0:00:46 > 0:00:49of miles away, but the grief is being felt far and wide.

0:00:49 > 0:00:52And amongst the Muslim community here, there is

0:00:52 > 0:00:55an ever growing sense of fear, too.

0:00:55 > 0:00:57Sahar Al Fahifi, from the Muslim Council of Wales,

0:00:57 > 0:01:01told me she condemns the attacks,

0:01:01 > 0:01:04but has raised concerns about a potential backlash here.

0:01:04 > 0:01:09Personally, I have faced verbal and sometimes physical abuse.

0:01:09 > 0:01:14I don't know what life is like without Islamophobia.

0:01:17 > 0:01:19I work in a local hospital and sometimes patients

0:01:19 > 0:01:22around me say abuse.

0:01:22 > 0:01:25We are human beings, like you.

0:01:25 > 0:01:27We are not like ISIS.

0:01:27 > 0:01:28Yes, maybe we are dressed differently,

0:01:28 > 0:01:30maybe we have different practices,

0:01:30 > 0:01:34but we are human beings and we share a universal value of

0:01:34 > 0:01:37freedom, justice, equality.

0:01:37 > 0:01:41In Paris today, the sheer horror of what happened is still thinking in.

0:01:41 > 0:01:44Remi Roberts is from Cardiff, but moved to the French capital

0:01:46 > 0:01:48It's a very tense city, I'd say.

0:02:09 > 0:02:12The Eiffel Tower was dark, it was switched off.

0:02:12 > 0:02:16All the department stores were closed.

0:02:16 > 0:02:21All the museums were closed.

0:02:21 > 0:02:25All matches, all games, all sports of any kind were cancelled.

0:02:25 > 0:02:30There were hardly any people in the streets.

0:02:30 > 0:02:32Tonight, a vigil will be held outside the

0:02:32 > 0:02:34Senedd building in Cardiff Bay.

0:02:34 > 0:02:37And the French counsel to Wales says she's been overwhelmed

0:02:37 > 0:02:39by the messages of support.

0:02:39 > 0:02:41I've had more than 100 messages within four hours yesterday morning

0:02:41 > 0:02:48from people from all over Wales, friends and families, but also MPs,

0:02:48 > 0:02:53AMs, representative members of the religious community.

0:02:53 > 0:02:56It's been really comforting to feel solidarity and support

0:02:56 > 0:03:00in such hard times.

0:03:00 > 0:03:03The Muslim Council for Wales says there's already a positive

0:03:03 > 0:03:05relationship between them, the Welsh government and the police.

0:03:05 > 0:03:09But they say more can and should be done to ensure a

0:03:09 > 0:03:13greater understanding and tolerance of different cultures here.
