:00:48. > :00:51.11,000 Royal Welch Fusiliers who died in that conflict have been

:00:52. > :00:58.Earlier, at eleven o'clock, many of us paused for two minutes to

:00:59. > :01:12.In Caernarfon, it was signalled with a whistle, the sound which,

:01:13. > :01:16.a century ago, sent men out of their trenches, so often to their deaths.

:01:17. > :01:20.In the castle square here, the Maes, as people know it, 100 or

:01:38. > :01:39.From the Senedd to workplaces, to public squares and gardens,

:01:40. > :02:01.I've lost grandfathers to the war, so it means

:02:02. > :02:07.If we don't learn from the past, we won't stop making mistakes

:02:08. > :02:13.There's no doubt that you are never very far away, in Wales, from

:02:14. > :02:17.someone who has served their nation, whether it be in Afghanistan, Iraq,

:02:18. > :02:22.Bosnia, the Falkland Islands, or indeed in further realms of history.

:02:23. > :02:25.There is no doubt that people have a great connection, and we are

:02:26. > :02:30.The Secretary of State for Wales, Stephen Crabb, laid a wreath

:02:31. > :02:34.There, veterans joined staff to help strike

:02:35. > :02:41.There really is nothing else quite like the annual act of remembrance

:02:42. > :02:44.that we do as a nation, nothing that brings people together from all

:02:45. > :02:47.backgrounds and all communities, and all ages, to just honour the memory

:02:48. > :02:50.of those who gave their lives, but also to think and reflect

:02:51. > :02:56.Not so long ago, this moment, the 11th day of the 11th hour of the

:02:57. > :03:01.Focus has switched to Remembrance Sunday.

:03:02. > :03:03.Now, though, each year, it seems more

:03:04. > :03:09.For some, it is a personal act remembering

:03:10. > :03:15.Others simply want to reflect on the horrors of war, and the victims

:03:16. > :03:39.There are concerns tonight about jobs in tax offices around Wales.

:03:40. > :03:45.Staff will be given details about sites in Cardiff and Wrexham

:03:46. > :03:49.tomorrow. The economy spokesman of Plaid Cymru has called for urgent

:03:50. > :03:54.clarification over speculation that the service will be centralised in

:03:55. > :03:56.Cardiff. HMRC says it has been clear for some time but its future needs

:03:57. > :03:58.fewer but larger offices. A jury has been told that parts of

:03:59. > :04:02.a woman's body were carried through Pontypridd before being hidden

:04:03. > :04:04.in a storm drain in the town. Cardiff Crown Court heard that

:04:05. > :04:06.Tracey Woodford was strangled by 50-year-old Christopher May

:04:07. > :04:08.after she met him for It was one of Europe's most

:04:09. > :04:18.successful crowdfunding projects, promising technology that put

:04:19. > :04:21.aerial photography in the palm But tonight,

:04:22. > :04:23.the Pembrokeshire company Last night, Torquing Group's former

:04:24. > :04:26.chief executive resigned, leaving those who have invested millions of

:04:27. > :04:29.pounds in the project, to question It started as an idea which captured

:04:30. > :04:35.the imagination of thousands. Soon, the pocket-sized Zano drone

:04:36. > :04:37.became a reality, after millions But today, the company

:04:38. > :04:41.behind the Zano drone, the Torquing Group, based at this

:04:42. > :04:44.innovation centre in Pembroke Dock, Last night, its former chief

:04:45. > :04:52.executive announced his resignation. The company says it is still

:04:53. > :04:54.in shock, and will give further comment on

:04:55. > :04:59.the situation in the next 48 hours. Over 12,000 people worldwide have

:05:00. > :05:01.put more than ?2 million into this Zano drone project that

:05:02. > :05:06.was developed here. People pledged their investment

:05:07. > :05:09.from a crowdfunding website known as Kickstarter, and in light

:05:10. > :05:13.of recent developments, many people have taken to online forums

:05:14. > :05:17.to express their frustration. Despite the potential sarcastic

:05:18. > :05:21.nature of some comments, one investor complained of spending

:05:22. > :05:25.a lot of money on a disastrous campaign, whilst another angry

:05:26. > :05:30.backer demanded their money back. Earlier this year,

:05:31. > :05:32.the BBC's technology correspondent, Rory Cellan-Jones, visited

:05:33. > :05:35.the Pembrokeshire-based company to He says that even during his visit,

:05:36. > :05:41.the company appeared to be facing I'm not at all surprised

:05:42. > :05:46.that there is this crisis. When I visited in August,

:05:47. > :05:48.it was already clear that the project was in trouble, they were

:05:49. > :05:51.behind with delivering the product. I have followed it since,

:05:52. > :05:54.and been talking to people They have been very unhappy with

:05:55. > :05:59.the drone as it is delivered, and they don't believe it's

:06:00. > :06:01.delivered on the promises made As the company attempts to deal with

