0:01:11 > 0:01:13vital public services.

0:01:13 > 0:01:16This man who is fearful of being identified says

0:01:16 > 0:01:19without the right paperwork accessing a doctor is not easy.

0:01:36 > 0:01:38The ability to make hospital appointments, organise transport,

0:01:38 > 0:01:42find English lessons, and so on can be quite

0:01:42 > 0:01:46difficult and quite daunting.

0:01:46 > 0:01:46difficult and quite daunting.

0:01:46 > 0:01:49We are asking Assembly Members to have a review of those services,

0:01:49 > 0:01:52how they work, how they are working for refugees and asylum seekers,

0:01:52 > 0:01:55so they can get on with their life in Wales and have a sustainable

0:01:55 > 0:01:58livelihood here.

0:01:58 > 0:02:00An asylum seeker is someone who has fled their homeland.

0:02:00 > 0:02:02They make themselves known to authorities and submit

0:02:06 > 0:02:09That is what happened to Farouk Abdi from Ethiopia.

0:02:09 > 0:02:15I didn't go back to Ethiopia because so many of my people

0:02:15 > 0:02:18are killed by the Government.

0:02:18 > 0:02:21A refugee is someone who has proven to the authority they would be

0:02:21 > 0:02:22at risk if they returned

0:02:22 > 0:02:24to their home country.

0:02:24 > 0:02:29This 20-year-old Hussan arrived in Cardiff from Syria a month ago.

0:02:36 > 0:02:39I am studying economics in Syria.

0:02:39 > 0:02:41But now, no.

0:02:41 > 0:02:44I now just learn English.

0:02:44 > 0:02:47English lessons are vital to refugees to progress in society

0:02:47 > 0:02:51and that is something they offer at the Oasis Centre.

0:02:51 > 0:02:54For Eric Ngalle Charles from Cameroon, language

0:02:54 > 0:02:56was never a barrier.

0:02:56 > 0:02:59He is a published author and has written about his experience

0:02:59 > 0:03:02and those of others trying to rebuild a life in Wales.

0:03:02 > 0:03:05As a refugee, you have a recognised status, and doors are open to you.

0:03:05 > 0:03:12As an asylum seeker it is a different ball game.

0:03:12 > 0:03:14Your life is not in your own hands.

0:03:14 > 0:03:17You have to rely on support from strangers.

0:03:17 > 0:03:23There is plenty of exploitation.

0:03:23 > 0:03:26He recognises he is one of the lucky ones and believes

0:03:39 > 0:03:44and a time for rebirth.

0:03:44 > 0:03:47The Welsh Government says it is working hard to make sure

0:04:08 > 0:04:10Mr Evans, who supports Pontypridd MP Owen Smith

0:04:10 > 0:04:13in the two-horse leadership race, says he's more concerned

0:04:13 > 0:04:21than ever about the future of the Labour Party.

0:04:21 > 0:04:26The saddest thing about the last year has been as a long-standing

0:04:26 > 0:04:28party member that party members are attacking each other

0:04:28 > 0:04:29rather than attacking

0:04:29 > 0:04:30political opponents.

0:04:30 > 0:04:32It has to stop.

0:04:32 > 0:04:34We are all members of the Labour Party,

0:05:10 > 0:05:15Our sponsors are being cautious because if the event doesn't go

0:05:15 > 0:05:20ahead they're not going to sponsor us.

0:05:26 > 0:05:30The director of the Snowdonia Society says

0:05:30 > 0:05:32the Conwy Falls would "become the Cowny

0:05:32 > 0:05:36trickle" if a dam was built by RWE Innogy on the Conwy River.

0:05:36 > 0:05:38The National Trust says the scheme would continue

0:06:42 > 0:06:46with a terminal illness.

0:06:46 > 0:06:50I want to find people in the same boat as me to see if they can
