:00:00. > :00:16.competitions between 1956 and 1960. That's all from us.

:00:17. > :00:21.Officers from North Wales Police who've travelled to Greece to help

:00:22. > :00:23.with the search for missing Denbigh pensioner Arthur Jones

:00:24. > :00:27.say they're trying to track down Welsh holidaymakers.

:00:28. > :00:31.It's believed they may have met the 73-year-old on the island of Crete.

:00:32. > :00:35.Mr Jones hasn't been seen since 19th June,

:00:36. > :00:38.two days after he arrived on holiday.

:00:39. > :00:40.Police have found his name in a visitors' book

:00:41. > :00:56.What happens to Arthur Jones and where could he have gone on the

:00:57. > :01:00.island of Crete? That has been the only thing on his son's mind for the

:01:01. > :01:05.past few weeks. I called up with him today. I have been fearing the

:01:06. > :01:12.worst, but you have got to stay positive. The people back home, the

:01:13. > :01:18.community, everything they have done, it gives you a boost and

:01:19. > :01:23.raises morale. You hit the point, every other are you thinking

:01:24. > :01:31.different scenarios in your head. But with possible sightings, he has

:01:32. > :01:36.got the experience to survive, we think he has got money on him.

:01:37. > :01:40.Carter Jones was staying at the Sawtell and he was last seen here.

:01:41. > :01:43.In truth, that is the only concrete information the family has. He

:01:44. > :01:50.mentioned he might be going for a walk, the coast, the mountains.

:01:51. > :01:54.Officers from North Wales Police have arrived to lend a hand. A

:01:55. > :02:00.welcome sight for Arthur Jones's friends and family. After's

:02:01. > :02:06.signature is on a guestbook is a war memorial. The other names could be

:02:07. > :02:14.vital. We went straight to the cemetery where we now Arthur had

:02:15. > :02:17.visited. In the visitors book the remains of two couples from England

:02:18. > :02:21.and somebody from Wales whose signature is legible. We're making

:02:22. > :02:27.an appeal for those people to come forward. In order to help us with

:02:28. > :02:32.enquiries. That coupled with a possible sighting of Arthur Jones

:02:33. > :02:40.gives the family hope. If he has just gone for a walk for now, got

:02:41. > :02:45.lost, not enough water, started getting dehydrated, he could easily

:02:46. > :02:48.have gone off track. At the moment, there are more questions than

:02:49. > :02:52.answers for this North Wales family in the heat of Crete. But with help

:02:53. > :02:53.from home they are determined to find out what happened to Arthur

:02:54. > :02:56.Jones. Back home, police searching

:02:57. > :02:59.for a man missing in Llanelli have confirmed

:03:00. > :03:00.a body has been found. Richard Chandler

:03:01. > :03:03.from Northamptonshire was working in the area when he disappeared

:03:04. > :03:06.after a night out last Thursday. A man's body has been found in

:03:07. > :03:10.the Delta Lakes area of the town. The 25-year-old?s family

:03:11. > :03:13.have been informed but the body hasn't been

:03:14. > :03:17.formally identified. A jury will continue to consider

:03:18. > :03:21.its verdict tomorrow in the trial of a man accused of shooting

:03:22. > :03:24.his wife dead in Newport. Caroline Parry was shot in

:03:25. > :03:27.the back near her home last August. Christopher Parry was found

:03:28. > :03:31.critically wounded nearby. Newport Crown Court

:03:32. > :03:33.has heard he shot her because he couldn't accept

:03:34. > :03:35.she'd left him. But he claims he meant

:03:36. > :03:37.to shoot himself only. Mr Parry, from Cwmbran,

:03:38. > :03:38.denies murder More than 150 under-18s in Wales

:03:39. > :03:43.have been accused of sex offences against other children in the past

:03:44. > :03:45.two years according to figures released by the charity the NSPCC

:03:46. > :03:49.from three Welsh police forces. In one case,

:03:50. > :03:53.a boy of 10 was cautioned. The charity says the findings

:03:54. > :03:59.are "deeply concerning". The mother of a man

:04:00. > :04:01.who was kidnapped in 2007 and then killed by Iraqi militants

:04:02. > :04:04.has told Wales Today the Foreign Office treated him

:04:05. > :04:09.like a second-class citizen. Alec MacLachlan from Llanelli was

:04:10. > :04:13.one of five men captured in Baghdad. Today, the leader of the group who

:04:14. > :04:18.took them has apologised for their deaths and blamed the UK government

:04:19. > :04:37.for not doing enough to intervene. This video was released by his

:04:38. > :04:42.captors. In 2007, the IT expert was training government officials in

:04:43. > :04:51.Baghdad when he was kidnapped. Four men who were working for a private

:04:52. > :04:55.security firm is as bodyguards. They were also captured. There was a

:04:56. > :05:01.media blackout on reporting details about the case. Interviews with the

:05:02. > :05:06.men's families were limited. But they spoke to the BBC to appeal for

:05:07. > :05:10.their safe return. I plead with the people who have got my son to send

:05:11. > :05:17.him home. We love and miss him so much. The men were taken from

:05:18. > :05:21.government offices by militants dressed as Iraqi policeman. Two

:05:22. > :05:25.years after they were taken, the bodies of two of the bodyguards were

:05:26. > :05:32.taken. They had been shot. Alec MacLachlan was found and returned.

