:01:15. > :01:21.More than one in five people in Wales live in poverty.

:01:22. > :01:28.And many of those live in working households.

:01:29. > :01:30.Christine Chapman is the chair of the

:01:31. > :01:34.committee that produced the report on poverty in Wales.

:01:35. > :01:37.We are a rich country in the main but yet people

:01:38. > :01:44.are still struggling with their heating bills,

:01:45. > :01:47.with their food, so, you know, that is absolutely appalling,

:01:48. > :01:51.and I think there must be a strong message first of all to the UK

:01:52. > :01:53.Government that, you know, things need to change.

:01:54. > :01:55.But from the Welsh Government point of view I think

:01:56. > :01:57.there needs to be some high-level discussions amongst

:01:58. > :01:59.all of the ministers as to how we can really

:02:00. > :02:05.The Welsh Government says it is working relentlessly to tackle

:02:06. > :02:08.the root causes of poverty and dealing with the effects of UK

:02:09. > :02:10.Government austerity and welfare reforms.

:02:11. > :02:13.Lifting people out of poverty, it says, is at the very

:02:14. > :02:20.A member of the Commons Defence Committee says she has concerns

:02:21. > :02:23.about the RAF's ability to attack so-called Islamic State forces

:02:24. > :02:30.Bridgend MP Madeleine Moon told BBC Wales she believes there aren't
