:00:43. > :00:47.following an explosion at the Celsa steelworks in Cardiff city centre.

:00:48. > :00:50.The police and the Health and Safety Executive are investigating

:00:51. > :01:03.It was news no-one wanted to hear - confirmation the bodies

:01:04. > :01:08.of two Celsa workers had been found following this explosion.

:01:09. > :01:12.Two members of staff were unaccounted for and sadly, I can

:01:13. > :01:19.We have informed the families and we are continuing to support

:01:20. > :01:23.them at this difficult time with family support officers.

:01:24. > :01:28.Crews worked tirelessly to effect rescues and deal with the fire.

:01:29. > :01:31.Despite heroic attempts, unfortunately, we were unable to

:01:32. > :01:41.All the thoughts of South Wales Fire and Rescue Service are with the

:01:42. > :01:44.The Fire Service were called just after 10:30am

:01:45. > :01:49.after reports of a huge explosion felt up to half a mile away.

:01:50. > :01:53.Staff at this local nursery said the shock shook their ceiling.

:01:54. > :01:57.We have lots of big lorries coming past us so, yeah, it's just

:01:58. > :02:00.because it was such a loud bang and our ceiling shook, we could feel

:02:01. > :02:06.So that's, of course, why we felt that there must be

:02:07. > :02:10.something a bit worse than what we would normally have around here.

:02:11. > :02:12.This is where the explosion took place.

:02:13. > :02:16.It's where they make large steel rods for the construction industry -

:02:17. > :02:20.the number of emergency responders demonstrating how serious this

:02:21. > :02:26.The Fire Service said the blaze was extremely difficult to tackle.

:02:27. > :02:29.This evening, two people are still being treated at Cardiff's

:02:30. > :02:35.Of the four casualties that were transported to the emergency unit

:02:36. > :02:39.here at Cardiff and Vale, two have been discharged home.

:02:40. > :02:41.Two of those patients, because of the nature of smoke

:02:42. > :02:46.inhalation and other aspects of this incident, remain under observation

:02:47. > :02:53.The First Minister, Carwyn Jones, said he was deeply saddened to hear

:02:54. > :02:58.The Prime Minister, David Cameron, said his thoughts were with those

:02:59. > :03:02.affected and he's offered help in dealing with incident.

:03:03. > :03:05.There is a very real sense of loss and it's hard to overstate

:03:06. > :03:09.just how upset people are about what's happened today and the fact

:03:10. > :03:12.that it's not just the people who lost their lives today but their

:03:13. > :03:15.workmates who are going to be coming into work on days in the future and

:03:16. > :03:20.So a really, really tragic day for the workforce here and the wider

:03:21. > :03:25.So as emergency services leave this evening, the question

:03:26. > :03:30.The Health and Safety Executive are helping

:03:31. > :03:37.Celsa says its thoughts and deepest sympathies are with those affected.

:03:38. > :03:41.This is a site that employs over 700 people.

:03:42. > :03:45.These are tragedies that will be felt by many across the Welsh

:03:56. > :04:00.and dismembering a 47-year-old woman at his flat in Pontypridd.

:04:01. > :04:03.50-year-old Christopher May killed Tracey Woodford in April

:04:04. > :04:12.These CCTV images show the last hours of Tracey Woodford's

:04:13. > :04:17.life - leaving The Skinny Dog pub in Pontypridd with Christopher May.

:04:18. > :04:20.At his flat just around the corner, he strangled her

:04:21. > :04:26.For more than a week, her family have sat in the court

:04:27. > :04:30.room, listening to details so distressing even police called to

:04:31. > :04:37.The thoughts and visions of what he did to Tracey have haunted us every

:04:38. > :04:42.day for the last seven months and is something we will never get over.

:04:43. > :04:45.Our mother has nightmares most nights, waking up screaming and

:04:46. > :04:50.crying out Tracey's name, asking, why would he do this to her?

:04:51. > :04:53.We see the devastation in each other's eyes and know the hurt that

:04:54. > :04:57.the other is feeling and know that we are helpless to stop the pain.

:04:58. > :05:00.He didn't just kill Tracey that night.

:05:01. > :05:06.50-year-old Christopher May claimed he had acted in self defence

:05:07. > :05:10.after he was attacked by Tracey who he said he caught

:05:11. > :05:15.It was all a lie, said the prosecution, to hide what

:05:16. > :05:20.was a brutal sexually-motivated murder of a fragile woman.

:05:21. > :05:24.It was when she failed to return home to her family that police

:05:25. > :05:30.When officers went to May's flat at first, he told them that he

:05:31. > :05:34.in Tracey had parted company soon after leaving the pub.

:05:35. > :05:36.But when they searched the flat, they discovered some

:05:37. > :05:43.He told them later they could find more remains in this storm

:05:44. > :05:49.A major police search was begun in scrubland around the club and

:05:50. > :05:56.May had shown no remorse for his actions of murder,

:05:57. > :06:01.mutilation and dismemberment after which Tracey's family and friends

:06:02. > :06:08.have endured the further anguish and torment of a Crown Court trial.

:06:09. > :06:11.At times, the family said afterwards listening to the detail was too much

:06:12. > :06:19.It took the jury less than an hour to reach their verdict.

:06:20. > :06:22.When it came, some of Tracey's family broke down.

:06:23. > :06:25.The judge thanked them for their dignity throughout the case and told
