:01:46. > :01:52.Carwyn Jones believes that trend could be under threat if the UK
:01:53. > :01:56.For me, it is absolutely fundamental that we get access
:01:57. > :02:01.Anything beyond that, to me, well, that's negotiable.
:02:02. > :02:05.But I cannot see how we can continue to attract investment in the levels
:02:06. > :02:09.we have done if we are outside of a market bigger than we are.
:02:10. > :02:12.We now know that Carwyn Jones will define his approach to Brexit
:02:13. > :02:15.negotiations around the need for the UK to form part
:02:16. > :02:22.In other words, for there to be free movement of goods and services.
:02:23. > :02:26.The problem is, though, that that may only be achievable
:02:27. > :02:30.if there is the free movement of people as well.
:02:31. > :02:32.And it's likely that that would be acceptable
:02:33. > :02:43.-- that won't be unacceptable for many who voted to leave.
:02:44. > :02:46.After criticism from opposition parties that he's been slow to act,
:02:47. > :02:48.the focus now is selling Wales abroad.
:02:49. > :02:51.First up - Chicago, as part of a series of trade visits

:03:12. > :03:19.and refine what we do in Wales before moving onto the continent?
:03:20. > :03:22.The terms of that future relationship will be
:03:23. > :03:25.under discussion tomorrow when the Prime Minister,
:03:26. > :03:27.Theresa May, chairs her first Cabinet since summer break.
:03:28. > :03:30.Around the table will be the Welsh Secretary, Alun Cairns,
:03:31. > :03:33.who struck an upbeat tone today on the latest economic data.
:03:34. > :03:36.We've heard of figures of doom and gloom all along, but we need
:03:37. > :03:42.People said that the inward investment figures this year would
:03:43. > :03:45.be down because of the uncertainty of the referendum.
:03:46. > :03:52.There have also been some strong Welsh unemployment figures recently.
:03:53. > :04:00.The big job for now is to try to ensure they continue.
:04:01. > :04:03.A father and son have been sentenced to a total of nearly six years
:04:04. > :04:06.in prison for the violent theft of a pedigree dog in Abergavennny.
:04:07. > :04:09.Thomas and Martin Stokes, from the East Midlands,
:04:10. > :04:11.posed as potential buyers before stealing the puppy,
:04:12. > :04:23.He was prepared to steal people's prize animals -

:04:48. > :04:52.Thomas Stokes then punched Liz Swaine and they made off

:05:02. > :05:04.The court heard the attack has destroyed her confidence.
:05:05. > :05:10.Thomas Stokes was after these prize pugs, worth around ?1,200 each.

:06:35. > :06:39.Now 48 staff are considering legal action for failing to consult
:06:40. > :06:48.More than 800 people were arrested in Wales over the last three years,
