:01:17. > :01:21.She's already been to Scotland and today was the turn of Wales.

:01:22. > :01:24.Standing to attention, these are important shots for both

:01:25. > :01:29.The Prime Minister wants to show she cares about all corners of

:01:30. > :01:34.The First Minister wants to show he has influence with the woman

:01:35. > :01:37.who'll be heading the heading up the negotiations.

:01:38. > :01:39.I want the Welsh Government to be involved and

:01:40. > :01:43.engaged in the discussions we are having, along with other

:01:44. > :01:48.That is why I am here today and we must get the best

:01:49. > :01:51.I recognise there is concern about the

:01:52. > :01:53.While we're members of the European Union,

:01:54. > :01:58.The rhetoric has been warming up over the EU but today,

:01:59. > :01:59.on the hottest day of the year,

:02:00. > :02:02.the First Minister kept the pressure on leading Leave

:02:03. > :02:06.campaigners to ensure Wales does not lose out financially.

:02:07. > :02:09.The people around the table were not those who supported

:02:10. > :02:11.Leave to begin with, didn't make the promise.

:02:12. > :02:13.But there are those in government like Boris Johnson and

:02:14. > :02:17.David Davis, who were saying do not worry about leaving the EU,

:02:18. > :02:20.every single penny the EU provides will be provided

:02:21. > :02:23.Let's see if they can keep that promise.

:02:24. > :02:26.Theresa May and Carwyn Jones are well apart

:02:27. > :02:30.politically but they have one big thing in common, both wanted to

:02:31. > :02:33.remain in the EU and both now have to deal with the

:02:34. > :02:35.consequences, good or bad, of leaving.

:02:36. > :02:39.This is important because the terms of those

:02:40. > :02:43.Brexit negotiations will play a central role in how

:02:44. > :02:45.their particular relationship plays out in future.

:02:46. > :02:49.One prominent Brexit campaigner at the Royal Welsh,

:02:50. > :02:52.Ukip's Neil Hamilton says there should not be any further

:02:53. > :02:57.obstacles and he is keen to plough on with the talks.

:02:58. > :03:01.Wales has a great future outside the EU

:03:02. > :03:05.but we have got to make sure we make the best of it and that the money

:03:06. > :03:07.which we sent to Brussels and they spend here

:03:08. > :03:12.Plaid Cymru want to go in a different direction, with the

:03:13. > :03:16.First Minister taking a stronger role before the UK

:03:17. > :03:21.He has to be much more proactive in going to

:03:22. > :03:25.London and negotiating there but also there is no reason

:03:26. > :03:27.why he and his officials should not be in

:03:28. > :03:30.Brussels either, speaking very strongly for the Welsh needs.

:03:31. > :03:33.Now is the calm before the storm, ahead

:03:34. > :03:38.Theresa May told the meeting it will be difficult for them to start

:03:39. > :03:48.So it may not be until 2017 when the heat will really intensify.

:03:49. > :03:50.A woman, whose body was found at a house in Gwynedd,

:03:51. > :03:52.has been named locally as Emma Louise Williams.

:03:53. > :03:55.Police are treating her death as suspicious.

:03:56. > :03:57.Detectives were called to the property in

:03:58. > :04:02.The street and a lane have been cordoned off and a major incident

:04:03. > :04:07.Nominations for the Labour leadership have opened tonight

:04:08. > :04:10.and Pontypridd MP, Owen Smith, is hoping his name will end up

:04:11. > :04:15.Earlier, he and fellow contender, Angela Eagle

:04:16. > :04:18.took part in a hustings for Labour MPs.

:04:28. > :04:32.Chloe Thomas's son Finlay died after suffering "catastrophic

:04:33. > :04:34.injuries" at his home near Tonypandy.

:04:35. > :04:38.Last month, her boyfriend Sean Buckley, received a life

:04:39. > :04:44.We know the safeguarding board will do a detailed case review

:04:45. > :04:47.and lessons will be learned so that no other children have to suffer

:04:48. > :04:53.But what we do know is that babies are more vulnerable to abuse

:04:54. > :04:56.and neglect not being reported because they are seen by very few

:04:57. > :05:00.professionals, probably only the health visitor and the GP.

:05:01. > :05:05.So what we would like to see is more detailed support, more comprehensive

:05:06. > :05:08.support to parents in those first few months and years

:05:09. > :05:14.Half of Welsh universities have seen an increase

:05:15. > :05:16.in the number of plagiarism cases being investigated,

:05:17. > :05:19.according to figures obtained by this programme.

:05:20. > :05:22.It's believed websites offering students academic essays

:05:23. > :05:24.in return for a fee are contributing to the rise.

:05:25. > :05:33.Graduation, the pinnacle of at least three years' of hard work.

:05:34. > :05:36.The journey to this point comes with many challenges.

:05:37. > :05:39.Workload pressures can lead individuals to fall foul

:05:40. > :05:43.of academic regulations, or even take risks with their work.

