:02:04. > :02:07.while this rural heritage centre in Gwynedd failed.
:02:08. > :02:10.The conventional wisdom is that Wales
:02:11. > :02:12.receives more from the European Union than it pays.
:02:13. > :02:16.It is taxpayers' money that goes to Wales and comes back to
:02:17. > :02:20.You get money back, there is no assurance that you get
:02:21. > :02:24.The Minister's argument is that as the
:02:25. > :02:27.EU expands further and more countries from Eastern Europe join
:02:28. > :02:36.In 2007, when Bulgaria and Romania joined the EU there were
:02:37. > :02:39.concerns that Wales would get pulled out on that level of funding
:02:40. > :02:43.but that turned out not to bew the case so it is,
:02:44. > :02:47.potentially something that might be of concern but not
:02:48. > :02:54.For members of the public and professional politicians
:02:55. > :02:58.alike, it is certainly a debate that has passions running high.
:02:59. > :03:02.As Labour's pro-EU battle bus rolls into
:03:03. > :03:04.Merthyr Tydfil there is a sense that it is
:03:05. > :03:08.going up a gear but the party knows it has a battle on its hands
:03:09. > :03:15.because the vote on June 23rd could hinge on how Labour voters vote.
