:02:11. > :02:13.saying that she will look at whether business rates could be cut,
:02:14. > :02:24.Here is our Economics Correspondent, Sarah Dickins.

:03:40. > :03:44.seems to be a privilege service rather than manufacturing. The
:03:45. > :03:56.doctor handling 20% more cargo than the were a year ago,. There is

:04:53. > :04:57.help British steel and that in this country needs to be done quickly.
:04:58. > :04:59.She says she is listening but many of the problems are a with her
:05:00. > :05:00.control. After today's summit Sarah Dickins
:05:01. > :05:02.spoke to the Economy Minister and asked her what the
:05:03. > :05:05.Welsh Government could do to help We have got a lot of exciting
:05:06. > :05:09.proposals, in terms of development. We have got to make sure we have
:05:10. > :05:12.a steel industry It is not just a question of the
:05:13. > :05:18.procurement of government contracts. We have got to make sure that UK
:05:19. > :05:31.steel can go in and we have got to also do a lot
:05:32. > :05:34.more work with manufacturing I think there has got to be more
:05:35. > :05:39.of the pride in what we are People should feel the same way
:05:40. > :05:44.as the French and the Germans do. We both know that
:05:45. > :05:46.the French will buy French We have also got to get that
:05:47. > :05:56.message across to people. Under European level, we need to
:05:57. > :06:02.look at the rules and regulations regarding steel. They are a dated.
:06:03. > :06:07.All these things take time and the list Cheney steel waiting and
:06:08. > :06:11.Newport docks. The industry needs their help though. The industry has
:06:12. > :06:17.had a lot of help, in terms of the discussions. I think it is a
:06:18. > :06:26.problem. Because there is a problem. Because United Kingdom, that is the
:06:27. > :06:34.real issue. Russia have the ability to do that. You cannot load an
:06:35. > :06:40.industry like this to feel. How would that affect the defence
:06:41. > :06:45.sector? We have issues, but they are United Kingdom government issues.
:06:46. > :06:52.There are other issues. The likes of reducing small business rates would
:06:53. > :06:58.help. I know we will be accused of stated on these issues. But we will
:06:59. > :07:04.look at them. If you have the power to reduce business rates, why do you
:07:05. > :07:09.not do something tomorrow? We have to look at our budget. We have to
:07:10. > :07:18.look at that and that spending, with regard to other priorities. We also
:07:19. > :07:23.have constraints placed on us by the European Union. Even though you have
:07:24. > :07:31.these powers from this April, you cannot intervene at this point? I am
:07:32. > :07:35.going to take advice and have to look at the costings and the reality
:07:36. > :07:37.of whether I am able to do it. If you do something wrong, the European
:07:38. > :07:40.Commission deals with it. The mother of five-year-old
:07:41. > :07:42.Mason Jones, who died from e.coli in his school dinner in 2005,
:07:43. > :07:45.has told BBC Wales that she is considering legal action against
:07:46. > :07:47.the Crown Prosecution Service. Sharon Jeffreys' attempt to have
:07:48. > :07:50.a new inquest into her son's death She says the decision not to pursue
:07:51. > :07:58.a charge of manslaughter against the butcher who supplied
:07:59. > :08:01.the meat was wrong and has led to Caroline Evans spoke to her
:08:02. > :08:27.at her home in Hirwaun. It is ten years since he died after
:08:28. > :08:33.eating the infected meat. It is something we love with every day and

:09:20. > :09:22.the inquest will not be reopened. Following the inquest,
:09:23. > :09:24.the coroner said he had considered a catalogue of horrific failures
:09:25. > :09:27.at the meat factory and that Mason had probably died as the result
:09:28. > :09:30.of eating meat prepared with Today, Sharon showed me
:09:31. > :09:34.a letter from the CPS admitting it had made a mistake in not pursuing

:12:25. > :12:29.was taken to a medical centre and lost consciousness. He died from
:12:30. > :12:35.heart failure. The men were acquitted of his manslaughter, but
:12:36. > :12:40.the judge raised concerns about the so-called bee sting practice within
:12:41. > :12:45.the army. They have no help from the man who oversaw all the soldiers
:12:46. > :12:50.pikemen. He said physical sanctions against them was appropriate in some
:12:51. > :12:56.circumstances. He says he felt let down by his two colleagues that
:12:57. > :13:01.they, who he says unbeknown to him carried out the second bee sting
:13:02. > :13:10.exercise of him in the gymnasium. He says he is haunted by what happened.
