:09:14. > :09:16.so it's arduous working conditions for the crews,

:09:23. > :09:24.centre at Alexandra docks in Newport Road over the whole
:09:25. > :09:27.month, and in March it was the old power station

:09:31. > :09:37.Firefighters have been working around the clock to try and get
:09:38. > :09:40.the blaze under control, but it may be a few days yet before
:09:41. > :09:44.And with fires previously at the company's to other sites
:09:45. > :09:47.in Newport and Maesteg, local residents are increasingly
:09:48. > :09:50.concerned about plans for yet another plant a few miles
:09:51. > :09:57.Those plans have been put on hold this afternoon, with news from south
:09:58. > :10:00.Wales would recycling Limited that in light of the suspicious
:10:01. > :10:03.circumstances surrounding the fire, they've decided to withdraw
:10:04. > :10:08.their planning application for the safety of their employees.
:10:09. > :10:11.Local councillor Geoff Tillsley, who's chaired meetings with hundreds

:10:16. > :10:19.developments of such sites will come up against opposition.

:10:35. > :10:38.The local residents are concerned on three grounds.

:10:49. > :10:51.the community will work with it to deliver renewable Welsh power
:10:52. > :10:54.to benefit local areas and businesses.
