:00:29. > :00:33.Natural Resources Wales say more rain is due to affect the same areas

:00:34. > :00:40.The road to the village of Llechryd near Cardigan was invisible today.

:00:41. > :00:44.Heavy rain overnight led to the River Teifi

:00:45. > :00:48.Maureen Rhys had come from Christmas celebrations at church

:00:49. > :00:55.and was trying to reach her daughter who lives in the village.

:00:56. > :01:03.It rained all day yesterday and all this morning, up to the early hours.

:01:04. > :01:08.This is the result. It is rain, rain, rain.

:01:09. > :01:10.Meanwhile, the drive of a local hotel

:01:11. > :01:13.was completely flooded meaning no staff could get in and no guests

:01:14. > :01:17.The owner says this is the second time it's happened in five years.

:01:18. > :01:24.We would expect to have people in for lunch today, but obviously that

:01:25. > :01:29.is not going to happen. But will certainly affect our business. On

:01:30. > :01:33.the guests we do have are keen to get home and they were due to check

:01:34. > :01:37.out this morning. They are keeping a close eye on the level and hoping

:01:38. > :01:38.things are going to subside quite quickly.

:01:39. > :01:42.the River Tywi broke its banks, and fire crews were called to five

:01:43. > :01:44.flooded homes in Tremadog in Gwynedd early this morning.

:01:45. > :01:46.Natural Resources Wales say the situation is improving,

:01:47. > :01:49.but another band of heavy rain is expected to affect

:01:50. > :01:56.With the land already saturated and river levels already rising,

:01:57. > :02:00.they say the chance of further flooding is high.

:02:01. > :02:02.The Police and Crime Commissioner for South Wales has questioned

:02:03. > :02:05.whether a government review into use of guns by police

:02:06. > :02:09.The review has been ordered by the Prime Minister

:02:10. > :02:12.following the Paris attacks to examine whether the law gives

:02:13. > :02:16.enough support to officers making a split second decision to shoot.

:02:17. > :02:26.During the Nato summit this sight was commonplace in Cardiff,

:02:27. > :02:29.but would they have hesitated if they'd had to fire?

:02:30. > :02:32.After senior police raised concerns that officers have neither the legal

:02:33. > :02:34.or political backing to work with confidence,

:02:35. > :02:39.the Prime Minister has ordered a review.

:02:40. > :02:41.But the Police and Crime Commissioner for South Wales,

:02:42. > :02:45.Alun Michael, has questioned whether such a move is necessary.

:03:23. > :03:31.Earlier this year a survey asking people in the Dyfed Powys police

:03:32. > :03:39.A legal expert said it is right to hold a review. What is important is

:03:40. > :03:44.the enquiry process after a police shooting by the police. These can

:03:45. > :03:51.take far too long. We have had cases which have been five to ten years

:03:52. > :03:58.down the line. There are currently around 6000 officers trained to use

:03:59. > :04:01.guns. And now how they operate will be put under the microscope, there

:04:02. > :04:03.will be plans to increase their numbers significantly.

:04:04. > :04:06.An appeal to to help a world champion mountain biker and stunt
