:01:37. > :01:38.which is we are better off in the EU.

:01:39. > :01:51.Those on the other side of the argument,

:01:52. > :01:52.say Remain campaigners are being negative.

:01:53. > :01:54.The government have decided they want us to stay

:01:55. > :01:57.in the European Union despite pushing very hard for this

:01:58. > :02:00.referendum, and they are modelling all the impact of coming out

:02:01. > :02:02.but they are not looking at the positive side of it,

:02:03. > :02:04.the impact that pulling out could have on exporters.

:02:05. > :02:07.We want to export across the rest of the world to countries

:02:08. > :02:09.with which we don't currently have trade deals.

:02:10. > :02:11.Some of the biggest employers in Wales, including major exporters,

:02:12. > :02:18.Airbus, which has 6,000 employees here, has written

:02:19. > :02:21.to them outlining the benefits of EU membership.

:02:22. > :02:29.With 2,200 staff, British Gas is backing the EU.

:02:30. > :02:37.Ford with its 1,900 workers also wants to remain.

:02:38. > :02:42.Leave has the backing of the boss of JCB and a major base in Wrexham.

:02:43. > :02:44.Professor Patrick Minford wants to leave the EU and

:02:45. > :02:54.would mostly eliminate manufacturing in favour of design and high-tech.

:02:55. > :02:57.The whole point about the EU is, it is protectionist.

:02:58. > :02:58.I don't think Wales' industry needs protection,

:02:59. > :03:02.It is high-tech in many cases, the car industry exports

:03:03. > :03:06.more than half its output outside the EU.

:03:07. > :03:10.It has great products. It has nothing to fear from competition.

:03:11. > :03:15.The boss of the global brand, JoJo Mamam Bebe,

:03:19. > :03:23.41% of exports from Wales go to the European Union

:03:24. > :03:29.which is a market of 500 million people.

:03:30. > :03:39.We're good at producing new, innovative ideas, services and

:03:40. > :03:42.products which we are, at the moment, selling to the world very

:03:43. > :03:44.well, so why should we restrict

:03:45. > :03:45.our economic growth by this move backwards?

:03:46. > :03:48.Most business surveys suggest that firms are largely in favour

:03:49. > :03:53.As it gets closer to polling day, many will be looking for signals

:03:54. > :04:04.that indicate which destination were heading for.
