0:04:39 > 0:04:42was to be shot, Rommel didn't agree with that and so,

0:04:42 > 0:04:44Dad always reckoned it was Rommel who saved his life.

0:04:44 > 0:04:47His collection was valued at around ?10,000,

0:04:47 > 0:04:50but he told the Antiques Road Show it was not for sale.

0:04:50 > 0:04:56It will now be donated to the Imperial War Museum.
