:00:00. > :00:15.is all for now. I will be back with the late news here on

:00:16. > :00:24.Good evening. There are weather warnings still in place for strong

:00:25. > :00:31.winds and rain as the tail end of a hurricane continues to hit parts of

:00:32. > :00:42.western Wales. There were flooding incidents in parts of the region

:00:43. > :00:51.earlier. Some roads were impassable for drivers. One flood warning is

:00:52. > :00:56.still in place and for flood alerts are active. We will have a full

:00:57. > :01:04.weather forecast in a few moments. We have learned that the Welsh and

:01:05. > :01:10.UK Government spent a combined total of ?300,000 on the supreme court

:01:11. > :01:15.cases about Assembly powers. It has been revealed under the Freedom of

:01:16. > :01:21.Information Act. A spokesperson said costs were being kept as low as

:01:22. > :01:36.possible while the Welsh Government said it showed the need for reform.

:01:37. > :01:42.Samples of honey... One sample in particular could call the key. It

:01:43. > :01:47.has been known for centuries that the honey breeze produce can have

:01:48. > :01:56.healing properties. My new car honey from New Zealand is already used to

:01:57. > :02:02.treat winds. There is hope that the Welsh honey can hold the key to

:02:03. > :02:13.beating certain kinds of diseases. It has been used against bacteria

:02:14. > :02:19.like MRSA. If the samples respond positively the pollen is analysed so

:02:20. > :02:27.that sign tests can trace it back to the plant it came from. Scientists

:02:28. > :02:33.have had some success. From the samples we find about ten which have

:02:34. > :02:39.the activity we are looking for. One honey sample from North Wales is the

:02:40. > :02:47.most active and compatible to the new car honey. In the meantime tests

:02:48. > :02:54.are continuing on other samples provided by Welsh beekeepers. I love

:02:55. > :02:59.the idea that there is a plant somewhere on the mountainside of

:03:00. > :03:05.North Wales which has the next cure. The only way we will find that

:03:06. > :03:12.is if people send us their honey. The race is on to find fresh

:03:13. > :03:17.solutions. The scientists may well be on the right track. Soldiers from

:03:18. > :03:22.a Pembrokeshire village who lost their lives in both world wars have

:03:23. > :03:29.been honoured on a memorial for the first time. The tablet has the names

:03:30. > :03:47.of 25 soldiers engraved on it. Some sports news now. It has been said it

:03:48. > :03:56.is crazy that Cardiff City got less than was paid last August. Meanwhile

:03:57. > :04:03.this man has told Swansea fans he is sad to leave a club that has been

:04:04. > :04:08.like a family to him. In golf, Amy Donaldson can cement his place in

:04:09. > :04:15.Europe's final Ryder Cup team this evening. He is five shots behind the

:04:16. > :04:23.leader. He is in the qualifying spot after gaining some valuable ranking

:04:24. > :04:27.points. Now the weather forecast. Hello. We have had some severe

:04:28. > :04:33.weather conditions across Wales today and we are not quite out of

:04:34. > :04:40.the woods yet. The delay and of the hurricane is making its way north.

:04:41. > :04:46.-- tail end of the hurricane. It will be very windy tonight. Tomorrow

:04:47. > :04:51.will be breezy with heavy scattered showers. Tonight we have some

:04:52. > :04:58.weather warnings in force. The showers will come and go especially

:04:59. > :05:02.across parts of the South. Drier further north but we cannot rule out

:05:03. > :05:08.a shower anywhere today. Top temperatures overnight around 18

:05:09. > :05:12.Celsius. Some bright or sunny intervals throughout the day

:05:13. > :05:17.tomorrow but some heavy showers moving in from the west. Tomorrow

:05:18. > :05:25.temperatures will peak at 19 Celsius. Tomorrow the showers

:05:26. > :05:29.continued to push across towards the east of the country. Tonight as they

:05:30. > :05:36.will pressure moves north there will be cooler year fishing in and that

:05:37. > :05:42.will continue over the next few days. The isobars are quite close

:05:43. > :05:48.together on the pressure chart. Fairly unsettled over the next few

:05:49. > :05:51.days but towards the end of the meet the Reg of high pressure will build

:05:52. > :05:56.bringing more settled conditions. That is all for now. Thank you for

:05:57. > :06:11.your company. Good evening. Hello there. With reports of

:06:12. > :06:14.flooding and wind damage in some parts of the UK, hurricane Bertha

:06:15. > :06:20.has certainly left her mark, in one form or another. The low that sperm

:06:21. > :06:23.from her is now pushing its way on to the North Sea and through the

:06:24. > :06:25.night will keep winds strong and gusty across the country. Some

:06:26. > :06:26.lively showers around
