:00:44. > :00:46.ending. They had crossed from the continent in a motor home when their

:00:47. > :00:49.friends travelling behind them said they thought they could see a leg

:00:50. > :00:55.hanging under their vehicle and when they stopped in a traffic jam a man

:00:56. > :00:59.jumped off. I was looking forward and all of a sudden I looked to the

:01:00. > :01:04.side and I could see a gentleman walking along the hard shoulder. I

:01:05. > :01:12.turned and said, blimey, there must have been somebody under there. We

:01:13. > :01:15.wondered where he had come from the hard shoulder on the M25 but he was

:01:16. > :01:21.not fazed at all. He just stared in the window quite insolently and just

:01:22. > :01:25.carried on walking. The couple think he got onto the axle as the couple

:01:26. > :01:29.were leaving Calais and coming through the Channel Tunnel. After

:01:30. > :01:33.arriving at Folkestone they travelled at speeds of up to 65

:01:34. > :01:37.miles an hour and did not stop for three hours and in that time they

:01:38. > :01:43.travelled along three motorways. The problem of migrants getting into the

:01:44. > :01:46.UK illegally is top of the political agenda. Earlier this week people

:01:47. > :01:49.were filmed to scrambling to get on a ferry at Calais and the Home

:01:50. > :01:52.Office has been in touch with the French authorities about the issue

:01:53. > :02:00.and says it will do whatever is needed to make the border friends of

:02:01. > :02:03.the couple could not believe what they were saying. We were shocked

:02:04. > :02:06.really. We did not expect it, half expected it jokingly but to see him

:02:07. > :02:11.actually appear from under the vehicle after all of that time, it

:02:12. > :02:15.was quite a shock. We keep going over and over it in the mind, what

:02:16. > :02:20.would've happened if he had fallen off and we could have killed him and

:02:21. > :02:24.we are very upset. The man ran off into a field next to the motorway

:02:25. > :02:27.and the couple say other motorhome owners should be warned about the

:02:28. > :02:28.issue in case the same happens to them.
