:03:18. > :03:20.A note found by police on his iPhone was a shopping list

:03:21. > :03:23.of what he'd need to carry out what the prosecution

:03:25. > :03:26.He admitted strangling her with a home-made ligature made

:03:54. > :03:55.At first, he told police he did not know where Georgina was.

:03:56. > :04:05.But within hours, he was confessing to killing her.

:04:06. > :04:07.I had the intention to kill her, didn't I?

:04:08. > :04:10.The trouble was, once I'd sort of attempted to murder her,

:04:11. > :04:14.I'd be in a hell of a lot of trouble for that, and she would

:04:15. > :04:24.still have gone on and blackmailed me, couldn't she?

:04:25. > :04:27.Peter Morgan had always admitted the killing but his defence said

:04:28. > :04:30.he was only guilty of manslaughter because he was on the

:05:15. > :05:18.I spoke to quite a few people over the weekend who said we don't really

:05:19. > :05:21.think this is a good deal but this is the only game in town,

:05:22. > :05:24.to be honest, and it is giving a lifeline of five, seven,

:05:25. > :05:27.At least it is giving secure long-term jobs

:05:28. > :05:36.At Cardiff Crown Court three men have been jailed for a total of 90

:05:37. > :05:38.years for the murder of a 29-year-old man.

:06:18. > :06:19.so spare a thought for people who live in areas where

:06:20. > :06:23.Now planning rules could be changed to help tackle mobile not-spots.

:06:24. > :06:26.Changes have already been introduced in England and the UK Government

:06:27. > :06:30.Mobile phone companies can put masts of up to 25 metres

:06:31. > :06:32.in England and it's only now the Welsh Government

:06:33. > :06:36.They then need to try and decide on their policy and then they need

:06:37. > :06:39.to legislate in order to bring about those changes,

:06:40. > :06:42.so I fear that Wales could be maybe up to 12 months behind England again

:06:43. > :06:51.Last month Tesco opened in Aberystwyth,

:06:52. > :06:53.and the next big brand store, Marks and Spencer,

:07:13. > :07:14.Although, it is one sign, it is very important in giving

:07:15. > :07:17.an image of what M is about and as a main part

:07:18. > :07:20.of the town, we would like M to put up this sign bilingually

:07:21. > :07:23.and they will reap the benefits like other businesses in the town

:07:24. > :07:44.Football and in the FA Cup, Newport County have failed to make it

:07:45. > :07:48.through to the third round and a lucrative tie against Liverpool

:07:49. > :07:54.after defeat tonight against Plymouth. It ended goalless after 90

:07:55. > :07:58.minutes. Plymouth were awarded two penalties in extra time. They missed

:07:59. > :08:06.the first but made no mistake with the second. Time for a look at the

:08:07. > :08:10.weather forecast now. Today was the winter solstice but

:08:11. > :08:14.the weather not particularly wintry at the moment. If anything, it is

:08:15. > :08:18.going to turn increasingly windy and quite wet over the next few days. If

:08:19. > :08:24.we take a look at the map, overnight rain clearing, temperatures dropping

:08:25. > :08:31.lower than recent nights. Falling close to freezing inland with fog

:08:32. > :08:36.and mist. Tomorrow, any early mist will clear. A lot of dry weather but

:08:37. > :08:39.a few scattered showers as well. Across the UK, the best of the

:08:40. > :08:44.bright and breezy weather across southern and eastern England.

:08:45. > :08:49.Showers more likely in the West. A chance those showers could be wintry

:08:50. > :08:58.in the hills across Scotland. Feeling cold in those strong winds.

:08:59. > :09:03.Showers easing later across Wales. Bright and blustery and feeling

:09:04. > :09:07.cooler than recent days. Tomorrow night starts fairly calm but

:09:08. > :09:12.overnight, winds pick up and a deep area of low pressure moves in.

:09:13. > :09:16.Scotland will bear the brunt of storm Barbra but Northwest Wales is

:09:17. > :09:22.in the warning zone. There will be some rain but the emphasis on strong

:09:23. > :09:28.winds. A potential for travel destruction. These are the average

:09:29. > :09:36.wind speeds for Friday. Gusts will be stronger. Heavy rain pushing in

:09:37. > :09:39.from the North West. And then that system should clear on Friday night

:09:40. > :09:50.into Saturday morning. Still very blustery. And then more rain and a

:09:51. > :09:52.warning of strong winds overnight into Christmas Day.

:09:53. > :10:01.From all of us on the programme, good night.

:10:02. > :10:04.There's family tradition of difficult Christmases.

:10:05. > :10:06.Ben dropping a frozen turkey on Mum's foot.

:10:07. > :10:09.Put me down! No, we talked about this.
