own personal view is that the monarchy should keep

:04:03. > :04:05.well out of these things. Welsh cyclist Luke Rowe finished fourth in

:04:06. > :04:08.the men's race during the National Road Cycling Championships in

:04:09. > :04:11.Abergavenny. Peter Kennaugh won in dramatic style, coming from behind

:04:12. > :04:14.to overtake fellow Sky rider Ben Swift. And Laura Trott took the

:04:15. > :04:18.women's title in a sprint finish. We've had a return of the sunshine

:04:19. > :04:26.today, but will it last? Sara Thornton has the forecast. Good

:04:27. > :04:30.evening. A lot of dry and fine weather in the forecast for the

:04:31. > :04:37.coming week. Not too many of these showers, a lot of dry and sunny

:04:38. > :04:44.weather. Showers potentially most likely towards the costs. Peeking

:04:45. > :04:51.around 21 selfie is. As we go through the coming days a lot of dry

:04:52. > :04:54.and sunny weather on offer. That is all from Mars for now. Thank you for

:04:55. > :05:14.watching. Good night. -- that is all Good evening. The weather is
