0:01:05 > 0:01:06in memory of Sophie Taylor.
0:01:06 > 0:01:10Pink had been the 22-year-old call centre worker's favourite colour.
0:01:10 > 0:01:13She died in a late-night car crash last year but the fatal
0:01:13 > 0:01:17collision was no accident.
0:01:17 > 0:01:20Today, those responsible for her death were jailed.
0:01:20 > 0:01:25She was loving, giving and trusting and those qualities in her work
0:01:25 > 0:01:31completely abused by these two, I can't even call them human beings.
0:01:31 > 0:01:33All three had been involved in a love triangle.
0:01:33 > 0:01:38Caught on CCTV last August, Sophie Taylor is seen being chased
0:01:38 > 0:01:41by Melissa Pesticcio, who was angry and jealous.
0:01:41 > 0:01:45Also giving chase was Michael Wheeler, who had been
0:01:45 > 0:01:49in a relationship with both women.

0:02:04 > 0:02:07were so frightened that they dialled 999, reporting that they were
0:02:07 > 0:02:09being chased at speed.
0:02:09 > 0:02:11Then, on the emergency call, a loud bang is heard.
0:02:11 > 0:02:16Sophie's car had been violently rammed, sending it into a spin,
0:02:16 > 0:02:18crashing into this block of flats.
0:02:18 > 0:02:24Sophie was killed, her passenger suffered life changing injuries.
0:02:24 > 0:02:27He spent 101 days in hospital and was in a medically
0:02:27 > 0:02:29induced coma for two weeks.
0:02:29 > 0:02:33He told the court the injuries had robbed him of his dignity.
0:02:33 > 0:02:36I had a brain bleed, I had brain swelling,
0:02:36 > 0:02:37I have got a permanent frontal lobe injury.

0:02:46 > 0:02:49The court heard Melissa Pesticcio had sent a text message to another
0:02:49 > 0:02:52friend discussing Sophie Taylor which read, "I will find her
0:02:52 > 0:02:54and I will kill her."
0:02:54 > 0:02:56That text and the chase was the culmination of a period
0:02:56 > 0:02:59of hostility between the two women, which amounted to a campaign
0:02:59 > 0:03:02of intimidation over a stolen boyfriend and an argument
0:03:02 > 0:03:08over a motorbike.
0:03:08 > 0:03:10When the pair were jailed, there was applause and loud cheers
0:03:10 > 0:03:11from the public gallery.
0:03:11 > 0:03:14Outside, Sophie's parents spoke of their loss.
