:01:27. > :01:28.I think everybody recognises that, but I think

:01:29. > :01:33.the reaction has been somewhat disproportionate to his offence.

:01:34. > :01:37.It was right that he lost his job, but I think some of the outrage

:01:38. > :01:40.that has been expressed, I think is slightly hypocritical and slightly

:01:41. > :01:49.Opponents think it's wrong that the First Minister should be judge

:01:50. > :01:51.and jury for misbehaving cabinet ministers.

:01:52. > :01:56.He decides who has broken the code and how to respond.

:01:57. > :01:58.There are calls for a more independent system, but the First

:01:59. > :02:08.He could have just sacked him without any reason.

:02:09. > :02:18.Carwyn Jones insists we know what Alun Davies tried to do because he

:02:19. > :02:26.He says when he found out what was going on, he kicked Mr Davies out

:02:27. > :02:29.But despite that assurance and despite apologies

:02:30. > :02:33.from the two men, the questions keep coming from the opposition

:02:34. > :02:41.about whether Mr Jones was right to give Alun Davies a second chance.