:06:02. > :06:07.this period of turbulence, Zano's army of backers anxiously

:06:08. > :06:13.await news on their investment. A 48-hour strike by drivers

:06:14. > :06:16.at Arriva Trains Wales has been suspended,

:06:17. > :06:18.meaning that major disruption across 60,000 travellers were expected to

:06:19. > :06:23.be affected by the cancellation But some business leaders say

:06:24. > :06:27.they're concerned that the lengthy negotiations have

:06:28. > :06:31.already been damaging. There are a number

:06:32. > :06:34.of people looking potentially at relocating to Cardiff, and

:06:35. > :06:37.the centre of Cardiff, particularly, I noticed today, I was reading

:06:38. > :06:42.the national newspapers, You know, it's annoying enough that

:06:43. > :06:48.we are talking about it locally, but the reputational damage to

:06:49. > :06:53.Cardiff will be damage. Onto rugby, and a deal to bring

:06:54. > :06:56.Wales centre Jonathan Davies back to the Scarlets from French side

:06:57. > :07:02.Clermont Auvergne is in its final stages according to the new chief

:07:03. > :07:05.executive of the Welsh Rugby Union. Martyn Phillips says they're

:07:06. > :07:07.finalising a National Dual With Jonathan, you know, the reality

:07:08. > :07:14.is, Darren Phillips and I at Scarlets are really in the final

:07:15. > :07:18.throes of that now, so we have a few i's to dot and t's to cross, but we

:07:19. > :07:26.very much hope he's going to come back, and if he does, you know,

:07:27. > :07:29.we'll confirm that as soon Meanwhile, England World Cup winner

:07:30. > :07:32.Josh Lewsey will step down from his role as Welsh Rugby Union's

:07:33. > :07:35.head of rugby in January. His announcement came hours

:07:36. > :07:37.after Stuart Lancaster left The 38-year-old said personal

:07:38. > :07:40.matters had contributed to Football, and Wales will be without

:07:41. > :07:46.Sam Vokes for Friday night's friendly against the Netherlands

:07:47. > :07:48.at Cardiff City Stadium. The Burnley Striker has

:07:49. > :07:51.a groin strain. Wales Manager Chris Coleman is

:07:52. > :07:53.already missing Gareth Bale, Time for the weather

:07:54. > :08:01.forecast now with Derek. There's been a lot of rain

:08:02. > :08:05.in Snowdonia recently, with some Much drier tonight, and dry for a

:08:06. > :08:10.while tomorrow, but it won't last. The wind will increase with

:08:11. > :08:13.more rain on the way. Tonight it's a dry story,

:08:14. > :08:16.the wind lighter inland, the sky much clearer for a change,

:08:17. > :08:19.and a cooler night than recently, temperatures in mid Wales falling

:08:20. > :08:24.as low as six or seven Celsius. Now,

:08:25. > :08:25.tomorrow's chart shows a deep low - It looks like the north

:08:26. > :08:31.and north-west of Scotland will bear the brunt of Storm Abigail,

:08:32. > :08:36.with amber warnings in force. For us in Wales, a dry morning

:08:37. > :08:38.tomorrow, bright, with some sunshine Across the rest of the UK,

:08:39. > :08:45.most places will start dry and bright with some sunshine, but cloud

:08:46. > :08:49.will gather during the day, rain - spreading into Northern Ireland,

:08:50. > :08:52.Western Scotland - will spread further eastwards during the day,

:08:53. > :08:55.becoming windy tomorrow, gales in the west and north with

:08:56. > :08:59.a high of 16 in London. Still dry into the afternoon

:09:00. > :09:03.in Wales, but cloudier, becoming windy, too, strong to gale

:09:04. > :09:07.force winds with some rain spreading from the west later in the afternoon

:09:08. > :09:10.into the evening, with some heavy A short spell of wet

:09:11. > :09:15.and windy weather tomorrow evening, staying windy overnight,

:09:16. > :09:17.with clear spells and blustery Now, Friday will be a breezy, windy

:09:18. > :09:25.day, with showers heavy in places, hail and thunder possible, even

:09:26. > :09:29.a little snow on the mountaintops. Some dry, bright weather

:09:30. > :09:31.and sunshine as well, and feeling chilly in the wind, so I think

:09:32. > :09:35.Pudsey will need to wrap up warmly. Then into the weekend, well,

:09:36. > :09:37.it's all change again, a brief cold snap, as I said, on

:09:38. > :09:41.Friday, but then over the weekend, turning milder, more rain and strong

:09:42. > :09:45.to gale force winds on the way. I'll see you soon.

:09:46. > :09:51.Hwyl am y tro. We're back with updates

:09:52. > :09:54.in Breakfast The Wales Report is on next,
