:01:30. > :01:35.A 19-year-old woman leaves a club for this takeaway.
:01:36. > :01:39.Here she meets Clayton McDonald - a friend of Ched Evans.
:01:40. > :01:42.The pair get a taxi back to this hotel.
:01:43. > :01:46.After a text from his friend, Mr Evans diverts his own taxi back
:01:47. > :01:52.He joins his friend and the woman in the room and also
:01:53. > :01:56.has sex with her, later leaving by the fire exit.
:01:57. > :01:59.The woman later told police she had no memory
:02:00. > :02:04."The next thing I remember is waking up in a hotel not dressed.
:02:05. > :02:10.She claimed she was too drunk to consent to sex with both men.
:02:11. > :02:14.Clayton McDonald was found not guilty at a trial in 2012.
:02:15. > :02:17.He was not called as a witness in this retrial.
:02:18. > :02:19.But the jury at Caernarfon Crown Court found Ched
:02:20. > :02:25.A promising Wales international, a Sheffield United star striker,
:02:26. > :02:31.After half of a five-year prison sentence was served,
:02:32. > :02:35.clubs that considered signing him were subject to protest.
:02:36. > :02:39.Then came a campaign to clear Ched Evans' name.
:02:40. > :02:43.I made an incredibly foolish decision and failed those people
:02:44. > :02:49.A website offered ?50,000 for information leading to his
:02:50. > :02:58.The Court of Appeal overturned that previous conviction for rape.
:02:59. > :03:03.A retrial ordered to consider that fresh evidence.
:03:04. > :03:07.That fresh evidence came from two men, one who slept with the woman
:03:08. > :03:10.two days before Ched Evans, one who slept with her
:03:11. > :03:16.Both said she used certain phrases and took control
:03:17. > :03:23.Mr Evans told police she used the same phrases and took control
:03:24. > :03:28.in the same way when he and her met in that hotel.
:03:29. > :03:32.One of the witnesses said the woman also didn't remember details
:03:33. > :03:36.after a night out with him, despite not appearing that drunk.
:03:37. > :03:46.He was asked by Mr Evans' defence QC...
:03:47. > :03:50.Now 27 years old, Ched Evans returns to a football career
:03:51. > :03:55.He plans to get married and have more children with his fiancee,
:03:56. > :04:00.Natasha, who has been at his side throughout this entire process.
:04:01. > :04:05.In the last hour, the Plaid Cymru AM Dafydd Elis-Thomas has
:04:06. > :04:10.The Dwyfor Meirionydd AM told his local party this evening
:04:11. > :04:13.that he will sit as an independent AM in the Assembly.
:04:14. > :04:16.The former Presiding Officer had previously been disciplined by Plaid

:04:20. > :04:22.Plaid Cymru say it will now select a new candidate for the seat

:05:00. > :05:02.which says 40% of councils here aren't monitoring air
:05:03. > :05:08.They're demanding the Welsh and UK governments act now.
:05:09. > :05:11.Wales already has some of the highest rates
:05:12. > :05:15.particularly in and around our cities.
:05:16. > :05:18.The British Lung Foundation says exposing children to more polluted
:05:19. > :05:23.But they say monitoring of pollution levels outside schools
:05:24. > :05:29.41% of councils in Wales do not have monitoring of air pollution
:05:30. > :05:33.outside schools at all, and the vast majority of those that
:05:34. > :05:36.do are only monitoring outside one school.
:05:37. > :05:39.But here in Torfaen, environemtnal health officers
:05:40. > :05:42.have a number of different monitors at various locations,
:05:43. > :05:44.like outside this primary school in Cwmbran.
:05:45. > :05:47.We're very lucky in Torfaen in that we haven't had to declare
:05:48. > :05:53.The air pollution is being measured as good and beneath
:05:54. > :05:58.Pollution can adversely affect children with conditions
:05:59. > :06:02.That is something the parents at Geraint Richards
:06:03. > :06:07.He had an asthma attack two years ago which led to a cardiac arrest
:06:08. > :06:11.They believe pollution could have been the trigger.
:06:12. > :06:15.Asthmatics are so sensitive to environmental changes,
:06:16. > :06:24.You have got high levels of traffic going in and out.
:06:25. > :06:27.At the beginning of school and at the end of school,
:06:28. > :06:31.large numbers of buses outside waiting, engines running.
:06:32. > :06:35.The British Lung Foundation have now launched a petition to get more
:06:36. > :06:38.stringent monitoring of air quality outside schools.
:06:39. > :06:41.But the Welsh Local Government Association has defended councils.
:06:42. > :06:46.They say all 22 authorities are members of the Wales Air Quality
