:00:25. > :00:35.A single bunch of roses today marked the scene of the accident.

:00:36. > :00:39.This busy road runs between the M4 and Talbot Green.

:00:40. > :00:42.The father who is said to have been 43 and his son were crossing

:00:43. > :00:45.the southbound carriageway near to the entrance of the

:00:46. > :00:51.Arthur Llewellyn Jenkins furniture store when they were hit.

:00:52. > :00:54.Bryan George lives close to the road said he had seen them with other

:00:55. > :00:59.members of their family walking along and singing minutes before.

:01:03. > :01:07.It is, he says, the latest in a series of tragedies

:01:08. > :01:13.Four years ago there was a guy killed on a motorbike.

:01:14. > :01:17.My wife was talking to a neighbour earlier and the times

:01:18. > :01:20.that we have run out of blankets and towels and offered people

:01:21. > :01:27.It has been waiting to happen and now it has happened and maybe

:01:28. > :01:36.Both father and son were taken to the nearby

:01:37. > :01:38.Royal Glamorgan Hospital and police say the 22-year-old driver

:01:39. > :01:41.of the Alfa Romeo was arrested at the scene and is assisting

:01:42. > :01:51.The investigation into exactly what happened here is still ongoing.
