:00:31. > :00:35.More than 130,000 people have come to visit

:00:42. > :00:43.But on a day when the chatter and footsteps of visitors

:00:44. > :00:45.would usually be heard it is a lot quieter.

:00:46. > :00:50.The museum opened at one o'clock but with a limited service.

:00:53. > :00:56.I was disappointed the underground bit was closed.

:00:57. > :00:59.Over the bank holiday, another five establishments run

:01:03. > :01:05.industrial action causing a mixed response.

:01:06. > :01:10.I've come all the way from Australia and I can't see all that Wales has

:01:18. > :01:20.then we may not see it but this way they will get the most effect.

:01:21. > :01:23.Strikes at Welsh museums aren't an unfamiliar sight.

:01:24. > :01:26.For more than two years, PCS union members have been

:01:27. > :01:30.protesting against cuts to front line staff members pay on weekends

:01:31. > :01:36.But National Museum Wales says a cut of 4.7% to

:01:37. > :01:39.its annual grant from the Welsh Government means extra

:01:40. > :01:43.weekend payments are now unaffordable as they cost

:01:44. > :01:54.They want to be treated fairly in the same way as everybody else

:01:55. > :01:58.It is the lowest paid, they want some security.

:01:59. > :02:00.The last planned strikes were suspended in September

:02:01. > :02:06.But further disagreement means the long-running dispute continues.

:02:07. > :02:10.National Museum Wales says resolving it is a matter of urgency.

:02:11. > :02:16.An individual consultation process will start a week on Monday.

:02:23. > :02:27.Creative Skillset Cymru says it's due to a lack of public funding.

:02:40. > :02:43.One academic study suggests synthetic natural gas emits seven

:03:53. > :03:54.Tomorrow, elite athletes will be running alongside

:03:55. > :03:58.ordinary runners but today is about inspiring the next generation.