:05:33. > :05:38.The fourth bodyguard was also killed. Three months later, the man

:05:39. > :05:40.they were protecting is freed. His captors now say the British

:05:41. > :05:45.government is responsible for what happened. TRANSLATION: I think the

:05:46. > :05:50.British government is responsible for their deaths. The British

:05:51. > :05:53.government only concentrated on Peter Myrtle for the bodyguards were

:05:54. > :06:02.second-class citizens. That was a surprise. Peter Miller is now

:06:03. > :06:07.working in the Caribbean. He spoke to us from Guyana. I did not feel

:06:08. > :06:14.like I had a priority are anything like that. Maybe, in 2009, once they

:06:15. > :06:18.knew that the others were dead, maybe it became more of a priority

:06:19. > :06:21.to me because they knew I was alive. But I don't believe that any greater

:06:22. > :06:30.priority was given to me over the guards. The League Of The Righteous

:06:31. > :06:34.is now a political as well as military force in Iraq. They are

:06:35. > :06:39.involved in the recent threat from ISIS. We spoke to Alec MacLachlan's

:06:40. > :06:44.family today, his mother was too upset to talk but told me she agreed

:06:45. > :06:48.with those comments. She felt the British government had publicised

:06:49. > :06:52.and prioritised Peter over her son and the other bodyguards. Five years

:06:53. > :06:56.after their deaths, no one has yet been brought to justice. Although

:06:57. > :06:59.his mother did not want to give an interview on camera, she did tell me

:07:00. > :07:04.she will continue to fight for justice for her son. The Foreign

:07:05. > :07:06.Office told us today they take the kidnapping of British nationals

:07:07. > :07:11.extremely seriously. The responsibility for the deaths lies

:07:12. > :07:14.entirely with those who kidnapped and murdered them.

:07:15. > :07:16.Welsh cyclist Geraint Thomas has been back on his bike

:07:17. > :07:19.as the 2014 Tour de France travelled to London.

:07:20. > :07:22.where more than two million people lined the route.

:07:23. > :07:25.Thomas raised concerns over the safety of some spectators who put

:07:26. > :07:31.cyclists at risk by standing in the road to take photos of themselves.

:07:32. > :07:33.Football, and Cardiff City Bluebirds beat Carmarthen Town 3-0

:07:34. > :07:38.Swansea City, who are in Chicago training, start their

:07:39. > :07:42.Premier League campaign away to Manchester United on August 16th.

:07:43. > :07:46.Manager Garry Monk is hoping Spanish striker Michu, who's understood not

:07:47. > :07:50.to have travelled with the squad, stays at the Liberty Stadium.

:07:51. > :07:56.He's been linked with a move to Italian side Napoli.

:07:57. > :07:59.Let?s take a look at what the weather has in store.

:08:00. > :08:09.Thank you. We have a few showers dotted around, but the tendency is

:08:10. > :08:13.for the weather to become dry in the overnight period. Tomorrow we have

:08:14. > :08:16.got bright spells to look forward to, but there is a scattering of

:08:17. > :08:19.showers in the forecast as well. Those showers will feed away

:08:20. > :08:24.overnight, becoming dry, remaining cloudy, the quote is thick enough to

:08:25. > :08:25.produce light cloudy, the quote is thick enough to

:08:26. > :08:31.rain or drizzle. Mist and fog forming, overnight temperatures ten,

:08:32. > :08:34.13 Celsius. High pressure is trying to build from the south west, which

:08:35. > :08:38.will settle things down through tomorrow afternoon and Wednesday.

:08:39. > :08:42.Low pressure is not too far away to the east of us either. First thing

:08:43. > :08:46.tomorrow morning, a cloudy start, sunshine gets to work and will

:08:47. > :08:52.brighten up. A few showers dotted around. For the rest of the UK, the

:08:53. > :08:55.spine of the United Kingdom, heavy showers in the forecast, there is a

:08:56. > :09:00.yellow warning for those at risk of localised flooding. Elsewhere,

:09:01. > :09:04.sunshine and showers. Certainly improving across Wales as we go

:09:05. > :09:07.through tomorrow afternoon. We can look forward to sunshine and fewer

:09:08. > :09:14.showers. The breeze picks up from the north-westerly direction with

:09:15. > :09:17.high temperatures of 16 18 Celsius. Where they should be for the time of

:09:18. > :09:24.year. Tomorrow night we will see clear skies at first. Lower Tebbit

:09:25. > :09:30.as of 11, 13 Celsius. -- lower temperatures. On Wednesday, as long

:09:31. > :09:34.as we can find shelter from the breeze it is a very nice day. We can

:09:35. > :09:40.look forward to dry conditions with some sunshine, high temperatures of

:09:41. > :09:42.21 Celsius. On Thursday a bit more unsettled across eastern counties

:09:43. > :09:48.where we could see cloud and rain. The best of the drier and brighter

:09:49. > :09:51.weather for Pembrokeshire. Something a bit warmer as we head towards the

:09:52. > :10:01.end of the week. That is the forecast.

:10:02. > :10:02.Over on BBC Two, the man most responsible for levelling child

:10:03. > :10:04.abuse allegations at responsible for levelling child

:10:05. > :10:09.abuse allegations at Westminster. Thank you for watching. The night.