:05:44. > :05:46.Plagiarism is the most common form of academic misconduct.

:05:47. > :05:50.It can range from poor referencing to having an assignment

:05:51. > :05:57.Figures obtained by this programme show that between 2010 and 2015,

:05:58. > :06:00.undergraduate plagiarism cases investigated at Swansea,

:06:01. > :06:04.Cardiff, Aberystwyth and Cardiff Metropolitan Universities

:06:05. > :06:09.The number of postgraduate cases at Swansea, Aberystwyth

:06:10. > :06:14.Improvements in technology, rising student numbers,

:06:15. > :06:18.and higher tuition fees are some of the reasons behind the increase.

:06:19. > :06:20.But there are more serious factors at work.

:06:21. > :06:23.We are always going to have naive students, we are always

:06:24. > :06:28.going to have students with various personal issues, and we are always

:06:29. > :06:34.I think what is of more concern is the sheer availability of bespoke

:06:35. > :06:39.It is estimated there could be around 1000 websites offering

:06:40. > :06:43.bespoke essays in return for a fee and whilst this practice is not

:06:44. > :06:47.illegal, to submit work written by somebody else is to commit

:06:48. > :06:55.It is understood many companies are targeting students on social

:06:56. > :07:00.The vast majority choose to ignore them and say it is never

:07:01. > :07:04.You could get kicked out of university.

:07:05. > :07:06.It is not a chance you want to take really.

:07:07. > :07:10.It seems they are not really doing it to help anyone,

:07:11. > :07:15.I don't know anybody who has done it, but I guess it still happens.

:07:16. > :07:18.It is thought the growing number of essay mills pose a serious threat

:07:19. > :07:22.They do totally undermine degrees because students are giving

:07:23. > :07:28.an inaccurate account of their knowledge and skills.

:07:29. > :07:32.If they are presenting work which is not their own,

:07:33. > :07:37.it is undermining the fairness of the assessment process

:07:38. > :07:40.and calls into question their qualification.

:07:41. > :07:44.Universities in Wales say breaches of academic regulations are treated

:07:45. > :07:49.seriously and students are given guidance throughout their studies.

:07:50. > :07:53.Onto football and Wales manager Chris Coleman is to be offered

:07:54. > :07:55.the freedom of his home city, Swansea.

:07:56. > :07:57.The 46-year-old led Wales to their first major

:07:58. > :08:02.when they reached Euro 2016 in France.

:08:03. > :08:05.They made it to their first semifinal before losing

:08:06. > :08:11.Time for a look at the weather, Sue's here.

:08:12. > :08:20.And after a hot day are those temperatures are still rising?

:08:21. > :08:27.Today was the hottest day of the year so far. Tomorrow is going to be

:08:28. > :08:29.hotter still. Still with plenty of sunny spells. Let's take a look at

:08:30. > :08:30.the map. Overnight muggy with

:08:31. > :08:32.mainly clear skies. The odd mist or fog patch

:08:33. > :08:34.especially along the coast. Temperatures holding up

:08:35. > :08:36.in the mid to high teens and quite stifling

:08:37. > :08:38.for some overnight. Tomorrow's chart shows high

:08:39. > :08:40.pressure over the Continent. A cold front to the west of Ireland

:08:41. > :08:43.with a plume of hot air from Spain and France moving

:08:44. > :08:45.north across the UK. Tomorrow, any early mist

:08:46. > :08:49.will burn back to the coast and then we'll see another dry day

:08:50. > :08:52.of clear blue skies and sunshine. High pressure keeping things fine

:08:53. > :08:56.and settled everywhere, maybe just a little fog

:08:57. > :08:59.lingering along some coasts with the difference in air

:09:00. > :09:01.and sea temperature. And hotter everywhere,

:09:02. > :09:04.into the low 20s across the north of Scotland,

:09:05. > :09:07.low 30s in the south of England. And across Wales tomorrow afternoon

:09:08. > :09:10.it's even hotter than today. Very light winds, a little

:09:11. > :09:12.hazier further south later in the afternoon and high

:09:13. > :09:15.pollen levels as well. Tomorrow night, cloud

:09:16. > :09:18.will spread from the south. Another warm, humid night

:09:19. > :09:21.with a risk of thunder showers developing especially further

:09:22. > :09:24.north and west you are. And there's a Met Office

:09:25. > :09:27.warning in place for a risk of those overnight,

:09:28. > :09:28.torrential downpours are possible but

:09:29. > :09:30.they're hit and miss. On Wednesday, any thunder showers

:09:31. > :09:33.in the north should clear followed by a drier

:09:34. > :09:36.day, sunny spells. Temperatures lower but still

:09:37. > :09:37.warm and humid. Thursday's cooler and fresher

:09:38. > :09:41.with a mixture of sunny spells From everyone on the

:09:42. > :09:53.late team, goodnight.
